Ambiance: it's located in the center of city, close to the train station and bus stop, the dining vibe is cozy, however, everything else is terrible Service: the worst service ever experienced in Milan, I rarely give one star review, and when I do I seriously mean it. The server brought the wrong drink, and didn't serve our table bread until our food was served and we had to ask for it, while other tables were served before their meals without being asked, let alone lack of knowledge to their menu and specialities, they made loud noise of cleaning utensils and tables, rude and not welcoming at all Food & Drink: they ran out certain food we wanted, and for the food they recommended weren't as good Bread - ** so dry and almost not edible Grilled Fish and Seafod Mix - * Ingredienti Gamberone, Scampone, Calamaro, Gamberetti, Capesanta, Spada, their chef did a terrible job, all seafood were so overcooked, only the calamari was editable, scallops were so dry and rubbery, two pieces of shrimp were dry just imagine the texture of reheated leftover, fishes were burnt and tasted very bitter, the dish is basically not edible, and any proud chef would feel shamed about how awful it was Grilled fillet of Piemontese Fassona - ** undercooked steak, asked medium well but served near rare Craft Beer - *** Blonde, just fine Price: their prices weren't crazy but totally not worth it for the poor food quality, expect €30+ per person, this place shouldn't even be called a seafood restaurant, I strongly suggest you avoid dining at this place at all costs

I love the lobster linguine! The sauce is very rich that I finished with a bread! I tried pistachio chess, it's a bit too sweet for asian, I prefer saulty chess, but when the waitress show them in a small tray, so adorable to refuse. We also have fired mixed seafood, fresh and delicious, best with vinegar.

The BEST meal we had in Milan!!!!!! Hands down! Settembrini 18 should definitely be on your bucket list if you are in Milan! It was the best Italian food we've had! In fact, the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. It was excellent! And service was superb as well. I ordered the ravioli in walnut sauce. That was by far the best ravioli I have ever tasted. The ravioli was perfectly cooked, so it was soft, but not too soft. The cheese filling was great. And the walnut sauce was amazing. I've never had walnut sauce until now. And I'm a big fan! 10/10 The margarita pizza had so much flavor! The cheese to sauce ratio was perfection. And the dough was so fresh! 10/10 Caprese salad was good. The mozzarella was extremely fresh! Wow! And the tomatoes perfectly ripe. Delicious together! 10/10 My husband ordered the carbonara pasta and he said it was far superior over all other carbonara dishes! 10/10 The only thing we didn't care for was the cheesecake. It wasn't firm like we are used to in the states. That had good flavor with the chocolate and nuts, but not our favorite. This is a sit down restaurant. Not super fancy, but also not super casual. Our server was great. Everyone was friendly.

Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare (Spaghetti with Seafood) and Risotto alla Milanese con Ossobuco (Milanese style Risotto with Ossobuco)

Mink found this place on Yelp and asked if we could give them a try. The photos looked good and the reviews of the place were also great so I was down to try them for our first meal in Milan. We were hungry and they didn't open till 7pm but we headed there a little early just in case they were fully booked for the night. It was around 6:45pm when we arrived and the staff allowed us to be seated. They did say no service till 7pm which was fine since it was lightly drizzling outside. It gave us time to look at their menu and enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. It was nicely decorated with a full bar in front. Lots of tables to accommodate all different size parties and enjoyable local music playing in the background. Mink decided on the Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare (Spaghetti with Seafood) and I ordered their Risotto alla Milanese con Ossobuco (Milanese style Risotto with Ossobuco). Normally people get appetizers but we were exhausted from a day of travel getting into Milan so we just wanted to eat then head back to the hotel for some rest. Since Mink doesn't drink and I didn't want to upset her, I just ordered a glass of red wine instead of a bottle. I drank it rather fast while waiting for our food from the kitchen so I ordered a second to enjoy with the meal. The food was amazing! They were generous with the seafood in Mink's spaghetti. She loved the sauce. Wish we had bread to soak it all up! Mink shared some with a bunch of seafood for me and she still had a mountain of seafood left over. My ossobuco was delicious and the risotto was better than I expected. We did agree the risotto was rich and not something we could eat often but it was really good. Customer service was amazing and they even tried to call us a Taxi/Cab when we were having Uber issues. They couldn't get through but we appreciated the effort. We were even offered free coffee before we left but we declined. Amazing start to Italy and great pick by Mink.

