I'm originally from Chicago and have done 3 large remodel jobs and they are never without problems…read moreor delays. So when I started my remodel in San Diego, I was expecting the worst. I met with Jeff and Jimbo as well as two other builders. I didn't choose Rockstar because they seemed to good to be true, price wise and everything they claimed they could do. Turns out my first choice fell through because they didn't want to provide me with Lien releases. So I decided to give Rockstar a try. I gotta say I was very happy with their work and how they got the job done on time. In addition, all their promises were not empty words and they delivered on everything. We added things along the way too and the finish date was still close to what was promised. At any rate, they did a great job and we had a lot of work done- complete kitchen, both bathrooms as well as other jobs throughout the house. I was also surprised at many of the decorative suggestions made by the owner Jeff. Nine times out of 10 he was right. The other times my wife was :-) What impressed me most was how they stand by their work. Most contractors are gone once the job is over and good luck getting something fixed if it goes wrong, because things always go wrong. What separate's a good contractor from a great one is how they handle mistakes. Rockstar made some mistakes but they didn't argue or try to make excuses. They corrected it and moved on and didn't find a way to make us pay. For instance, we had a small leak (emphasize small) under two different sinks on two different occasion's- AFTER the job was done. Not only did Jeff return my call, they were back at my house within a 1/2 hour to fix it. Good luck finding that anywhere else. They also didn't "nickel and dime" us on small changes or small fixes that came up along the way during our job. If you are having trouble deciding on who to choose as your general contractor, I would definitely recommend Rockstar to anyone! I don't have any pictures to post of the work because we are not finished decorating or furnishing but I will in the future.

Their attention to detail and patience at each phase of the project ensured we got everything exactly the way we wanted.

We had a large home renovation project that we started with a different contractor-- it was…read morefrustrating for months, before the contractor completely backed out. We reached out to Sohail once mid-design (and then again when the original GC withdrew) to provide a bid to take over the project. Although we ultimately were not able to use Hossini Homes on our project due to scheduling, we wanted to write a review to share how impressed we were. Sohail is honest. We could tell that he put together bids with thought and detail, and told us a time frame he knew he could meet (or beat). He is not the type who will overpromise and underdeliver- he will take the time to understand your project, give you a realistic estimate, and then deliver. Sohail really seems to understand the building process, and pays attention to detail. He asked good questions about the project. He is aware of rules and regulations, and doesn't cut corners. He actually made us aware of an SDG&E process we needed to begin to disconnect our power (something our original GC never mentioned or initiated). Sohail was always very responsive and easy to communicate with. He was nothing but kind and understanding as we navigated a tough situation with our original GC, and was gracious when we ultimately were not able to work with him on our project. Don't make the mistake we did-- choose Hossini Homes from the start! We would recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch builder with integrity for their home project.
