Every single option was very delicious! 4 different pasta dishes, fried fish, risotto, veal, an array of deserts, a half a foot tall Sunday for my son, drinks, coffee.... This place was amazing. Could not ask for anything better from what we thought would just be a quick dinner. Everyone stayed late and kept giving us more drinks (they insisted) and were always there when we wanted something. We went late so the restaurant was pretty quiet but sitting outside was nice. We will definitely be going again during our 3 day trip to Milan. Would absolutely recommend! read more

3 Fratelli is the best classic Italian restaurant I have experienced in all of Italy so you can say in the entire world. The service with the owner and his son is as Italian and welcoming and full of love as anyone can experience. When you walk in you will be greeted all the way up until you leave with an energy as you would treat an old friend or family member. The prices and the food is the best in all of Italy and it's not even close best pizza, pasta, desert you can possibly ask for and it is better then the highest end Italian restaurants for a price you couldn't imagine. This is our last night in Italy for my wife's babymoon. I'm really glad that we've found this low key but fantastic restaurant near our hotel. Before coming here, the waterfront restaurant that we went to in Cinque Terre was definitely my favorite restaurant during our Italy trip. This restaurant definitely changed my mind on that. The pizza dough bread sticks that was served with the Mexican chili sauce was an excellent appetite opener. My wife ordered the baked salt crusted sea bass with sautéed spinach in garlic and olive oil. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The fish was super tender with the salt crush crust on the skin seeping through just enough to flavor the fish just right. The spinach was very garlicky but under salted. It went very well with the fish. I ordered the prix fixe dinner. The first course was a cured meat plate. Salamis, prosciutto and Italian ham were excellent. But then again all cured meats in Italy are delicious so it's very hard to go wrong with that. The saffron risotto in my opinion was so so. However to be fair, I've never been a fan of risotto to begin with. Risotto had also been nothing more than a glorified Shanghainese congee (pao fan) to me to begin with. The grilled mixed meat plate which consisted of pork, beef and sausage were ultra flavorful. I've always liked meats outside of the US more anyhow. The half liter of wine that came with the meal was nothing special. However, the assortment of sweets that the owner put together for us more than made up for it. The whole prix fixe meal was only 20 euro. The owner was the most gregarious person whom I've ever met in my life. If you don't know what to get, just ask him for his recommendations and he'll put something together that will not disappoint you. My wife and I both were extremely happy that we stumbled on to this place that was close by to where we were staying. It sure was a gem in the middle of no where. The restaurant is a traditional Italian restaurant which has plenty of seafood choices as well as pizza and pasta. The restaurant's manager is very friendly and outgoing. I had penne la duchess and my partner had pizza 'diavola'. We also had a tiramisu as a desert. We were offered an alcoholic drink in the end on the house, which was very thoughtful. Just flew in around 8 pm (20:00 for euro folk) and my wife and I were starving. Stopped in here because we wanted authentic Italian food our first night. My man Massimo killed it, he started us off with wine and first round of food/apps. Then he just kept it coming with pasta and steak/salads, whilst cracking jokes left and right. Next came dessert which was a little bit of everything. But wait there's more. He finally brought out a bottle of lemon alcohol, because I'm not Italian and don't know the real name. All of this for about 60 euros and a second bottle of wine to go! This is the spot that's hard to find and might get overlooked but has everything locals and tourists want to feel welcome all thanks to Massimo and his crew. I had the most amazing dinner here in my Italy vacation. I eat Out 3 times a day 365 days a year and have never been treated as well as I was here. We enjoyed delicious appetizers, wonderful pasta and incredible steak, with complimentary champagne and after dinner drinks. The deserts are incredible. Diner for 2 with bottle of red wine appetizer and 2 entrees and desert only 40 euro. Being from San Francisco I would have been embarrassed too pay so little. I gave him 100 euro and he insisted I take bottle of wine with me. We were truly treated as family. Can't wait till my next trip to visit this wonderful restaurant restaurant again. read more

Came here as it was close by the hotel and we wanted a quiet meal for 2 after a hectic day visiting como. First of all the meal was one of the best we have had in milan regardless of the price. For first course the Lardo and pancetta was sublime. Primo platti gnocchi with 4 cheeses and spaghetti Vongole, both absolutely amazing. Vongole with a large amount of clams and the gnocchi with A LOT of scamorza. Tasted amazing. Secondi was both of us having cottoleta Milanese. So tender and flavour was great. Along with this we ordered grilled vegetables, which consisted of courgette, peppers and aubergine. All tasted great. We also were given a free portion of fried potatoes. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu. Which would have been fine. But we were delivered a tiramisu, a millefuile, dark and light profiteroles and torte a la nonna. No complaints as each one was amazing, but left us feeing rather gluttonous. Hospitality here is amazing. Half way through the meal we were given a half bottle of sparkling wine. And to finish we had 2 limoncello and a very very large serving of mirto, a great Sicilian drink, Well recommended. This place is great and we will be recommending this place to everyone we know.
