He's extremely picky with this kind of work on his car so I figured if he said 310 tinting was the best, it must be. I got ceramic tint. Armando was great in that he really went the extra mile to ensure I left as a happy customer. I told him another tinting place was much cheaper, and he went out of the way to research on how that could be because as a business he knew they wouldn't be able to make money by charging so low. He provided me a car rental so I didn't have to wait around for my car. He also cleaned the outside of my car. I came back after a month because there was a dust stuck in tint on the driver side which was bugging me. He redid it without any question. He also did my back tint since it was not sticking together because it didn't get exposed to the sun enough. I know that a human puts on the tint so it's not going to be 100% flawless with no dust, so I didn't make a deal of the tiny little ones where no one is ever going to notice. Simply put, you can get a much better tint job, with better service, at a cheaper price just about anywhere else. The installer was 5 hours late to the appointment, he literally cut cut corners, and didn't tape the window controls (standard procedure) to prevent the window from rolling down. When I asked Armando about fixing two of the windows where there film didn't go to the edge, he lectured me on being a difficult customer and told me I didn't deserve good customer service. Being an aesthetician my biggest concern is skin cancer and protecting my family against the harmful rays of the sun. SCAM!!! I purchased a deal for this company from groupon, the deal was $99 for a full tint. Then once at the shop, the man proceeds to tell me that the $99 deal is actually only for the darkest tint which is "ILLEGAL" and if I choose it, I will get pulled over by the police. This place was definitely clutch. Armando was super helpful. I've got an E430 I brought out here from Florida with limo tints all around and 50% on the windshield. For 3 years I've driven around with no problem because I have special tags. One day, last October, this d-bag valley cop pulls me over and gives me a tint ticket. So after an extention, about 2 weeks before the ticket is due, I'm calling places to see how much it is to remove the tints. After calling a few places I found on Yelp, I came across 310 Tinting and called. I find out they have a "Tint Ticket Special." They'll remove your 2 front windows, let you go get your ticket signed off, and then put new tints back on, all for $80. I was sold. My tints were off my windows for less than 24 hours. It worked out great since the tints were about 3 years old and had some scratches anyways. I made sure to wait a couple weeks to make sure everything settled right before writing this review. Tints look great, no complaints. I'm actually going to head back there to get the car detailed. They have a returning customer discount with their detailing guy. I saw one of the cars they did, it was fantastic. Looked brand new. Also, just wanted to point out, reading through these reviews, there's only one bad review by someone named "DocBruin." After reading his review, it sounded a bit off. Clicking on his profile, you see that he's only reviewed two places. One is 310 Tinting, the other is Rob's Tinting. My first visit to look at options and get prices went very well and Armando was helpful and professional. We agreed that I would drop my car off the next morning at 8:45am. Armando nicely agreed to meet me 15 mins. before he opened because I needed to get to work. At 9:20, no one had shown up so I left. I took my 2011 bmw x5 here . After spending time with the owner , we went over all options for the car. I elected to go with full ceramic on all windows , including a clear one on the windshield and moonroof. My car was a bit more challenging because the glass on the rear windows was pre colored / tinted from factory , so matching all around was a challenge - and I think they did a great job. Overall, the price was fair , the work was done well , and I had a few small issues afterwards. I brought the vehicle back , and they were taken care of on the spot without any issues. The work was done about a month ago , so I will keep an eye on it , but so far so good. read more

I hoped I'd be giving this place 5 stars - however it took 3 trips and leaving my car there twice to get the job done right (hopefully it's right now... it was just redone today). At my first visit Armando have me a good price and the car was done a few hours later, as promised. Fast forward 10 days when it was all dry and I noticed obvious imperfections in one window. Upon further examination ALL THE WINDOWS had imperfections/bubbles as if they weren't perfectly cleaned before the film was applied. I called to say there were issues and was told to bring the car in to take a look. Armando agreed to fix and we decided I'd leave the car the next day. So on my 3rd visit I was told that the installer was distracted the day my film was applied. Clearly. Armando said he would take care of getting everything removed and reinstalled properly, which he did. However it was a total inconvenience that it took 2 additional trips, and I was without my car for another day! From prior reviews I expected them to get it right the first time. I went to 310 tinting 2 weeks ago to get my brand new car tinted. Armando was very helpful in explaining all the different types of tint and I chose the one I wanted. Fast forward 1 week later I noticed there were scratches on the tint on some windows and also bubbles. I took it back to Armando 1 week later and he replaced the tint on the windows with issues at no charge which was great. He also dropped me home and was willing to pick me up. Great customer service. Now after another week I cleaned all my windows with invisible glass and to check the quality of the tint. There are numerous bubbles both small and big trapped beneath the tint (all 5 windows) and also I noticed some lint trapped in 2 windows. At this point I will cut my losses as I don't want to spend another day with waiting and if you can't get it right twice, I don't think I want to try a third time. I will probably just live with it for a few years and re-tint it somewhere else in a few years when I have extra cash. So in conclusion, I would not come back. read more

My oh my. 310 Tinting is by far the best place to get a tint job in the city of Los Angeles. There are things you must consider before deciding on a tint shop. Price, Product, and Customer Service. Price: Mr. Loo charges a very competitive rate of $325 for 3M (brand name) tint. He explains to you that there are three types of tints: 35%, 20%, and 5% in which you can put on your car. It is all the same price and great coverage with any choice. Product: Mr. Loo offers another Tint (less well-known) for $229 but the tint you want to go for is 3M because it looks so much better and you can feel the difference in how much sun gets into your car and the heat you feel when you're driving down the 405. 3M reduces so much heat and glare! Coming to 310 Tinting is awesome because most of the tint shops will do tints for inexpensive but you do not know what tint is going onto your car and will not honor and fix your car if some trouble were to arise. Customer Service: Once again, 310 Tinting is the best when it comes to customer service. I say this because of the way Mr. Loo and his wife treat their customers and explains to you the hazard of getting limo tint on your front windows (so illegal but I didn't know to well). To top off, if there is ever a problem with your tint (bubbles, peeling, et c.), he will remove and fix the problem or clean off the bubble. This man is honest and will never try to overcharge you. Nor would he turn his back on a previous customer if he or a worker did a bad job. This is the must-go place because his tint jobs are great and if you are not 100% satisfied he will replace it with a new tint. Don't go to other places because none would ever this kind of service. Mr. Loo makes it simple and easy to get a tint job and you will never worry about a botched tint BECAUSE it will be repaired. BONUS: There are several famous people that love getting their tint done here. To name a few: Clipper players, Rocky, and Shaq. Then he proceeded to show up over an hour later without an apology. I'm giving this place one star because of their terrible customer service.
