3 Parks Wine Shop Old Fourth Ward! I finally got to try out the new Atlanta beltline location (twice at the time of this review). I typically go to the Glenwood Park location but have been wanting to check out their new spot. It did not disappoint. It is a beautiful addition to that area. The wine selection is vast and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Each day they do a tasting flight for $25 or you can purchase a bottle(s) of wine and sit outside of the establishment and enjoy it, if you so choose, while people watching or hanging out with friends/family/date. I truly love that this option is available. There is ample street parking nearby or they validate parking in the adjacent garage. If you haven't been yet you're missing out! So, next time you're wine shopping, in O4W, on the beltline, give them a try!

Amazing shop, looking for a sweet wine, I told them this and they gave me information and pointed me towards this wine (see photo). The ladies in here are nice and welcoming. Will be back especially for the wine tasting on Wednesdays.

Visited here in early afternoon before heading to dinner. The weather was nice so we sat on the patio and people watched. The staff was really nice and I was grateful they had a restroom for patrons. I do wish they had more snack options for those who want to nibble As they sip but we made it work and all in all had a great experience.

    Really good Riesling!

I came in here looking for Aslina wines since the winemaker visited the store recently but they were pretty much sold out of the wines I prefer so I decided to pick up something else. I prefer to purchase wines from wine shops vs a grocery store because most are made in small batches and the flavors taste better. I feel exclusive too that I'm tasting something that's made in low quantities or it's not as popular. Anywho, Riesling typically doesn't steer me wrong and the associate said it's one of their most popular rieslings so I gave it a try. It didn't disappoint. Im glad I went with this. The staff was helpful. Parking is in the garage if you're unable to find street parking. And it's conveniently located off of I-20 near Glenwood Ave near the Kroger.

I'm a wine lover, and 3 Parks Wine Shop has a great selection and knowledgeable staff. I like trying new wines, and the service, variety, and the ability of staff to make recommendations is what I find at 3 Parks, and this is what sets it apart- I'm often unable to get these things at your average spirits store. I also recently joined their wine club, and have been enjoying the monthly picks. If you're looking for an in town wine shop, 3 Parks is your place.

Wine down Wednesday with the girls here was lovely! Although small, this wine shop definitely had a big presence in the neighborhood. A group of us did the $10 wine tasting, with a very knowledgeable host they have serving the wine and I must say we really enjoyed ourselves. The entire staff was super nice from the moment we arrived, to even giving us a free bottle for us to finish to celebrate the birthday girl. Would definitely recommend, and will be returning for the new week of flavors.

I was super excited to get here on Wednesday for the wine tasting. This place has been on my bucket list pre-covid. Upon arrival I soon noticed the seating is limited. There are approximately six table that adorn the outside of the shop. Seating is on a first come basis. The company offers wine tasting on the weekend as well, Friday - Sunday. These's a wine connoisseur on the premisses who pours the drinks and educates the consumers on the featured wines. For the reason I sat next to him I begin to notice the education was bias. Some got a in depth education about the wines while others were given the basics. If you're not there for the education you probably wouldn't care, but I did. The price of the tasting is $10 for a pouring of about 3-4 sips of 4 different wines. I was really disappointed with my pour as I noticed other's sampling were more generous. My experience didn't match up to my expectation. I was rather disappointed when I left the shop. Being that my review/experience is based on my interaction with the guy hired to pour and discuss the wine, I'm going to give them another try.

I've stopped in 3 Parks a number of times. Each time I'm greeted by a warm smile and knowledgeable but not pushy employees! This business is owned by a woman as well which I love to support. The wine shop is in glen wood within walking distance of a few faves(gun show and the shed). They have interesting bottles at all price ranges as well as easy fun items(canned wine, standard and mini champagne bottles) if you need to run in and grab something safe for an event. If you have more time they also have tastings with sizable pours for $15. I enjoyed a great Bordeaux and another red and a chenin blanc. They also sell wine accessories and wine growlers! Definitely give this place a try.

They had it!! Only about 2 cases left as of last Saturday!

THEY HAD 40 oz ROSE!!!!! I had been lurking on their IG for quite a while now but when they posted that they had the 40oz rose in, I HAD to get over there. I have to admit my visit was short so I don't have a whole lot to say but the service was great during my short visit. I was greeted immediately, the young woman helped me carry my wine and even offered to grab me a chilled bottle. Parking was surprisingly very easy in the area so I was in and out in a breeze. Best part of the visit, they have some sort of rewards program! I forgot exactly what it is (no I wasn't already wine drunk) but I do remember signing up with my phone number. Any wine purchases including rewards is a win/win for me!!! I'll come back and let y'all know what the program is after my next visit! Haha my excuse to go back ;)

Love this place! Fellas please take your lady on a date here. The neighborhood alone it dope. Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a "lady friend " . I am trying to get into wine so the wine shop staff was very friendly and informative. They made me feel very comfortable. Although it was a little humid out side, it was dope to sit out side and do the wine tasting of 3 wines. Definitely going back. Wine tasting were only $15 per person. Great deal!

