My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience on a recent Saturday night! The staff was very friendly and we liked the trendy downtown atmosphere. We started off with the tuna as our appetizer and I'm not usually a big fan of raw things but I absolutely loved it! The presentation was nice too. I ordered chicken Scallopini as my entree with smoked Gouda grits and balsamic mushrooms. One of the best meals I've had in Valdosta! The chicken was fried perfectly and the sauce on top was great too. Loved the mushrooms but I can't say enough about the smoked Gouda grits! One of THE best things I've ever had. Best restaurant in Valdosta! Most restaurants in town are either a chain or lacking in creativity. So far, this has been our best meal in town. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered. It was evident that the flavor and seasoning of the meal was done by someone who was proud of his work. He did come out of the kitchen to inquire about our meals. The margherita flat bread was soooooo cheesy and delicious. The tuna tataki was perfect. Service was prompt and we brought Bruno our pup and he was welcomed on the patio (until another dog came) lol then Bruno was put back in the truck. I had the vegetable plate with Gouda grits (omg) asparagus (omg) okra (omg) and the OMG sweet potato. It was scrumptious!!!! Utterly fabulous restaurant. Modern twist on Southern cuisine. We stopped here after a long day on the road. A fabulous sampler of deviled eggs, sausage, great cheese, etc. for $16. This is by far the best place we've been to in Valdosta. The service was amazing! He was very attentive. But not overbearing. My husband ordered the chef's special. This was the best fish he's ever had in a restaurant. It came with a medley of asparagus, red potatoes, and crab meat. He normally doesn't like asparagus but he loved this. I had the 8oz filet. It was cooked to perfection. It melted in my mouth. I chose to have it with the zucchini and squash medley and the sweet potatoes. The only problem was my stomach wasn't big enough to eat it all. It was so delicious! Our son had the Louisiana red fish. They accommodated to the fact that he was allergic to tomatoes, and made it without the sauce. Either lunch or dinner is fantastic and don't just get a cup of the Charleston She Crab soup because you will want to order more. I now eat the BIG SALADS( remind anyone of Seinfeld?) to stay away from too many carbs, but get one (spinach is my favorite) add chicken or shrimp and you won't be disappointed! So I ordered the bean burger with sweet potato fries and a side order of mushrooms. The bean burger was ok , mushrooms were good. Fries were burnt. Think about burnt sweet potato fries. Idk how but it happened. Anyway the place looks great. I want to return to try their different types of pasta, but one of the workers an older white male looked and stared at me till I didn't feel welcome. I'm African btw, idk if he was a racist or not. Chicken Liver, rosemary and grits appy was great. She crab soup too spicy. Excellent music - an acoustic duo. Don't order the scallops. The lady next to us sent hers back twice and they were still cold in the center. Our waiter was weak: Water, silverware lacking. I'm quickly coming to realize that there are probably more variations on how shrimp and grits are going to be prepared than I'm most likely ever going to have an opportunity to experience. The above being said, the shrimp and grits here were good overall, but I wasn't overly impressed with the shrimp...not bad, just kind of mediocre. Had the tomato salad that came with the meal. The tomatoes were overly ripe and not firm at all. Again, not bad, just kind of mediocre. Overall the menu looked good and there were a lot of other things I would try should I ever go back. Not 4 but not a solid 3 either...I'd put it at about 3.4. Notwithstanding my rating, I'd still give it a try again. read more

Our tennis group of 10 had an excellent meal. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere really cool, although it was a bit loud to carry on conversation in a large group. Oh my. I'd heard great things about this place, but never stopped by. Finally made it out to 306 North for a date night, and was not disappointed. We both ordered the 8oz Filet with twice baked potato casserole. I had a mixed green salad and sauteed asparagus. My husband had their soup of the day as well as the sweet potato. The filet was delicious. It had a glaze that we dipped the steak into. Simply divine. The baked potatoes were sooo good. They were steaming hot and worth burning my mouth a little bit for that first bite. The entire meal was actually less than we expected. It came to $64 for two entrees & drinks. Our server was great too, so if you go ask for Zane. He was knowledgeable on the menu, made perfect recommendations, didn't hover, the plates were removed and drinks refilled without us even noticing. We will definitely