Unrelated to wine: the other little knick-knacks they have for sale are CUTE and they somehow fit with the overall store so well. 3 Parks Wine Shop Old Fourth Ward! I finally got to try out the new Atlanta beltline location (twice at the time of this review). I typically go to the Glenwood Park location but have been wanting to check out their new spot. It did not disappoint. It is a beautiful addition to that area. The wine selection is vast and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Each day they do a tasting flight for $25 or you can purchase a bottle(s) of wine and sit outside of the establishment and enjoy it, if you so choose, while people watching or hanging out with friends/family/date. I truly love that this option is available. There is ample street parking nearby or they validate parking in the adjacent garage. If you haven't been yet you're missing out! We traded experiences in our favorite vineyards in Napa. However, one thing to note is the less-than-hospitable server Britney, who was mean and hostile. I inquired further into the different types of soils and their direct correlation to the fruits, Britney bitterly lectured me that "I was wrong." Lol excuse me? When I told Britney that I did not quite like the second pour--leathery red on a warm sunny day--Britney informed me that she did not care lol ok girl. I refuse to let her ruin my experience. This the best kept secret for people like me on the other side of Atlanta. I walked in here after walking the belt line and visiting PCM, It is inviting inside and out. They have fantastic wine clubs and rare wines as well. They offer plenty of education and tastings for anyone willing to learn more. It is Black, female owned which is cool. It's a space that we don't occupy often enough. I love a great pinot noir, rose or dry white wine. They validate parking as well. It's clean and open interior wise. The Wednesday and weekend wine tastings are such a fun opportunity. I came in here looking for Aslina wines since the winemaker visited the store recently but they were pretty much sold out of the wines I prefer so I decided to pick up something else. I prefer to purchase wines from wine shops vs a grocery store because most are made in small batches and the flavors taste better. I feel exclusive too that I'm tasting something that's made in low quantities or it's not as popular. Anywho, Riesling typically doesn't steer me wrong and the associate said it's one of their most popular rieslings so I gave it a try. It didn't disappoint. Im glad I went with this. Wine down Wednesday with the girls here was lovely! Although small, this wine shop definitely had a big presence in the neighborhood. A group of us did the $10 wine tasting, with a very knowledgeable host they have serving the wine and I must say we really enjoyed ourselves. The entire staff was super nice from the moment we arrived, to even giving us a free bottle for us to finish to celebrate the birthday girl. I decided to finally come check out this wine shop that's near me and is a black-owned wine shop. I found it on Instagram, but I was concerned about parking since it kinds of sucks in the Glenwood Park area. But I called them and found out there is parking in a nearby apartment complex building, so I was excited to get there. They have wine tastings on Wednesday nights for $10-$15 for 4 wines. This is a neighborhood wine shop and the regulars pay for their tasting, get a seat outside at one of the tables near the sidewalk and people watch while sipping wine. There are snacks available for purchase, which makes the wine enjoyment even better. The wine shop itself has a great selection of various wines, including unique wine selections. I was super excited to get here on Wednesday for the wine tasting. This place has been on my bucket list pre-covid. Upon arrival I soon noticed the seating is limited. There are approximately six table that adorn the outside of the shop. Seating is on a first come basis. The company offers wine tasting on the weekend as well, Friday - Sunday. These's a wine connoisseur on the premisses who pours the drinks and educates the consumers on the featured wines. For the reason I sat next to him I begin to notice the education was bias. Some got a in depth education about the wines while others were given the basics. If you're not there for the education you probably wouldn't care, but I did. The price of the tasting is $10 for a pouring of about 3-4 sips of 4 different wines. I was really disappointed with my pour as I noticed other's sampling were more generous. My experience didn't match up to my expectation. I was rather disappointed when I left the shop. Being that my review/experience is based on my interaction with the guy hired to pour and discuss the wine, I'm going to give them another try. read more

I've stopped in 3 Parks a number of times. Each time I'm greeted by a warm smile and knowledgeable but not pushy employees! This business is owned by a woman as well which I love to support. The wine shop is in glen wood within walking distance of a few faves(gun show and the shed).They have interesting bottles at all price ranges as well as easy fun items(canned wine, standard and mini champagne bottles) if you need to run in and grab something safe for an event. If you have more time they also have tastings with sizable pours for $15. I enjoyed a great Bordeaux and another red and a chenin blanc. They also sell wine accessories and wine growlers! THEY HAD 40 oz ROSE!!!!! I had been lurking on their IG for quite a while now but when they posted that they had the 40oz rose in, I HAD to get over there. I have to admit my visit was short so I don't have a whole lot to say but the service was great during my short visit. I was greeted immediately, the young woman helped me carry my wine and even offered to grab me a chilled bottle. Parking was surprisingly very easy in the area so I was in and out in a breeze. I stopped here abruptly for some wine on the way to my parents' house. I was hoping to grab a nice red blend and to my surprise they actually just got in the the McBride Sister's Black Girl Magic Collection. I was super excited that the associate even knew what I was talking about. I got a bottle of the Black Girl Magic Red Blend and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I am assuming the setup outside the store is for Covid precautions. All the associates wear masks and gloves. Outside the store there are tables manned by an associate to help customers. I did not see any customers inside the store. The associates are very knowledgeable of the selections that they carry. They have street parking available but it was full so I parked in the parking deck behind the building. read more

