Lack of communication was EXTREMELY poor and they charged us over $2,000 to install a transmission. They knew we were desperate and needed to leave the area. The lady working in the office left us hanging and then when we did get a hold of her she acted like she cared .... Ha!!! They ripped us off by overcharging us and did a piss poor job of mounting the hardware and wires (which we didn't find out until months later FRANKS TRUCK & AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR IS A RIPOFF!!!! And should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of someone in desperate need. Don't waste your money on this business as they are NOT honest nor trustworthy.

A couple days later I received a request for my address. I provided and received no response following that. Waited a little longer and asked if this was a project they were currently capable of handling and received no response. Went to the location in person and was greeted with a less than enthusiastic owner/manager who basically said he was too busy to respond to my messages and basically couldn't do the work. I've done several restorations and dealt with multiple body shops over the years. If this is the kind of communication that precedes giving them any money for work...typically the communication gets worse once they have some or all of your money. Glad I went in person to learn the ground truth about the operation. There were some nice projects going on so I really can't speak to the quality of work, however the operations management and communication leave a lot to be desired...at least from the perspective of a potential customer. Seems like they need an operations and/or business manager. Will go with Southern Classics, Huber Collision, or Classic Car Center and hope for better results.

Extremely disappointed with the repair experience at Crash Champions Stafford. I was notified that…read moremy vehicle was ready for pickup, but when I arrived the repairs were clearly incomplete and not up to acceptable standards. The front bumper was visibly misaligned, the front right fender was misaligned, a screw/fastener was missing under the hood, and the headlights were improperly aligned with the bumper. The front right headlight is also physically damaged/broken in the corner and still has not been replaced. To make matters worse, the newly replaced front bumper itself is cracked/defective, which is completely unacceptable for a vehicle that was supposedly ready for delivery. When I pointed these issues out, I was told that 'sometimes new parts come with defects.' That is not an acceptable response. Defective parts should be replaced before a customer is asked to pick up their vehicle. I refused delivery of the vehicle because it was not restored to pre-accident condition. There were also delays and poor communication regarding the repair timeline and paperwork, and I even received an automated email incorrectly stating that I had already picked up my vehicle when the shop still has possession of it. I expect Crash Champions to fully correct all alignment issues, replace the cracked bumper and damaged front right headlight, reinstall all missing hardware properly, and complete the repairs to professional standards before considering this repair complete.
