Just picked my car from 3D Auto Body & Collision Center and could not be more happy. The customer service at 3D was fantastic. We received frequent text updates to the status of the repairs and we actually were able to pick up our car a day early. They refused to release my car when the repairs were completed because they did not get a final check from the insurance company. The reason behind that was they never got authorization to do the added repairs in the first place but went ahead and did them anyway. They broke their own procedure by doing the repairs with out prior authorization. They held my car for "collateral " So I asked why hold my care if you broke your own rules and felt you were going to get paid? I was told that was procedure. I asked what happens if the claims adjuster does not agree with the charges ,they said they will continue to hold my car as collateral Shouldn't they give me my car back because they screwed themselves by not getting authorization first? no customer relations no business sense read more

Unsafe repairs!  There is a big reason not to go here.  They have multiple locations all around and they are NOT independent from the insurance companies.  My 85yr old mother was sent here after she hit a deep pothole with enough force to bend her strut and control arm.  They didn't know we already had it checked out before going to 3D Auto Body.  They called her to say the car was realigned and ready to go.  I called and asked about the dent and scratch in the wheel as well as the bent strut and they said the wheel was like that from hitting a curb and the car aligned fine.   We came to pick up the car and a big argument ensued where they were pretty much calling my mother and me liars when we told them the wheel wasn't damaged until the pothole that night. We left and took it to the closest shop where the owner just happened to be  a former accident investigator for the State Police.  He not only affirmed that the wheel scratches indicated up and down striations indicative of a drop into a pothole.  He also found a bent control arm, a bent strut and a damaged bushing. They were going to send an 85yr old woman out on the road in an unsafe vehicle.   Don't go here if you value honesty.  They are sneaky until caught and then they are nasty. read more

The exterior of the car was absolutely fixed. The car was returned to me with air bag dust still throughout the interior. It had to be returned, and the interior detailed. The gear shift handle was loose. I was told all gear shift handles are like that ( it wasn't before the accident ). It had to be returned and replaced. Currently, the vents sometimes don't open, the radio sometimes doesn't come on, the touch screen sometimes heats up to extreme temperatures which didn't happen before the accident. ( completely random) It was returned a third time, checked, and I was told there doesn't seem to be a problem? This company will say the right things to get your business, then turn into a snake oil salesmen. They are the worst at assisting the customer and resolving the issues. THEY PAINTED 1/4" THICK OF BODY FILLER ON A RIPPLED PIECE OF METAL AND PAINTED OVER IT, AND CHARGED ME AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY THE PRICE TO REPLACE WITH A FACTORY ONE. FRAUDS!!! This place is downright full of hacks. They commit fraud to make money and don't do the work correctly. I had my car brought there because it was recommended by my insurance. All said and done they gave me the car back after I couldn't handle returning time after time for simple complaints of things not lining up. Luckily after dealing with those unprofessional people at 3D I took my car somewhere else after someone had backed into one of my doors. While dropping it off, I'd voiced my concern about the previous repairs done at 3D. They looked into it and revealed that they'd FRAUDULENTLY charged me and my insurance company to replace a piece of metal that they in fact did not. They lied about the work they did and only fixed the aesthetics (not well) and gave me back a still totaled car that, had I been hit again would not have reacted properly to a crash due to their lack of repair. I have all supporting documents if anyone has questions. I am very disappointed that they failed to safely fix the car that I put my family and myself into and lied to me so many times. The. Worst. My husband was in a collision where a woman slow-rolled into the side of our Tiguan. Progressive sent us to 3D for repairs. Three visits and hours of phone calls later, we have our car back, just barely better than it started. We dropped off the car to have the side panels replaced. After we picked up the car two weeks later, my husband noticed that there was a stripe in the center of the car where the paint hadn't been blended properly and the side metal accessory hadn't been stuck on fully. They told him to bring it back in whenever it was convenient. When I landed there (now in the second hour of sunk pickup/dropoff time), they asked if I had an appointment, and I said no, they had said to just drop it off. They thought it would be a good idea for me to return after the weekend, since the car would just be sitting for a few days before they could get to it. That would have been awesome to know before driving out there. On the second dropoff I showed the manager two scratches in the paint and asked for a quote since the car was back in again. The manager said they would take care of two scratches as a courtesy for our having to come back twice. When my husband arrived to pick up the car (now into the third hour of our driving to/from 3D and waiting for dropoff/rental cars/pickup service), not surprisingly, they had done nothing extra. They sent it back (while my husband, an independent contractor, waited) and did something halfhearted and ineffective. Another review mentions fraud. I don't like to go down conspiracy channels but that, seriously, is what occurred to me as I drove away, since no one can stay in business while providing such shoddy services. The embedded Enterprise rental franchise was doing a slamming business, not surprisingly, and their customer service was all the way (which is a bit far, actually). So ironic that the sign at 3D says "Please complain." The follow-up should be, "So we can actively ignore your complaint but still make all of the money paid to us for insurance-funded repairs." The. 1. Timing - I had my car here for wheel cap / tire replacement & bumper repair...took them a week. 2. Quality - Any time you get your car back from an auto body shop & they tell you to take it somewhere to fix something they did wrong. Instant red flag. 3. Customer Service - Owner/Manager of the location took zero responsibility for returning my car with a new problem. They then sent me else where to get what they did wrong fixed, covering zero of the incremental cost. read more

