I had a great experience. I decided to come in on Christmas Eve, since they were pretty much the only bar open in the area. It was a little hectic because it was only 2 people they played both the server and bartender but they did the best they could and I still enjoyed my myself. The ambiance is typical bar and was very busy. We barely could find a seat. The burger was average and so were the cheese sticks. But the drinks were amazing. I tried the green tea and cranberry Tito's. My guest had an old fashion and Jake and coke. They enjoyed their drinks as well. We will be back for sure to try more menu items read more

I've been in a few times and always have a good time. The waitresses are nice, the food is prepared consistently between the three locations, prices are decent and shot pours are generous. Like all Three Nicks', this is a bikini bar. If you're a woman and uncomfortable being around a bunch of old dudes and probably being the only other woman besides the bartender, this isn't the place for you. But don't ogle, don't make it weird and you'll fit right in. This location offers karaoke on certain nights and drink specials during Detroit games. They have an internet jukebox if you wanna take over the music on nights without karaoke. This isn't in my neighborhood but it's a great place to stop in when I'm downriver. read more

I have been eating at 3 Nicks for a couple of years now. Hubby, I and friends eat there at least once a week. 3 Nicks had an amazing cook and she left for bigger opportunities. Nick should have paid her more. Since she left they have ran out of food on the menu and specials. Last week they ran out of Chicken Parm (special) and ran out of spaghetti sauce but still sold it at normal price. We took it to go and was so disappointed when we sat down at home to eat. Tonight this is how my Nachos came out. Looks like a plate of blood. Barmaid tried to make it right. She gave me a little bit of lettuce to add to it. I drained at least 1 1/2 cup of liquid off of it and it still was unappetizing. Cook was gracious to give me a discount on my horrible disgusting dinner of about 12%. Wait, I'm not done. 3 Nicks signature Hot chicken sandwich, they had no chicken. What! What! NICK! Probably doesn't matter to you but we are going to go elsewhere. This used to be my "go to" bar. Not sure why Bre and Nick were in such a bad mood tonight. Won money on Keno and was told Nick was already gone for the night with the lottery money and come back another day. When inquiring on why and when we could come back, magically, Nick show up and kicked us out of the bar. Wouldn't let us pay our tab (it was only $15 because we already cashed out previously). If they would have just been civil with us and told us that they already closed on the lottery or that they didn't have the cash on hand, that would have been understanding. I would have came back, no problem. They handled the situation all wrong. Unfortunately they lost a very loyal customer. I'll be contacting the Michigan Lottery Monday morning to file a formal complaint. read more

Just ordered a club sandwich through Uber. It was a mess. Bread wasn't toasted, not cut into 4's, and drowning in mayonnaise. Bread is so soggy, it's inedible. Fries are ice cold and soaking in grease. read more

This place is as crooked as they come. These average at best women think they can be rude because they are in bikinis in dim lighting. Also, they let underage kids come in there and drink and play pool without checking ID. Furthermore, domestic pints are $1.75 on Thursday, but I was charged $2 per pint. An order of wings+fries is $9.99, but she charged me $15.99 for a full plate of wings and $4 for a side order of fries instead. This was done intentionally, so I subtracted it from her tip. I went to watch the MSU game and was told that if I'm standing while people are coming in, she will give up my seat at the bar. Awful bar. Awful people. Stay away. read more

It all began with the $3 - 32 oz. mugs of Coor's Light. I don't know what the current charge per drink is these days, but I know it can't be beat. The servers are the best at their craft, and I feel so spoiled that I actually get a tiiiiiiny bit annoyed when I have to ask for my next drink. That's how good they are here. Good place to go if you drink the normal beers (Bud, Miller, Coors, etc.) However if you're into the craft beers and imports you're better off looking elsewhere. They keep these prices abnormally high so they can charge less for the normal fare. Not fair for the craft beer drinkers but great for cheap beer lovers! read more

