Thursday of last week, I had decided to potentially dress up for a Halloween Party I was going to…read moreattend on the upcoming Saturday. I had looked places up on Yelp, and I put a few feelers out there, explain what I was looking for and when I would need it by. The first reply I received was from Camelsota about an hour after I messaged the different companies. I was impressed, they were very hands on in helping me accomplish this goal of mine. The company is owned by a Wife (Holly)/Husband (Daniel) Combo and located in the downstairs of their home. I didn't know this when I drove up to their house, thankfully their Logo was on a Van out front. Or I wouldn't have had the balls to walk up to the house. From start to finish, every message I got was clear and concise. The price was reasonable, for how last minute I was planning on this project. It was also done really well, and professional. Holly seemed to be the front-runner of my project. My shirt was freaking awesome, I got a lot of laughs from my friends at the party. I originally wanted a Tank with the words on the front, but Holly told me that they didn't have a Tank in stock, they go to the warehouse once a week, and pick up the materials they need that they don't have on site. So I ended up going with a t-shirt because it was in stock, at their location. I was sent 3 options of the final project to get clarification of what I was wanting before it was printed, which I really appreciated. I made a few changes, and they happily obliged. It was printed, and ready to go by if not before Saturday at 3pm when I picked it up. Like I said earlier the company is at their home located downstairs. I wish they had a walking path down to the downstairs, I felt really bad walking on their grass. Other than the van that was parked in their driveway, there wasn't any other indication that I had arrived at the location. Thankfully they were super friendly, and nice, and I wasn't feeling too shy to walk up to their house. Those two things are the only things I didn't care for, but I can tell you will not stop me from ordering from Camelsota in the future. I'm glad I went through them for my project, and it was really nice seeing the company in what seemed to be the beginning stages of a growing success in my eyes. Thank you again Holly and Daniel for my shirt, and if I have any other ideas, I know I will be coming back to them.

While waiting for family to get off work, I was able to find Quilter's Haven. It's located in a…read morenice area of Rosemount. Husband and I were greeted as soon as we entered the store. The lady was helping another customer, but stated she would assist us as soon as she could. This was fine with me as I would rather browse than be pounced upon. There was a class in session in a small room toward the back. They must have good classes as it looked as the room was filled with women and their sewing machines. There's a fine selection of fabrics on one side of the store,along with the usual notions, rulers, patterns and other supplies. Completed projects were displayed on the walls and throughout the store. Some of the projects had kits available for purchase. I did end up buying a nice holiday runner kit to make when I get home. Various models of Bernina sewing machines displayed for someone looking to purchase a top end machine. As the woman was waiting on me, she was kind enough to give me the name of a special quilt store to visit along our route home. If I lived in this area, I would definitely look into some of the classes offered here.

Don't ever go here for small jobs. Can't speak on large orders. Last summer i contacted the…read moreowner about a small order of 2 Jerseys that i needed for a men's baseball league. He assured me he could do the job, AND have it done in 2 weeks. I brought him the jerseys i needed, he took photos and said they'd be ready in 2 weeks. I also gave a 50% down payment 3 days later i get a phone call asking if i could bring the jerseys back to compare colors, font, size, and placement. At this time he assured me that my jerseys were already in, it was a matter of sewing everything on and that he was still on track with his original promised due date but asked if he could hold on to the sample jerseys. On the day he said they would be done i stopped in to find out that not only were they not done, but my sample jerseys weren't in the store either. I had games that weekend so now i didn't have my old jerseys or the new ones. He promised me they'd be ready by the middle of the next week. Wednesday i stop in and they weren't ready, he just said he has no control of what gets done by the sewing shop... At least he had my old jerseys this time. He assured me they'd be done in a week. A week later i showed up and again nothing. Again, blamed his sewing shop. I asked for for my deposit back and he refused stating that he had already ordered everything ave they were being made. I was Leaving for a 2 week vacation so i told him I'd be back to pick them up when i got back from vacation. As you might guess, nothing. I just ate the deposit. I asked gin to call me when they were finished but i never got a call. In all the trips i heard similar complaints. There was a woman complaining about the fact they had her son's letterman jacket for over a month when they quoted 1 week to see on a patch. Another guy complaining about a hat he ordered 3 weeks earlier that hadn't arrived.

I would like to give this business zero stars but yelp's system wouldn't allow it. This business…read morelied and made promises that were continually not fulfilled. When in fact what I asked of them was extremely basic. If you deal with any schools or organizations that need sports printing or embroidery I would stay far away from this business. They screwed with me for 4 months and I still didn't get it done. I Finally gave up and went elsewhere. So much for giving the local guy your business.

We tried their Christmas decorating class at Angry Inch Brewery in lakeville and had an absolute blast! I have never tried flooding with royal icing before and it was cool to learn the techniques. It's a fun experience and I highly recommend taking a class! She offers different themes through out the year and even private classes.
