Professionalism of the staff & Tailoring: We spent a significant amount of money on suits and were very disappointed with the experience. When we picked up one of the suits after it had been tailored, it was not pressed at all and was extremely wrinkled. When we asked about it, we were told they do not have a machine to press suits--which is hard to believe for a business that specializes in suits, or at the very least doesn't partner with a local cleaner to handle this. What made the situation worse was the staff's attitude. The eye-rolling and dismissive responses when we asked a reasonable question were completely unacceptable. Never been here before was instantly met by Iris. Told her I needed a black suit. She instantly knew my size, just by looking at me. Tried on 3 different kinds of suits and found the one I wanted. Iris was really amazing. Tried on shirts as well. I picked the one I wanted. She looked at the shirt and knew I needed a bit smaller length on the arms. Got home tried on the shirt, fit amazingly. Overall, amazing experience. Didn't use their tailor, but, for a nice suit and shirt, total was around $400. I've had a suit plus tailoring for double that. I will definitely be back. read more

My wife and I came here with her parents to shop for a suit for my father in law. First, the size selection was much better than at other big name stores. Second, Adam (the person that helped us) was amazing. He was very attentive to his needs and wants and repeatedly went looking for more options in his size and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Third, the Taylor (Tony) could not have been nicer. Assuring my father in law throughout the tailoring process. And finally, Fourth, with all of that the suit was incredibly affordable. Much better than the bigger department stores. I went to purchase a suit, checked all the fabrics and materials that was not happy with it, materials were so cheap and I couldn't find any suits to buy. plus, service and the attitude of the salespeople was not that great either. after that I went to downtown, find the suit that I was looking for with good material and good fit and much lower prices. The service was excellent! We went in for a suit and were first met by Adam which did an exceptional job a fitting my BF. He suggested a charcoal colored Suit which looks very nice. Only problem was the pants and shirt was very big but then came Antonio to the rescue! He was so speedy with the tailoring and did such a great job! Both myself and my BF were very impressed with the quality of his work. The pants went from a size 40 to a size 32 and the fit was perfect! As was the shirt! Was needing a new suit for a wedding after losing a few pounds. This place is close by and I wasn't looking to pay top dollar for something I would wear once or twice a year - if that. Walked in and was greeted by a woman that was eating her lunch at the register. I told her what I was looking for and she asked me what my waist size was and directed me to the section. There was a few colors to choose from - all the same styles though. Found some colors I liked and tried them on. The issue I ran into was the slacks fit fine - but the jacket (when buttoned) was just a tad snug. You cant swap the slacks and jackets as they come as a set. So if I got a bigger jacket, the slacks would be too big. I just ended up going with the snug jacket. They offered to get it altered that same day - but I didnt need it for another 3 weeks so I told them to take their time. I went back a week later to pick it up. Staff was good and helpful. Walked in and walked out less than 5 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Seems like they don't want my business coz they just want to chat with each other (I asked question and they just ignore me by chat in Spanish which I don't understand) Then the guy point fingers at the corner tell me kids section is there, he also told me straight up they only have black, white and forgot which other color before I told them what occasion and colors my son needs. I guess they just want us hurry get out there so they can back to their chatting business. I was nice enough, so I told the guy (no need to mention his name) that slowly approached to us he can just let us browse around. This review is for Antonio and only Antonio. ***WARNING*** DO NOT TAKE YOUR DRESSES HERE FOR ALTERATIONS I know their signs promote that they do alterations for men and woman, but i am warning you DO NOT TAKE your dresses to Antonio I am so disappointed and upset with the way my dress came out. I took mine and a friends dress to Antonio on 12/22/2023 who does the alterations and cutting for suits and women's dresses at this location. I told him how I wanted my dress to be cut and altered. When I brought him my dress he made me feel secure by telling me he's been doing alterations and fixing dresses and suits for a long time. Taking him my dress and hoping to get a good experience he advised he will have the dress ready for me by 12/28/2023 and told me he can have it ready within 5 days. Bc the wedding was on December 30th, He called me on 12/27/2023 to inform me my dress was done and so was my friend's dress. He asked me to come in and try on the dress bc he wanted to see the dress on me. I told him that I will have my friend pick up the dress and I will put it on and any issues I will take it back to him bc I work and can't come in before 6:30pm to try on the dress. We agreed and after work I went to my friend's house to try on the dress and that is where my nightmare started. The dress was cut uneven from the bottom like if i had cut it myself with my eyes closed. I called Antonio and told him I was not happy with my dress and all he said was that he can fix it by cutting it out some more. "reminder the dress i am wearing is a long black gown dress." I told him how are you going to make more cuts to the dress when the dress is uneven. He kept insisting to come back and take the dress to him so he can fix what he needed to fix. I told him honestly at this point I don't even want you to ruin it more than what it is. I asked him for my money back $85 and call it a day bc I was just so devastated on the way my dress came out. When I asked him for a refund he refused to give me a refund and said that he will not give me a refund bc per the stores policies there are no refunds. So I told him "How are there no refunds when this is a transaction between you and I? I sent you the money through Zelle the day i dropped off my dress. You told us that day that you work with your own account bc you only assist the owner with the suits" he then proceed to argue with me and said that he can't refund me my money bc he has to run it through the owner of the store for 3 Men's Suits. So I told him ok then give me her number or have her call me so I can talk to her. He refused to give me any information and hangs up on me with no solution on 12/28.. He calls me back 1min after hanging up that he will work with me bc he spoke to the store owner and she said that she would refund me back half of my money but it will take 3-5 business days. I asked him why so long and why only half when I personally Zelled your account not the stores and i'm sure the owner has no idea about this transaction. So again we are back to no resolution. He tells me to go into the store tomorrow morning which is 12/29/2023 at 10:00am and bring in the dress so that he can take a look at it. I go into the store I wait an hour for him to get there and he comes in with an attitude. He starts to bring out his measuring tape and shows me that he cut where I said and the lengths were all correct. I told him Antonio look at the dress, you're gonna tell me that if this dress is put up for promotion as your best work ? you know this dress is bad.. at this point Antonio knows he messed up bad. so he tells me what do you want me to do ? I told him well i want my money back there's no way you can fix this dress. He then tells me I can put the pieces back but it will take me 3 days to fix it. and that's when I lose it. I told him honestly i have no resolution with you give me my money back or i'm going to write my review on yelp and speak to the owner of the store and tell her the person she is advertising did this to my dress. After going back and forth with him he finally Zelle's me back money and has the audacity to tell me to take the dress off and remove his buttons he put on my dress. My dress cost me $300 i'm literally devastated bc of my experience that it's cost me my whole day and money to try to fix the issue. Antonio did not give me a solution nor did he offer to help the only reason he gave me my refund back was bc I told him i was calling the owner. (Which in fact i spoke to and she was very nice to me and actually apologized to me! and she admitted that he had his own account from outside work). I'm honestly not the type of person who likes to complain or write bad reviews to small business owners, but this one really took me out. The time I spent on this and the solution i received was not good enough for me. Four stars based upon availability, customer service, parking and convenience. I needed a suit and stopped by a 3 for suit place off the 60 freeway in Monterey Park. Sadly they had a very small selection for my size. I immediately jumped on YELP and found this Baldwin Park location. There is plenty of parking right outside the store. You are immediately greeted once you enter. Iris attended to me and showed me various suits and provided the prices and availability. She was very informative and attentive. The store itself had a large selection and large availability. I was provided with a suit which needed tailoring. Their in house tailor was readily available to pin up and take out as needed. I went with a classic dark grey which also came with a vest and requested to pick it up in three days. Three days later my suit was ready for pick up. Sadly, my suit was heavily wrinkled. The store clerk advised they didn't have a press and was surprised himself as to why it appeared wrinkled. The suit was tailored and fit well. I did have to take it to get pressed after picking it up. Overall this was a good experience but it was tainted by the suit being wrinkled. Minus one star for the wrinkled suit. read more