The trade-off in quality is usually great prices when you go to a dive bar. This was not the case. My friend and I used to go to the location in Dearborn about 10 years ago and always got a lot of food for a really great price so we kind of expected that it was the same at this location. Not sure if it's just changed at all the locations or if something unique is going on at the Southgate location. They did have a special that day, spaghetti for $1.29 but that didn't appeal to me. Just wanted a dive burger and fries for a great price...paid about $7/person plus normal price for sides and drinks. $40 for 2 plus tip by the time we left. Could've had a better quality meal elsewhere for that price. Big ladies, use the bathroom before you get here. This was the tiniest bathroom I've ever been in. One of the stall doors opens only about 12 inches. The other wasn't much better. Hard to believe this is to code. read more

The DJ was playing some good hits, the crowd was lively and not *quite* as douche-y as I expected, and the waitresses were cordial and competent, especially considering the place was packed. I've probably driven by this place hundreds if not thousands of times during my comings and goings around Downriver, but I don't think I've ever really been in here. I heard they had great bar burgers, but never really made it in. What DID bring me in is they had the last UFC fights on... with no cover. How cool is that? And what a smart business move. People were packed in there and having a blast. Lively as hell and a fun crowd. I magically got a parking place right by the back door and as I was there solo there was also magically one seat waiting for me at the bar. Good omens all around. Very attentive and friendly bartenders and good prices on drinks and food. The waitresses are all very cute and wear kind of a modified Footlocker-type referee uniform but with short shorts and plunging necklines. Works for me. Seems like there are a lot of regulars there, but they were really friendly and I think adopted me after like 3 hours of watching fights! I would definitely swing by here next time I'm driving by and I'll probably try the burger! read more

The service was fast and comforting, the music is decent and the environment is fairly clean. It is a tad small and closed in but its good for grabbing a drink with a buddy. We have visited here twice in the last month after driving past it so many times. The video sign on top of the building advertising the girls was a turn off. However the waitresses and bartenders are very attentive to the customers. Food menu is better than your typical bar food. I love this place! The drink specials are great, great music and dj on Fridays (that's the only day I go), good crowd, good lighting but small in the inside and limited parking (you might have to park on the residential street). But I just can't get enough. The waitresses are nice, shot girls are great (sometimes a little slow but friendly and helpful). You can literally get a great buzz going off $10 or less if you are a lady. This is just a great local bar with pretty good bar food as well. Try and get there early to get a table. Usually we get there by 10pm and always find a table. Nice cheap place to hang out with friends and even make new ones. This place is a true gem. read more

Bin some time since having the lake perch dinner and memory came back fast with the great smell of the carry-out when it filled the car. The portion was large and filling and being a 240 lbs was more than happy, and perfectly cooked with great taste I'll waste know time telling my family and friends how happy I was and at $17.60 for two perch dinner I'll make sure to make up for the cheap tip I left her. What can I say... If you are not found of smoke I would not advise going. The smoke is always soooo bad at this place. Was just there again last week and could only stay for about a half hour before my eyes started watering from all that smoke. With that being said I went there knowing this because I love the prices on all their burgers and fries. $1 burgers & $1 fries all day and every day! Plus they taste GREAT! I stop by regularly and the staff is always friendly, the food is good and specials vary by day. Prices are reasonable ! The jukebox seems to be always going and the staff throw in other activities on nights! They have party bus rides to Tiger games, shot girls on the weekends, karaoke Wednesdays, pool specials, as well as hosting trivia nights ! This place is really hit or miss. The food prices are really cheap and sometimes you get what you pay for. Other times you can luck out and get a decent burger. My friends like going there for the $ spaghetti. The can have some pretty hot bikini girls working there sometimes, plus the beer prices are decent and the beer is always cold. There can be some good people watching at times too, seems like some of Downriver's finest citizens frequent this place especially for UFC fights. read more

I went into the tap room for tuesday night karaoke, this was the worse Karaoke i've ever been to. From 9pm till 1130 pm i sang two songs, the place was empty perhaps 4 or 5 singers total. The host played head banging music for 15 minutes in between each singer, but sang about 5 songs himself while his guests sang 2. The PA was not mixed well. And overall if you are looking for Karaoke i would not recommend this place. read more
