She wasn't rude but if she did more listening instead of talking and assuming mine or others experiences could be. I literally could not get two words out without her cutting me off which led to her assuming I didn't understand what it was she was telling me, which then led to her not understanding what it was I was explaining to her & asking. Wow! I messed up royally by rolling the car in front of a speed limit sign. Wade rolled up with a flat bed, but couldn't do anything because of the speed limit sign, so he called in Doug. Doug came in with a BOOM! It was truly entertaining and a great learning experience! Wade and Doug worked well together discussing options with the land decline. They communicated excellently maneuvering the boom into place. I cannot recommend Coleman's towing enough! read more

Worst towing company I've ever dealt with. Showed up to pick up my car while already loaded with one. They decided to tow it behind the tow truck. The driver said it would be fine. Got my car back and the windshield is now cracked from rocks in about 10 places, along with 6 or 7 dents/chips on the hood from rocks. I'm also pretty sure my entire bumper will have to be replaced since there is now a crack running through it. When I reached out to their customer service, the woman was extremely rude, denied all fault, and told me that if I felt that my property had been damaged, I should call the police and file a police report. Well, Coleman's, you got your wish. A police report has been filed and insurance companies notified. read more

My car had just gotten out of the collision center 10 days prior so my son and I decided to drive 3 hours from Bowie, MD to Fork Union, VA. Well, we made it to Fredericksburg, VA, when I heard a pop and the car began swerving so I pulled over to the shoulder. Thankfully no other cars were near us. When I inspected the car, my drivers side front tire was tiled in towards the car. I called Geico and they put me in contact with Coleman Motor Company. I immediately got a call from the young lady informing me what to expect when the drover arrived. I asked her if my son and I could ride back to Bowie where I wanted to return the car to the collision. She was unsure if that was possible due to COVID but would let me know. When Lee arrived he was kind, warm and knowledgeable. He helped me understand what had happen to the car tire, called the police to get assistance so he could get it on his truck and allowed us both to ride with him 1.5 hours to the collision center. He even explained to the collision center what he saw was damaged and how the lug nuts weren't properly installed on the tire. Long story short...Lee made this horrifying experience bearable. Wayne was great! My truck was a bit larger than average with a lift kit and aftermarket wheels but he made it work without damaging it!

I will start with the positive, the truck is shiny and clean. The driver is professional. But I bought a 1lb teacup chihuahua puppy earlier and he made me leave this 8 week old puppy in the car while we drove an hour. It's 81 degrees, and I was allowed to leave the windows open, but still I am very concerned about my baby in the truck for an hour. read more

I ran into a dilemma late evening removing a vehicle from a remote property after prior plans to move the vehicle fell through. We had a closing set on the house and needed a truck moved that night. We contacted Coleman at 6 pm. Our driver was Anthony, he came out to the middle of nowhere to meet us for the tow and went above and beyond! He was courteous, sweet to our children, he understood our sentimental attachment to the old truck and took great strides to show us it was in professional, well-equipped hands. He towed it 35 miles through winding back roads and up the interstate and skillfully backed it up a sloped driveway to its new destination. This truck is a treasured childhood memory. I personally have dealt with this company 3-4 times through my insurance company and have never really had a problem with the tow its self. However, the attitude and demeanor that is given from the lady working the phones is crazy. I was stuck for 4 hours and had a tow set up by my insurance with this company and then I called the company about 40 minutes later after making the tow setup call to ask what the current situation was, and the reply I got was "we cancelled that tow" "we don't have any trucks to help you" and then a *click.* phone etiquette is key to keeping people informed, happy, and calm and right there with that one phone call I will be sure to request a company with better communication with its customers. And if this was the first time I had to deal with that type of distasteful tone and attitude it would be different, we all have our bad days, but this is not the first time dealing with her. I still never found out why they wouldn't tow my car, but thanks to that swift *click* I'll never be worrying about this company again. read more
