Kyla has been cutting and coloring my hair for a few years, and was the only one I trusted to do my wedding updo. I have fine, wavy/curly hair and had grown it long enough to do some fun things, but did not have very much volume. She really worked with me on my goals and how to style my hair so it looked beautiful. She had lots of tricks I never knew about! The trial run was so much fun. We tried out a few different styles and used the pins I selected for the day of. At the wedding, she was so helpful in navigating three very different bridesmaid needs. One couldn't use any product due to sensitivities (and she looked amazing!), one had very thick hard to hold hair, and one had very curly hair! She was prepared for everything. Kyla overall is an upbeat, fun and caring person who is highly skilled and makes people feel at ease. I had such a fun time in the bridal suite with her there making us all look our best. When the wedding was over and it was time to finally pull out all the bobby pins, it hardly looked different! My style held so well without being too stiff from hairspray. Booked a 1pm and 1:45pm appointment for my friend and I to get blowouts before a wedding. I arrived at 1:10 (called to say I'd be late) and Jeanette told me she would not have time to blow it out with the round brush but would have to use a flatiron. I was done by 1:35pm and my friend's appointment also finished in ~30 minutes. We were each charged $65 for our blowouts. I didn't say anything in the moment, but afterwards, realized that seemed quite high. I double checked the salon site which lists a blowout as $45. I emailed right away to ask why we were charged almost 50% more than advertised. We were told that each stylist can charge whatever they want and it's due to "timing and thickness". Jeanette did a nice job with my hair and I hesitate to write a bad review of a small business - but I was shocked to see a similar review talking about their "make it up as you go" pricing system. It's not ok to list prices on your site and then have stylists choose prices on the fly. One star for horrific pricing practices - would not recommend. read more

These ladies are wizards. I got my hair and makeup done for a pre wedding Welcome Dinner, and they did such a fabulous job!! Brittany really listened to what I wanted and the look I was going for. She gave me this gorgeous glow, perfectly matched my complexion, and stuck to a more natural color palette. Kyla did my hair and flawlessly recreated a look I had found on Pinterest. I mean, how often does real life work out better than an online pic?! They were warm, friendly, easy to talk to, and professional. I had my wedding at Hans Fahden on May 9th, just up the road, and these amazing ladies made me and my bridal party feel like family. This was especially important since we were traveling up from Orange County. I have never met such an accommodating group, especially for last minute needs and the prices are very reasonable. If you are in Calistoga for your wedding, please consider using them for your wedding hair and makeup. You can even bring in champagne and snacks to eat while you get ready. Kyla will work with you to schedule and make your day truly one to remember. Their makeup artist is also amazing and will make you look like a beautiful natural bride. Trust me my biggest worry was looking like a caked on barbie doll and there is none of that going on here. These are talented and skilled ladies. Don't forget to book a facial with Jen. This place took advantage of two teenagers. Poor service. I scheduled 2 gel manicures for my daughter and her friend on her 16th birthday. I spoke with Jeanette, and we scheduled a 1pm and 1:30pm appointment for each and she said they would be finished at 2:15pm. The girls showed up at 1pm and were finished and rode bikes back into Calistoga by 1:30pm. According to the website, the gel manicure costs $35 and includes all of the services of an original manicure, which includes a hand and forearm massage. They were charged $40 each and did not receive the hand and forearm massage. Basically, they received cuticle care, nail filing and gel polish for $40! We had to call the salon twice before getting in touch with Jeanette. We understand the price increase. But, when we mentioned the massage that is included, Jeanette said that they never go off of their website for pricing or service, and that they never provide a massage for gel manicures. My daughter and I both regularly get gel manicures for years and have ALWAYS received a massage. read more

I live in the East Bay and was in Calistoga visiting a friend who treated me to a Hot Stone Massage with 360's massage therapist, Sheila. The massage room is roomy and decorated nicely, with a nice temperature. Sheila makes you feel at ease straight away and her massage is excellent. She asks just enough questions to get the massage how you like it but not too many that you can't get in to a relaxed state. I can only say that all other massages will be spoilt for me in the future as they will be hard to compare to this! Would highly recommend getting a massage here if you are in the area and if you live in or close to Calistoga you should become a regular, I know I would. read more