What a cute little wine shop! I stopped in last Friday in an effort to avoid the Kroger panic buying crowd and I'm so glad I did. I had been wanting to check this place out for a while. I live right down the street but just hadn't stopped in. I was worried it would be mostly high priced wines, but that is definitely not the case. They have options for every price point. The shop is small and wines are divided up by region, with a separate section for organic wines. There are lots of options but it is not overwhelming. I perused a bit and ended up with a $15 pinot. I picked based on the label, which I always do; but one day when I know more about wine that may change. Speaking of, 3 Parks offers Wednesday night wine tastings, which I will definitely be checking out and they also offer a rotating 6 bottles for $60 deal. Another thing I was impressed by, is that they track your purchases by phone number (if you opt in) and they offer a 10% discount after a certain number of purchases. 3 parks also has a small selection of cheeses and little snacky things that you could pair with wine. The intent of this review is to speak to the amazing customer service that I received while visiting 3 Parks for the first time. I called 3 Parks Wine Shop to ask to have a couple of limited supply 40 ounce bottles of Rose' placed on hold for me to pick up the following day. I spoke with Sarah on the phone who kindly took down my information and secured two bottles for me. When I arrived the very next day there was exactly one bottle of this limited supply 40 Rose' left on the shelf, in addition to the two that Sarah kindly put away for me. She could have sold them! They were limited supply! I appreciate the fact that they were still there, she sold me all three, and I was even given the option to have one gift wrapped in a cute brown 3 parks stamped bag with red tissue paper. My inner wino was quickly activated which meshed well with Sarah because she was literally a wine guru. She has a genuine passion for sharing her knowledge about wine and pairings. She recommended a lovely Pinot Noir from Smith Perry Oregon and Tempranillo along with pairing info for them. Sarah was truly a pleasure to shop with. Definitely check this shop out. Its extremely easy to access from I20 and parking is seamless either on the street on in a covered garage less than a block away. Oh and follow them on IG. I've waited for this shop to open for a long, long time. I live in the neighborhood and, at the moment, we have more Real Housewives of Atlanta than we do lifestyle services. Sure, you can grab a drink at Vickery's and get take-out Mexican but the area lacks a bodega/grocery outlet or real retail. 3 Parks Wine contributes to livability of the area a great deal by offering affordable wines with a local focus. It's an intimate space; not a chain warehouse environment at all. When I walked in I was greeted and helped immediately. The owner is knowledgeable and not at all pretentious. I led with my standard, "I'm a poor graduate student..." schtick and not a note of condescension was detected. I had my eye on a reasonable Rioja ($15) and he actually suggested a LESS EXPENSIVE Spanish red. I am still buzzing from that little customer service high. You'll find a full selection of affordable, quality wines -- many of them local and/or organic. They are organized logically -- from heavy reds to the lightest whites -- clockwise around the store and priced, literally, bottom up from low to high. Perfect. I really hope the neighborhood embraces this venture and that the owner opens his doors to the neighborhood (tastings, sidewalk summer fetes?). Like every other reviewer has relayed, this is such a great place. I love coming here and I always try to come here to purchase wine to support local black businesses. I love that I am able to call in an order and do curbside pick up. The team is knowledgeable about wine. I was able to find a comparable brand to a specific sparkling moscato that I liked and it is now my go to. I believe that the prices are fair and reasonable. Over the summer, they had a Rose package that was seriously the best thing ever. With the package, I discovered that I liked Rose. Definitely love this place! read more

This wine shop is soooo cute! It also is perfectly located below my house which makes it even cuter. They have the best associates who are very knowledgeable. So, I visited this shop about 3 months ago when we first moved into our new place. We were instantly greeted and not too sure what we wanted, but were helped by the owner to find our favorite. We were then added to their email list and have tried to visit at least every other week. We stopped in on another occasion after brunch on a Saturday and enjoyed $5 flights. We were able to sit outside at the cute table and get some gorgeous pics in as well. We ended up purchasing a bottle to go of the two birds one stone wine. It was a white that went well with our fish tacos! Our most recent visit was on a Sunday, YES! They are open on Sunday. We were greeted per usual and began browsing. We are having fish AGAIN so we went for champagne this time. We found a great bottle that was listed as a fave for only $10.99. All of the wines here are very good prices and they taste great. We have had some of the lower costs that we liked more than the more expensive ones. They have something for everyone literally. We love this wine shop and are planning on making it to one of the wine tasting classes they host on Wednesday's.
