My AES Power meter pole ripped off of my house during a storm. Turns out the contractor that installed it years ago, did so incorrectly. The height, the materials, and the wall anchoring were not to the electric company's standards. So, it failed. Luckily, we did not lose power, or have the power line sparking on wood fences and cars. Tim, from IWE Electrical Service, came out and pointed out all the problems with the old install. Then, he corrected those problems in the way a licensed electrician should.

So from the start, I was really excited because the person I had spoken with seemed to be very level headed and business oriented... Only to arrive home feeling COMPLETELY deflated. I requested a "move-in" clean. I advised that the townhome had been unoccupied for a few years. I advised that our things were in the home but I needed a good once over before I felt comfortable putting things away... I can say FOR SURE two things were done that are listed on the contract... The toilets were gross from hard water and they were sparkling clean after. My oldest child's bathroom was clean, floors clearly mopped... Cabinets... ummm... and then I went to warm up take out for my son... VERY communal microwave in the office. My tub.. nope. Vents dusted, (even though they are sited in the quote)... Nope. Doors wiped down? You guessed it... NOPE. Despite how upset I was I tried nicely to convey that the invoice needed adjustment. I was met with begging to come play around in my home (no thanks), then gaslighted to try to believe that I can't read or see either. THEN LEGIT arguing with this lady about messaging me at odd hours of the night. The most basic understanding of consumer law states that even collection agencies can only correspond during certain hours. Only for me today to decide that it's not worth the wasted energy... Only for I guess her to pretend the interaction didn't happen yesterday??? This is truly the strangest, most disappointing interaction with a small business owner I have EVER had. She made very strange and incorrect statements about my financial status ASSUMING I would not be able to cover the bill, my knowledge of business practices, education level and... HEAVENS! I had requested service from another company who promised me for 2 weeks they would come out and then never came. I called Frye on Tuesday and they told me they would be here today and would call before they came. Brayden called and arrived as expected and went right to work. My issue was a bit of a mess but he figured it out, fixed it and gave me a quote to come back and solve something else that attributed to my original issue. Knowledgeable, polite, friendly and proficient. I am going to hire them again to fix the issue they identified and I will 100% call them for anything else I might need in the future.

The furnace tech diagnosed the furnace as needing at least a new control board and couldn't be sure other parts weren't bad. The furnace was full of ice. Based on the price of the potential repairs, it made more sense to replace the furnace. The installers arrived first thing the next morning and we had heat around lunch time. Everyone from Chapman was clean, courteous and did great work. It wasn't cheap for any of this, but we feel that the prices were reasonable, especially since we were 100% done the very next day.
