When police responded, I was told there were numerous break-ins at this facility around the same time, several in just one day. I filed a police report and am now coordinating with detectives. Based on the number of secured access points and codes required to enter the property and reach the units, they indicated the level of access involved strongly suggests this was not random and required internal knowledge of the facility. An employee also told me that a former staff member who had been fired had previously been cutting customers' disc locks and replacing them with different circular locks. Hearing that, combined with the number of thefts, is extremely concerning. Management's response focused on paperwork and insurance technicalities instead of addressing the obvious security failures. Multiple break-ins, lock tampering, and poor accountability is not what anyone should expect when paying for "secure" storage. Store here at your own risk.