be back again! I go there once a week- they have a good size parking in downtown. As lately it has been the reason why I return. Menu has not changed in many years to a point that I don't want to order anything after trying everything. Very bad experience with the Lamb [so tough] on new year, to the fish -twice sick- The buttermilk pork chops are irregulars [moist sometimes- dry as a bone other time- They have weekly "specials"and that is the lottery, sometimes good, sometimes not. Truly a great find in Valdosta (where chain restaurants GREATLY outnumber local restaurants)! We went for the early bird menu (5-7pm everday). We had duck bruschetta with blueberry stilton and local honey as our appetizer. I'm a sucker for anything with duck so this was perfect. My only minor note would be to toast the bread a little more. I had the 4oz filet with red wine reduction and my guy had grilled shrimp and grits. Both meals still came with a side and salad. (*hint they have a salad not shown on the menu with spinach, strawberries, pecans, beets and a champagne vinaigrette that is DELICIOUS) This was the best filet I've had in years. Perfectly cooked, delightfully tender. All in all with 2 drinks, 1 app and 2 meals it came to just over $50. It's a small restaurant with stellar service. Great restaurant! Awesome to have an option for a nice dinner in the area. Shrimp and Gouda grits were amazing, probably the best I've ever had. Appetizers were great, and even the salads were nice, with warm bacon-vinaigrette available. Wine and beer list are great, and the service is excellent. I was really surprised to see an early-bird special, but the early bird menu ran until 7pm, and had some excellent affordable options (~$15) that were all very well prepared and the dishes were very interesting. The porkchops were awesome and juicy. Overall the menu is great, they offer a wonderful take on some traditional southern foods but taken to a new level. They also offer excellent modern american fare as well. Much of the food is locally sourced, and everything was fresh and well prepared. This place could compete with restaurants in major cities. You could hit a lot of other places in this town for a meal, but I would chose this place first every time. My favorite meal on the menu are the Buttermilk Fried Pork chops which are served with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. This restaurant is surprisingly affordable. Big City Quality in a Charming Small Town 306 North would be a very good restaurant in Atlanta. It was a very pleasant find in Valdosta. The food quality and service were quite high. 360 North is an amazing and delightful find. We enjoyed delicious filet of beef and pork brisket. The dinners came with two sides and a salad. The caesar and spinach salad dressings are homemade and will not disappoint. The variety of sides were numerous and exceptional, we really enjoyed the grits and twice baked potatoes. Dessert does not fail, the homemade key lime cheesecake was a home run. We stopped here enroute from Florida to North Carolina and will definitely stop here on the way home for dinner again. My husband and I dined here for our anniversary last night. All I can say is WOWSER!! It was soooooo good! EVERY.SINGLE.THING.!! I had looked at the menu online before arriving and was kind of worried because I felt like more than half of the dinner menu was fish or seafood which I care nothing for and have an allergy to. My husband went with the Filet of Beef with Cabernet Reduction, grilled honey-truffled sweet potatoes, and sautéed broccoli. He said it was devine! I had the Buttermilk fried pork chops with Marsala Gravy, grilled honey truffled sweet potatoes, and gouda grits. AH FREAKING MAZING!!! I also had the wedge salad and he had a spring mix salad. They were so so good. My husband doesn't even eat bleu cheese and he had some of mine! Our waitress, Megan (Meagan), was SUPER AWESOME! She was attentive and didn't miss a beat! Brought our appetizer, the Margherita Flat Bread (holy moly so good!) and THEN bread and salad, and then our main course in a timely manner. My husband had beer and I had the Latin Lover Tini that our waitress suggested when I told her I was looking for something in the coconut realm! SO GOOD! Everything was perfect for our one year anniversary! I read reviews stating not to leave without desert but I just could not find the room for another bite! The staff seemed to work together well. All were smiling. Plates were picked up by other servers as we finished up and they saw the empty plates. We never once had to look for our waitress for anything. She even took time to take a few pictures for us outside! I can not say enough good things about this little restaurant! The prices were reasonable and we had more than enough food. As for the few unhappy reviews I read, well you can't always please everyone but we WILL be back and I will suggest this place to others! read more
