I would like to share what I learned with those that might be shopping for a plastic surgeon. I have been able to compare two plastic surgeons and how they operate. Dr. Kusuma will not ask you to sign endless documents stating that no matter what happens, he is not responsible for the result. 2. Dr. Kusuma will not use general anesthesia for your surgery. 3. Dr. Kusuma films the complete surgery, and he will give you any films you desire to have. So, you actually know what went on during the surgery. 4. Dr. Kusuma will perform the complete surgery himself. He will not allow a "surgical assistant" who has never attended college to close any incisions, or to perform any procedure. 5. After the surgery, every time you visit Dr. Kusuma, photos are taken. He meticulously compares your progress. 6. Dr. Kusuma will not let you go until he deems the final product to be perfect. He will follow through with various measures to achieve total perfection. 7. If you have any problems, it is easy to make an appointment. After leaving me in the room for a while, he came back and completed the injections. When I checked out, I confirmed that I had only received treatment for one area, not two. A little over a month later, I called to schedule my next appointment to use the remaining 50 units. The receptionist pulled up my account and told me all 100 units had already been used. I explained there had to be a mistake, and she said she would check with the doctor. She later informed me that he claimed to have used the full 100 units at that first visit. I was shocked. I asked for documentation showing where and how many units were injected, and was told they do not record that information. I have never encountered a provider who doesn't keep detailed records for this type of service. It was very troubling to learn that the doctor did not follow what we agreed upon. I honestly do not believe he used all 100 units, but even if he did, it was unethical because I explicitly requested only 50 and specified the area of treatment. If he chose to make changes, he did not inform me or obtain my consent. Based on my experience, I believe this doctor is unethical. I strongly recommend choosing a reputable provider who honors both their Groupon offers and the agreements made during consultation.

Brand new spa just opened at The Fountains in plantation! I don't know if I would call it a spa…read morenecessarily, because I don't think they offer massages or aroma therapy, but they do offer Botox, fillers, laser treatments and the such. I was lucky enough to be able to attend their grand opening party and was able to score some great offers on some of their treatments. I took the plunge and got myself a couple of syringes of fillers, which is something I have been wanting to do for a little while. I talked to one of their nurses, Deborah, a nurse practitioner in fact, and she told me exactly what I needed to buy. I booked my appointment for a couple a weeks later. She suggested that it would be a good idea to schedule it on a time where I didn't have any major events coming up in the event that I would bruise. I appreciated that because I never would've thought of it. On the day of my appointment is so happens that Deborah was the one who would do the treatment on my face. I came in exactly on time and had to fill out some papers of course. The receptionist was very nice and attentive she took me to a room to the side where she offered to make me some tea while I filled out my paperwork. Because I am me, I brought a friend to witness my shenanigans. She was also shown to the room and offered a cup of tea is well. Deborah came in and greeted me and was very patient and waited for me to fill my paperwork. She then took me to a room and applied numbing cream to the area and sent me on my way to wait 20 minutes. That, if anything told me that it would not be as painless as I hoped it would be. Once she started, she explained what she was going to do and told me exactly what each of the syringes were supposed to do, and how the whole process would go about. She was very thorough and very patient with me. For some reason I kept getting dizzy and nauseous and every once in a while I would ask her to take a small break. She even gave me a couple of cookies in case my sugar was acting up. This happened once before when I donated blood so it is possible, She did not rush me at all. I didn't feel pressured or that I was taking up her time. In fact she told me that I could take as long as I needed, which I really appreciate it. The whole process is not as painful as I thought it would be. There is pain involved, yes, if you have no tolerance for pain it might be very uncomfortable. I do have high tolerance for pain and some applications hurt more than others and in certain parts as well. And I am not going to lie it is a little freaky when you can hear the bone squishing or the liquid going in. It is a very weird sensation and hard to explain. I think Deborah did an excellent job. I can see the bags I had under my eyes greatly diminished, and the area a little fuller. I only got fillers on my cheekbone and under eye area, so I could get rid of the "tired look" and it did exactly that. It is not so noticeable that it would look weird or like I had something done. Which I could care less, hence I am writing this review but some people might. I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place and come back for more treatments in the future.
