I tried a grand dog and portobello mushroom fingerlings. The fried mushrooms were delicious. The hot dog was disappointing. It tastes good but was soggy and falling apart. I don't understand why they would have such a great tasting item and not toast the bun so it doesn't literally fall apart in your hand. Customer service was excellent. read more

This bar is pretty cool, it isn't too expensive, the drinks are about average price and so is the food. It's a little dark in there but I don't mind that type of vibe. This place is awesome! My girls and I always look for places that have a soft pretzel and outdoor seating. Grand Dads fit both criteria and was great to boot. It's a seat yourself bar so we snagged a table outside. It was crazy busy but all the waitresses were hustling and just after we sat down we were waited on. I asked the waitress what her favorite cocktails were (I don't know who wouldn't - the staff always knows best) and she directed me to the Fine'apple Mojito, Mad Love or the Magic Dragon. All sounded good but since it was hot and we were outside I went the mojito. We also ordered a pretzel and golden fries. The food came out crazy fast and by the time I got a picture the pretzel was half gone. Clearly we had to order another. The girls put the pretzel in with our top ranking and both liked the cheese sauce which was unheard of. The fries were crispy and so good as well. My drink was amazing - refreshing not too sweet. This is an awesome local bar. The staff there is very friendly, Alex, is the bomb. They have a wide assortment of signature cocktails, beer and mules. I tried to taste every signature cocktails that they had. Parking here is easy, especially at night. They had tons of free street parking around the bar. But I believe other is a 2 -hour limit though. They also have awesome food. I had one of their pretzels, some spicy fries and their spicy chili wings. They both had a little kick to them but nothing overwhelming. The bars has a very chill atmosphere with dim lighting a few televisions over the bar area and music playing. It is a very clean bar and trendy. They also have a patio area out front that I am sure is hopping when the weather is good. I really enjoy this bar and have been there a few times now. There's only so much that you can do during COVID. Grand Dad's had a good menu with happy hour snacks we chose from. Appetizers and stuff. We had a few beers. They had a limited selection because some of the taps were frozen. That was unfortunate because the frozen ones were the ones I would have enjoyed. It was incredibly cold outside but they set up a mini propane heater for us which made it reasonable with full winter attire. 4 beers, one snack and one sandwich with tip was just under $40. Said I don't really want french fries I'll take the onion rings assuming there was a small up charge for onion rings, because nothing else was said or present it to us.
