This is one of the few ways go get over go Peanut Island, and it's very fast, and easy to navigate…read more (Not accessible by car) When you arrive at Marina Village, free parking is available for guests going onto the island. The shuttle boat costs $25 for adults, and $12 for children. It's a quick boat ride over, approximately 5 min. Shuttles run about every 15 min to and from the island. Tickets can be purchased online, or in person. Everyone is given a wristband which is how the shuttle employees keep track of who's paid for the round trip shuttle service. It's important to note alcohol is not allowed onto the island, if you're carrying bags, coolers and carts over it will be checked. It's a fun day trip with so much to do on the little island.

The marina is part of a gated community of several high rise condo bldgs so it has security. Restaurant "Belle" is excellent. Safe Harbor has done an excellent job investing in making an already excellent marina into an outstanding one. Easy access off ICW for fuel and for a transient slip. The facilities are excellent, clean and safe. Visiting boats have use of a pool at a nearby public Golf Country Club, but it is a healthy 1mi walk from the slips. If coming by boat either north or south bound, it is a beautiful stop.

First, I was told there were no reservations available. Then, I was told there were two reservations available on the 30th--three weeks away--in New Jersey, which is not practical for me. I also cannot take a boat out in Florida at this time. This is not at all what we were told when we joined. To make matters worse, I was told that reserving a boat for this weekend would require special approval and that, unless we wanted to spread a loved one's ashes, the request would not be approved. I find that response completely unacceptable and not representative of the level of service we were promised. Because of the lack of reasonable accommodations and the failure to provide the services that were represented when I signed up, I am canceling my ACH authorization and expect a full refund for August. Not only would we do the Christmas lights cruise again but we plan to do their sunset cruise when we return in March.