I am a hairdresser from Scottsdale Arizona, and was in a bind when I booked an appointment at 360 salon and day spA. I was in need of an updo for a black tie affair I was attending. I made it to appointment late, and Kayla the owner greeted me with a smile and happily attended my hair needs perfectly, with an awesome, cheerful conversation as well. I got exactly what I wanted. I then was taken over to Mercedes who gave me an awesome pedicure with an amazing foot massage! I highly recommend, and definitely request! Lastly, I got a very relaxing massage from Sheila. I had Calistoga 360 booked for my July wedding on location. My hair was done EXACTLY as I had hoped for.. half up with long loose spirals with some silk flowers in it and Swarovski pearl embellishments (which I provided). Everything held in place beautifully despite a lot of dancing (and I found out why after I took it out... so many bobby pins!). My maid-of-honor was able to easily remove the veil and my hair held together wonderfully. I would definitely recommend Kyla to other brides. Plus, their prices are AMAZING - very reasonable compared to what some other places charge for wedding hairdos. Additionally, Kyla was able to fit in my bridesmaid for some simple styling on the day of without any advance notice. She looked beautiful, too. Why only four stars and not five? I booked Calistoga360Salon a couple months ahead of my wedding date, and on the day-of at our appointment time, there was no one there yet.... so once I called they rushed over and apologized a million times over. They have recently switched appointment systems to prevent something like this from happening again, but it was a little worrisome at the time! Made a last minute appointment for a blowout on the day of my rehearsal dinner and the staff at the salon was amazing and really flexible. Naturally, the days leading up to a wedding end up being totally chaotic and I had to shift my timing the morning of my appointment, they were completely understanding and did their best to make sure I could squeeze into the schedule. Disappointed. I went to get full highlight and haircut by Jennifer. I showed pictures of the color I wanted and I thought I was clear on what I wanted but left and I got home and two people commented that "it looks the same" and "I thought you were going lighter?" I know I should have said something right then, but I didn't. I don't like confrontation and I know that's my problem. I should have said something right then. I paid a lot of money and don't do things for myself very often. So I got the courage to text the next day to ask how much it would be to go back and get lighter highlights. I was thinking she would say come back at no charge. That's what I think a real professional would do in this case. She came back and said it would cost the entire $115.00! Worst. Haircut. Of my life. I had just donated my hair to locks of love, and come down to the salon for a fix up of my quick cut. My hair looked all right in the salon (no shampoo/washing) the girl cutting my hair cut it COMPLETELY dry. I have super THICK hair, and asked her to wet it down a bit to prevent if from becoming uneven, (which she did not). The next day after I had washed and blown dry my hair I noticed how absurdly uneven it was. I had to FIX my hair myself, which mind you, they told me looked cute when I first walked in. The two girls who did our manicures and pedicures were gorgeous and so funny. They made us feel young again! I recently had my wedding hair and makeup done at Salon 360, as did my wedding party. We had fantastic experience at the salon! They are typically closed on Sundays, but opened for the day of the wedding to accommodate our party. Kyla, the owner, was really friendly, reassuring, and in communication with me leading up to the big day. She was considerate in working with me on our group's schedule to be sure we would be out of there in time for our pictures before the wedding. Each of the stylists (Kyla, Mercedes, and Breanna) was skilled, professional and friendly. They each did a wonderful job with all our different hair types, style requests, and tweaks, and did so in a the reasonable amount of time they had promised. I had my makeup done Kristina who did a beautiful job. She listened to my feedback and gave her professional input on what would be best given the time of day, photographs, etc. I don't know much about makeup, so her expertise was really helpful! A few weeks before the wedding, I did have a pre-trial for both my hair and makeup, and am happy I did. I came back with some minor changes and both Kyla and Kristina made the changes without a problem. I cannot rave enough about Salon 360. Not only was each person we worked with talented in what she does, each had a warm, friendly demeanor that made for a fun and relaxing morning on what could have been a stressful one. I always got great results of clean looking, thin, little streaks and highlights, that were done so well to not look chunky or choppy. I had my hair done here for my Calistoga wedding, and my two attendants, mother and grandmother had their hair done too. I couldn't have been any happier. Kyla, the owner, wasn't half hysterical all around my head (as were other salon owners in the SF Bay Area when I chanced to mention this was for my wedding). I had a calm, laid back, small wedding, and it was nice to work with someone who wasn't high maintenance. She also did my "test hair" free of charge. We were all satisfied, my fine hair held up beautifully all day, the prices were terrific, Kyla booked me months in advance and confirmed with me, and I never, ever worried that she'd flake out or forget about us on my wedding day. An absolute disappointment. Planning from out of town for my wedding. Wanting a special experience with my mother the day before to get a manicure and pedicure. We talked to the owner who assured us that they do weddings and that they have champagne and a whole experience. What we walked into was a different experience totally.
