I've come here several times. The ice cream is always delicious. ( review has nothing to do with ice cream, by the way) They usually have a line but it moves fairly quick. This time around, I wanted to try a sub. I ordered my ice cream and also ordered an Italian sub with everything. By the time I got in my car, the bag was ripped and leaking.. I said ok I grabbed some napkins (because they didn't even put some in the bag) and put it to the side until I got home to eat. When I parked and picked up the bag.. it was even more ripped and wet I took a peak and grabbed the sandwich and it all fell out as you can see in the pictures. Such a bad experience.. they didn't close it or wrap it properly so I was all over the place.... Smh! I've worked in the food industry for over 10 years. Whoever is training the staff or made the sandwich isn't doing such a great job. There is nothing more disappointing than getting your food and something like this happens. It's something so simple , yet something that can totally ruin the "customer experience " please do better. This is the reason for the 1 star. read more

I've been coming to 3B Ice Cream in Duncannon since I was a kid, and it's long overdue that I sing its praises. Ice cream is one of my favorite summertime activities, and 3B is an annual tradition. They always have plenty of trusty standbys along with rotating new flavors, so there's truly something for everyone. Parking is available on-site (though limited), ordering is done at a walk-up window, and while there's no indoor seating, a few picnic tables outside make it easy to enjoy your treat on the spot. They also sell quarts of their flavors to take home--which is a major win. On this visit, I went for their seasonal Pumpkin Caramel Walnut Sundae and oh my goodness--it was heaven in a dish. I ordered the kid size and it was still huge! For $5, I gladly accepted the challenge of finishing it. Pumpkin ice cream, a generous drizzle of warm caramel, a thick layer of wet walnuts, all topped with whipped cream and a cherry. It was the perfect way to ease into fall without breaking the bank. 3B's is a true Central PA staple for good reason: consistently delicious ice cream, consistently reasonable prices, and consistently happy customers. This is the best ice cream around! There are plenty of flavors to choose from. Staff is generally friendly. I had a couple not so great experiences in the spring with inattentive staff at the windows, but it seems like they hire teenagers, so that's to be expected. Outside of that, I've always had great experiences. I highly recommend the Peanut Butter Overload and the Graham Cracker Crunch flavors. But I haven't had a flavor I didn't like! Parking is a bit insane in the summer, I wish there was a bigger parking lot. read more

This place is a hidden gem! They have a huge selection of flavors that I didn't quite expect, including chocolate marshmallow, chocolate almond, butter pecan, and black cherry - we sat at the little tables in the grass and enjoyed the sun. The price cannot be beat for the amount and flavor of ice cream. My friends and I went for the first time recently and are definitely going to be headed back - certainly worth the drive from Hershey! Always one of my favorite places to go in summer. Prices are reasonable because they hand spin most of the icecream. There's so many flavors it can be hard to choose one! If you even count that as a con haha. The customer service is great and they are very quick on their toes to get everyone's orders out on time. I take groups here throughout the summer and we love to sit on their picnic tables and just talk for a while, look at the beautiful scenery and enjoy our delicious icecream! read more

It is a bit expensive but if it's hot out and you've got the extra cash on you it's one of the best places to get ice cream, it's not sweet enough to rot your teeth like DQ and McD so it's perfect. My favorite milkshake is the chocolate malt hand dipped, and my favorite regular is Cinnamon Cookie. read more

I have had the pleasure of lunch here twice in about 2 weeks and I gotta say it was great. I had the Italian sub and it's a 14 inch sub.
