Cuz of the reviews I really didn't want to come here but I'm glad I did. I would go back again. Pizza was really good (had a ton of cheese). They made it pretty much right in front of you. The "pizza guy" was really good and very informative! He was cool! Met the band of who we saw that night there. Now the 2nd waitress (cuz we were there for a bit) wasn't as good at all. It's the perfect place to start off the football season. You will find nothing but lions fans here. It's a great when the Cowboys lose and the Lions win. I lost count of the TVs here. No way you can miss a play here. Drinks are great but please try their oven pepperoni pizza. Seriously convinced this is the best pizza in town. It's differently so good and it's really tasty. I will be coming here every other weekend. It's always a fun crowd here there is karaoke and never a dull moment. The wait staff will always keep you entertained. Saw a video clip of someone doing an interview for this place and its new owner. Decided to try regardless of a few negative reviews I started to read. So happy my husband and I did. They were open today, New Year's Day. Alissa took care of us, 10 out of 10!, she's friendly, informative and attentive! This is nothing like the old sports. So I won't even try to compare them. The interior looks very new and kinds cool. There are plenty of TV's and music playing. The menu is just a sheet of paper which doesn't match the interior vibe. But is also nice that it can be updated easily. So hopefully they always have up to date menus. The beer selection and bar area was quite impressive. The food selection seemed reasonable. While not quite artisan, it all looked pretty good. We tried two pizzas and enjoyed them. The prices were a bit high but I haven't been out much since covid to compare. We paid $6 (avg) for a draft and $6 (high) for a can. The pizza was half off (Monday special) making them a bargain. Normally they are between $11-14. They are slightly bigger then a personal size 8in. Maybe 1 could feed 2 people but you might need an app. To compare. A dominos medium is 12in. I'd call fair value about $1.25 per inch, so the half off deal is awesome. Our tab for 2 people was still $31 out the door. Didn't check the bathrooms. The areas for improvement. Speed/service. We ordered within the first 10 min. There were probably 3 or 4 tables. So no more then half full. Food took about a half hour from the order time (slightly long) even for hand made pizzas. When we finished it took 5 min to get the box and another 10 min to get the bill after. And the bill had mistakes. Our server questioned what we said a few times while ordering so it was too loud or maybe it was harder to hear with the airpod in her ear. I also can mumble at times but I don't believe that was the issue here. This was definitely a negative at the beginning and the end. So I am hopeful that these are easy issues to improve upon, and would be interested in trying again eventually. But I'm going to give it some time to hopefully iron out the details and hopefully see some improvement in the reviews. read more

Maple street tavern which it's called now. First I've never been to a place where they give you foam cups instead of glasses. $20 for five little steak bites with no flavor at all. Service was horrible. One person in our group didn't get their food until everyon else was done with their meals. Had to ask multiple times where their food was. I asked about one of the specials and the waitress said "I have no idea" didn't even bother to find out for me. Another person didn't get their soup until they were done with their main dish. Well. The food looks good. But we've been here waiting at a table for service and got nothing so far. Edited to add: They have been open less than a week I believe, The wait staff seems to be all new, and not really sure what they are doing. In a full restaurant, we walked in, were told to seat ourselves and waited 15 minutes before I could stop one of the 7 waitresses that kept walking past me. The "30" drafts beers were written down, and Oh, just my luck that the one I want- they are out of. The food looked good, the pizzas looked so damn tiny tho. But sadly, we didnt get a chance to order as the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps we'll go again, not on a friday, after theyve worked out some kinks. After getting our drinks, which were the only good part of our meal, we got the "wrap" and "hand dipped" chicken tenders shown in the pictures. The chicken tenders were basically (still) frozen and most definitely not hand dipped. The plates were hot so the food was definitely sitting in the window for a long time. The wrap was almost entirely lettuce and had no caesar dressing in it. The ranch we got for the chicken tenders was "found" in the fridge and god knows how long it was in there. Everything was bland, I wish this place would use their insanely overpriced menu options to invest in some seasoning for their below average food. The two hour ordeal of eating here was most definitely not worth it. read more

Bar has a nice vibe to it. The pizza was good. The jumping jack shrimp was not. Literally no seasoning on it and it's not breaded so it was just warmed up, plain shrimp for $10. All the food and drinks were good expect the dessert. Dumbo ears was the most disappointing thing I've ever had. It's not at all an elephant ear and tasted really doughy. They tried to substitute by adding regular sugar and powered sugar to make it taste better. -3/10 for the dessert but the establishment overall was very good read more

Love this place! Been keeping an eye on it through the windows while they did the remodel. Place looks great, pizza is really good and a good beer selection. Only place downtown with a shuffleboard table too. We came in opening night and this is our third trip back since. Haven't had a bad experience yet. read more
