Dr Hoang was bright and upbeat. He told me what I needed and what I DIDN'T need (he was a second opinion after someone was basically telling I needed something that wasn't true). They had a very high tech X-ray machine that scanned my entire mouth in 10 seconds--very cool. They were playing Billy Joel music, and the place did not smell like an ortho office. It pains me to write bad reviews but I wish someone had warned us before we came here!…read more Get Ready for a detailed review but if you just want the main reason, Embrace Your Smile wants to charge us over $10,000 for a two phase treatment for our daughter. We already paid them $4460 for phase one and now they want another $5800 for phase 2 for a 12 year old now, 10 when this started. Every other place we visited quoted us around $6800-$7200 for a two phase treatment. We started looking for orthodontists in the area and we scheduled 3 different visits. First two were great and had great reviews, they both recommended a two phase treatment and they ranged from $6800-$7200. The third place we went to was Embrace Your Smile and Doctor Weber who no longer works there turned on the charm and talked about his daughters and made our daughter feel very special. My wife and I recall their pricing being slightly more than the other two but their office and the owner (Dr Meagan) swear up and down that they never do 2 phase quotes and they only do one phase at a time. Not sure If that's accurate or not but willing to give them that benefit of the doubt and maybe we conflated the three estimates, but highly unlikely that I would just roll the dice and not know what the cost for 2nd phase would be as the other two were very sure she would need 2 phases. Next day my wife went in by herself and signed a contract for phase one only for a total contract price of $4460. Fast forward to last Sept when they pulled off her braces and told us we need to wait for her last few baby teeth to fall out before we start phase 2. We went back there a couple of weeks ago assuming we would pay the difference of somewhere around $2800 or so ( we actually thought we had paid the monthly payments for both phases in full already as it just came out of our card each month and we didn't pay close attention to it). We were shocked when they told us her phase 2 treatment was going to be another $5800 for a grand total of $10,260 for a simple treatment that everyone else then and even now (as we have talked to other orthodontics in the area agree should have been around $7k total for both phases). As we are shopping around now for phase 2 with highly rated orthodontists in the area, they all have recommended expander even on this phase, even with that their pricing is still cheaper than Embrace Your Emile. When Embrace gave us their plan for the second round, there was no mention of expander despite the other two recommending it. In conclusion not only does their price seem extremely high, we have also lost trust in their treatment plan so we are moving elsewhere to finish her treatment. When I confronted the owner about why they wouldn't give both phase pricing upfront she said there is no way to account for inflation two years from now and also said they sometimes don't need a phase two!! Strange how other practices can forsee that and offer transparent pricing. My advice for you is if you don't like surprises, pick a place that gives you the price upfront. Also asking for reviews for points probably isn't a good business practice. Lastly we had two issues while being there. One was this and other was with a tech that was making my daughter cry without a care. Both times we requested to speak to Doctor Meagan and to her credit she made herself available both times when she was done with her patients.

They scheduled regular consults over the course of three years, carefully watching her dental growth and development to ensure the best possible timing for treatment. Dr. Megan has been absolutely incredible. She timed my daughter's braces perfectly, allowing her to simultaneously correct her overbite, which made such a difference in her overall treatment. From the start, costs and the treatment plan were clearly discussed and explained, so there were no surprises--something we truly appreciated as parents. My daughter was very scared during her initial visits, but Dr. Megan and her entire team approached her with so much kindness, patience, and love that her fear quickly turned into trust. A special shoutout to Shy, the dental hygienist--she is truly the best! She takes the time to explain everything she's doing to my daughter, prepares her for what to expect, and empowers her to speak up if something hurts or feels uncomfortable. Shy has become our go-to hygienist, and we couldn't imagine this process without her. Everyone in this office is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. The front desk staff is always friendly and incredibly accommodating, consistently working with my schedule to ensure after-work appointments are available. The patience and compassion Dr. Megan and her team have shown our family throughout this journey mean more than words can express.