The shop is small but cozy - but we loved the outdoor seating the most, especially on a warm fall day in Atlanta, since it's dog friendly. They offer full pours or various wine flight options found on their educational tasting flights menu. I decided to try the Pet Nat What, which offers 3 3oz pours for $15. The flight comes in branded Vin ATL glasses and a cute wooden flight board that makes it easy to carry yourself. And if you like any of the 3, you can also opt for a full pour, which has the pricing listed next to it. My favorite was the Heaps Offshoot, a Blaufränkisch, which I've never tried before. Nearly all their wines are organically or sustainably farmed. I love that the menu also provides recommendations for how you can enjoy the wine - with what dish, chilled or room temp, etc. We will definitely be back, although maybe once the weather heats up a little bit, because this impending snowy weather in Atlanta is no joke! Although maybe it would be an even better idea to pick up a bottle of wine ASAP before the snowstorm hits!

Side Saddle Wine Saloon & Bar - GB Garden - unique tomato water martini

Side Saddle plays to its strengths and coasts on the rest: inventive, genuinely fun drinks (some land, some don't) and food that's perfectly serviceable but not why you'd come. My friend and I stopped in on a Monday night for a quick drink and bite before a concert. My friend lives nearby, but I had never been. It's a newer spot close to the zoo, right on the Beltline and attached to an apartment complex (you can even order food to the pool). Seating is primarily outdoor with a limited indoor section that's mostly high tops, so better suited to a pair or small group than a big crew. It was a hot day, so we grabbed seats at the bar inside. Service was so, so kind, and I really can't say enough about how warm and attentive our bartender was. The bathroom was also spotless, and there's a play area next to outdoor seating, so this would actually be a solid hangout spot if you're bringing kids along. The drink menu is where this place really shines. My friend ordered the Smoke Show, which uses something called corn milk (totally dairy-free) and turns into a smoky mezcal drink that was easily our favorite of the night. I got the GB Garden, a martini-style pour with a mignonette gin and tomato-water. The punchiness of the mignonette gin came through very strongly and kind of steamrolled the tomato water, but it was still fun, savory, and unique. My friend also vouched for the wine list from previous visits, though we didn't drink any this time. Pricing feels really reasonable for Atlanta: classic cocktails are $10 during the (very generous) happy hour, and neither of our signature cocktails was more than $16. For food we split two of the dips on the bartender's recommendation: the herby goat cheese and the eggplant, both served with crudité, a lavash-style cracker, and thinly sliced focaccia. Dips are around $7 each with a discount if you get a trio. My friend had tried a few other things on other visits and said they were serviceable but not memorable. Fine as a light snacky meal, but nothing I'd cross town for. Parking is free in the attached lot, though there isn't a ton of it. Great neighborhood spot for locals. I wouldn't drive across the city for it, but I'd absolutely come back if I'm in the area.

This little establishment sits along side Finca along the SE beltline. You can see it when on the…read morepath. It is closer to Boulevard Se than it is to United Ave. Most tables are outside, great for a fall or spring day but might be too hot for the height of summer despite the fans and shade provided by umbrellas or tarps. Overall, nice ambience/atmosphere. The day we went, it was busy at about 10-ish but there were still a lot of tables available. We found our table facing the path to people watch. Loved the vibe. The menu isn't big, which was good cos I rather they focus on those and be good at it than be half-half about every item on their menus. I had the Shrimp & Grits and my husband ordered The Fulton which was a lightly toasted focaccia sandwich. The table behind us ordered the same before us plus another sandwich. FYI, food orders come out of the Finca kitchen. Our server was friendly and quick. He soon brought us our coffees and my cappuccino was good, not too hot and strong. My husband's was meh. Had that sour after-taste of air-dried beans. Everything was fine except.... We waited about 20mins and 2 plates of grits were served, one for the table behind us and one was for me. I waited for my husband's sandwich to come, I must have waited for about another 15mins when the table behind us asked their server to check on their outstanding orders as it was taking quite a long time. She too was waiting for her friends' sandwiches to arrive so she could start on her grits. The wait continues. Meanwhile I had by this time, waited for about 30mins now and my grits were getting a little cooler and decided to start. Our server came to check on us and I too asked him about the sandwich and he went in to check. What I saw in the next 5mins were all the sandwiches being brought out of the kitchen all at the same time. The table behind us could finally start on their breakfast and we finally did get our sandwich when my grits were all done. That's ridiculous! Why the kitchen churn out orders by similarities instead of by table baffles me. Isn't table turnaround key to a business? The longer one holds a table, the lesser that table makes money throughout the day. Plus it just pisses off their customers for staggering their food. Should every table just order the same sandwich so that they can all eat together? Please fix this issue. Slow table turnaround means fewer times that same table makes money for the establishment. And if customers have to wait 20-30minutes for their friends' orders before they can start on their cold food, then, they might not want to go there anymore.