Shazam! Abracadabra! I feel like this place should be selling magic tricks instead of suits! Buy two suits for $300.00, but hold on a moment, there's more! Some chef with a ruler comes out and says, "But wait, my friend, you actually need these rags to hang over your bones like a suit and not a garbage bag...how about some tailoring fees?" And there you have it: Just when you think, okay, that's normal they insert a scene from Lethal Weapon and Leo Getz is yelling, "They F you in the drive thru!" Well, they F you out in the open with everyone watching and simply smile. $300.00 for 2 suits + $200.00 tailoring fees = $500.00 (five hundred dollars). Do you think Hugo mentioned this ahead of time to us? Of course not. I've bought suits here in the past so this wasn't my first time, but we didn't pay that much either. Go to Bloomingdales, pick something off the rack, and have a better experience. Was the tailoring good, yes it was. I was at a meeting across the street at the Medical center. When I was about to leave there was a HUGE sign stating suits suits suits. I stopped in and a nice gal with a big smile name Iris helped me out. She first showed me the three suits and colors but I didn't find any I liked. I ended up choosing a nice grey suit size 42 that fit me perfectly. I workout often and my chest size usually makes the suits perk up which I don't like. The suit fit perfectly. I asked many suit questions and Iris was quick to assist me and help me out. There was a sag from the pants but her special tailor was quick to fix it in a couple of days. the suit turn around was 3-4 days. Very fast. I"m very happy about my suit and can't wait to wear it to meetings and business events. my 1 suit was $261 with taxes. read more

They also start speaking in Spanish behind your back about costs and how much to charge you...just fyi, $20 for just a fitting. Saturday January 14th, 2023 I visited to purchase 5 suits. Wow, this place has really gone down hill as far as customer service goes. Associates used to greet you as you walked in. I went towards the cashier and noticed a very tall female cashier wearing a lady marmalade outfit ( really short shorts, stockings and thigh high leather boots). I asked if there were any male employees to help me by my preference. She replied no so I just asked about the 3 suits for $129.00. She replied that they are 180 and stated that the price was listed online as she hurried walked towards another part of the store while YELLING AND Talking fast to me. When she stopped I was able to catch up to me and asked her to show me a few. She reached in to the suits, grabbed two and quickly threw them on a table, while talking loud and fast to me again. As a disabled person that works for city government I wasn't able to catch up to her and I asked her to speak clearer and slower. She instantly had an attitude and started yelling again. I asked her not to yell and she said well you said you couldn't hear me! I decide to go elsewhere to purchase my 5 suits! All the while I could then tell that her attitude started at the door! I understand no one gives it 100% when you work customer service if you don't care about the job, but a little bit of respect and good customer service skills go a long way. She really made me feel uncomfortable. I looked around for a bit and left. Doesn't she work on commission? If so, she lost a sale.