We will never pass up a truffled ravioli.

Truly a neighborhood joint - while completely friendly to tourists - our visit was full of families enjoying a weeknight dinner, chatting about school, work, and politics, surrounded by delicious dishes. We loved everything we tried and appreciated the accommodating and friendly service, and while we left way too full, there were no regrets. If you're traveling, and staying in a nearby hotel, make a point of stopping by. It will make you feel like you're home. So good!

Shrimp pasta and pepperoni pizza

After not being able to come here due the rain and lack of taxi available we were coincidentally close by the following day and finally were able to check it out. I had the pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Thin but very tasty. My GF had the shrimp pasta and she loved it as well. Mimmo was our server and was very nice. Definitely recommend this spot.

Great service blocks from Milan central train station. Food was excellent. Highly recommend. Lowered to 4 stars because the Tagliatelle with mushrooms didn't quite meet expectations. However the seafood spaghetti was amazing and full of seafood. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were large. It was a bit loud but we had no problem making conversation. Wait staff speaks English. There were Many plates we wanted to try. They have a good selection of wines and desserts.

Again 5 star meal. The service was amazing and the food was even more amazing! Anastasia was my server who was the greatest! The ambiance was also perfect! One observation i got there at 7:30 by the time I was finished the restaurant was very busy

Amazing lobster pasta and the fried seafood mix were both excellent! If you're a seafood lover, this spot is a must-try. The lobster pasta (€25) was rich and flavorful, and the fried seafood mix (€24) was perfectly crisp and generous in portion. My husband and I split both dishes and left feeling very full--great value for the price and QUALITY. We only wish we had room for dessert! Definitely recommend this place. Service was good as well. They had low music going in the background. Very clean restaurant. All together very good!

A pleasant experience as a solo diner. After reading reviews, I came on a Monday night at 8:30pm in April and found the restaurant around 30% full. The interior is set up like a formal dining room, yellow walls with white moldings, seating enough for around 60 people at tables of various sizes. The staff was friendly and welcoming and directed me to a seat at a small table set for two, and presented me with a menu right away. Hard to decide what to get when your eyes are larger than your stomach but you're by yourself so realistically there's only so much you can consume. After some deliberation I ordered the Sicilian red pawn spaghetti €18. The order took about 10 minutes to get ready. Pasta itself was cooked perfectly, the shrimp came in pieces mixed with plum tomatoes in with the pasta plus two complete shrimp on the side. Though the dish was executed well, and the olive oil used was delicious, it didn't stand out as something that I'd be clamoring to order again soon. The server (didn't catch his name) was very friendly and all smiles, he offered to take a picture for me which was a kind gesture. Why minus one star? Not that I needed it, but I wasn't offered bread and noticed some parties were served limoncello at the end of their meal which I wasn't offered either. My order wasn't a lot of food so maybe I didn't meet a min spending for the aperitif. I appreciated that their menu has very clear allergen information denoted. They take cash and card. Prices are very reasonable for the area. There are bathrooms available though I can't comment on their state since I didn't use them. Overall I feel like there were a lot of potentially tasty options which I wish I had a chance to try. Surely open to coming by with more people if I'm in Milan again.

Where do I start? Actually l, I know exactly where, Mimmo was an amazing server! He couldn't have made our experience any better. This place has charm and a home feel. You truly get the Italian experience. For the love of everything, order the ravioli with almond sauce. You will not regret it. Bon Apetit.

Seafood with spaghetti.

Our hotel was able to get us this reservation. It is a distance from the Duomo area. Take a taxi. Very worth the time and ride! Great seafood. Great service. The carbonara is one of the best we ever had. All dishes excellent. Highly recommend

Our great server Mimmo!

A few of us from the Northeast United States had a great dinner in early January. The food and wine were wonderful. What made it best was the service and recommendations from our server Mimmo. He provided suggestions that made our night better than we expected. Thank you

Thanks Yelpies for the nice photos. We opted to sit at the patio by the street. They made it little better by putting a facade between the street and the sidewalk. No smokers but that didn't last long. In Italy, outside seating means someone will be smoking next to you. Guaranteed. When we got here, thr waiter started shaking his head when I said no reservation. After conferring with another waiter, we got seated and things started rolling. Bread was brought out and asked for bottled water. To my surprise, cuperto was free and Pellagrino was only €3.50 Chilled vino bianco was delicious with the two items we shared. I got the grilled octopus served on top of the mashed potatoes. (POLPO CROCCANTE Purè, pomodorini semi dry, paté di olive nere) It was a large serving and grilled to perfection. The fish soup (ZUPPA DI PESCE Pomodoro, calamari, polipetti, seppie, gamberi, cozze, vongole, crostini di pane) had flavor that I wasn't use to. Salty, thick soup base? Definitely better to dip with scarpetta. Wasn't happy that one clam and one mussels didn't open up. Our waiter were on top of everything till we were ready to go. Guy next to us rolled a cigarette and started smoking and I was ready to roll out of there. Took while to get the bill after repeatedly asking for it. Overall, we only scratched the surface and love to come back and spend exploring other items like raw fish platers. Inside!

Good: staff super friendly, accommodating; crispy octopus - easily one of the best octopus dishes…read moreI've ever tried Not so good: the marinated anchovies appetizer is a half-opened tin of anchovies, a few pads of butter, and triangles of white toast, and it's 21EUR; when it arrived, it almost felt like someone was pranking me. It made me feel bad that I was spending so much money on a tin of anchovies. I ate it and didn't complain as that's not in my nature. Charging this much for someone to crack open a tin of fish is wild. It's such a shame about the anchovies, but the crispy octopus was good. Be forewarned when you see "marinated anchovies" on the menu, and just know you're just getting a cracked open tin of anchovies.

He's been in business for 44 years so obviously he knows but still charged us in USD which is kinda shady IMO. We decided to dine here due to all the reviews and photos posted. When we approached the restaurant, the owner immediately said "Ni Hao" which I thought was kinda racist. What if I wasn't Chinese? Mink felt offended but we committed to dining there so we did. He asked if we wanted to dine inside or outside. Since it was chilly for Mink, we opted to dine inside where it was 90% full due to a Chinese tour group. They all had the same dish so we figured preset menu for them. I wasn't sure what I was going to get but since they all ate the Ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese in Crosta, I decided to order that as it was one of the dishes I was considering. Mink ordered their Spaghetti ai frutti di mare. I'm not sure why but the owner exclusively took care of us. He also made it a point to bring a photo over of Jay Chow saying he's dined there 4-5 times in the last few years. Maybe that's why the Chinese tour group eats there? He was arrogant enough to brag about how much money he's made because of Jay Chow. There were lots of celebrities that dined there from what gathered looking at his wall of fame. I bet he didn't charge any of them in USD *smh* The Ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese in Crosta was really good and probably the best we had in Milan. They must be able to make this dish with their eyes closed at this point with the daily Chinese tour groups dining there. Their Spaghetti ai frutti di mare was decent but didn't have as much seafood in the dish as other restaurants and the flavor was about average. The bread and EVOO offered was legit though! I loved it and I normally hardly ever eat the complimentary bread. Food is good overall and customer service felt extra. If we didn't get charged USD, wasn't getting bragged to about how much money he made off Jay Chow and wasn't greeted with a "Ni Hao" then the place is 4 stars. Since all that did happened, 2.5 stars.

Also, there was a bit of a weight when we got there, but it actually grew to almost a dozen people. They see people quickly so the turnover is pretty fast and you don't wait long. Since I was concerned about limited menu, those fears were allayed when the Waiter takes your order - he lets you know about the four or five other ones that are not on the menu that are all sounding great So we picked 'chef special' (they pick for you) and a white pizza. The service was pretty quick, and the pizza comes out right away Obviously with such high turnover, they have figured out the formula for delicious pizza. They nailed the crust as well as all the ingredients. Really delicious. The toilet facilities definitely need a lot of help. That was my only real comment about the atmosphere.