So I hit a dear and my insurance recommended this shop. I was pleased with the courtesy and service as the staff member drove me back home after dropping off the vehicle. The repairs were completed ahead of schedule and they communicated directly with the insurance company for payment. My Jeep was recently involved in an accident and my insurance company suggested 3D Auto for the repair work. I looked at their reviews and noticed most people had left negative comments. I'm new to the area so I decided to risk it because I didn't know anywhere else to go. I just want to let everyone know that 3D Auto does GREAT WORK! My Jeep looks brand new and flawless. We are very impressed with the great experience we had when we selected 3D Auto Body and Collision in West Chester for our car repair. Right from the start, they were professional and accommodating. Rob provided us with a prompt estimate and was flexible being able to work with us directly or through our insurance, including a car rental. Additionally, the estimate from 3D was 30% less than our comparison estimate, because 3D didn't need to replace an extra part of the front end in order to make the car look great. Rob was prompt in answering questions and providing information, but not pushy about taking on the job. Our car was finished up and looks great. We were so pleased that we took our second car in just to get an estimate for scratches. Once again, Rob took the time to provide an estimate, and he even cleaned up some of the scratches himself while providing the information. The thing I liked is that he was just as generous with his time in explaining and preparing an estimate for this small repair as he was with our other car. I've hesitated to ask about this car, because I once took it to a local collision shop, and they never bothered to get back to me, so I assumed the job was too small. But Josh took the time to reach out and show me the work they had completed to replace the mirror of our minivan - and he even buffed out a scratch as a courtesy. We brought our car for repair estimate Nov. 30 and agreed to get the repairs made by 3D which they gave a date of Jan. 7 for having parts and start the work. The car dropped off on the weekend to make sure they have as early as possible. No updates, no communications, no estimate of when work will be completed. After a rude phone conversation with a phone operator, asked to speak to a manger who was RUDE and arrogant. The estimate said we will get a status report daily once they have the car which the manger said he will not do for at least 3 days from today. My car is in parts at their mercy !! All these and we were customers for over 28 years.. They need to improve their customer relations.. read more

It's usually not a good thing when you need auto body work. But it's good to have a good one to use and this place qualifies. The Good: They were professional and courteous. In addition, they updated us by text daily on the progress of the work needed. The most important part is that the work looks great, they completed it a day early, and they even washed our vehicle. The Bad: Just a few little things like the slightly awkward parking in front of the office on Boot Road and the slightly precarious steps outside leading down to the main area. The Ugly: Nothing to report here. I would recommend this place to anyone needing auto body work. They even saved decals from the area that was damaged. I would give them 4 1/2 stars. They had my car a month for repair. I arrived to pick it up and the rear tailgate and bumpers were not even lined up plus there was overspray. I then left it for another two weeks. 6 months later the bumper started to unclip on one side then the other. I went back again and they said they needed the car overnight. Today I'm supposed to drop it off and now they claim they don't need it overnight and can address it in 10-20 minutes. Would you recommend them? BTW, my car was only a year old when it was first to them. read more

When I originally booked an appointment for my car, I arranged for a luxury rental. I ended up having to wait about an hour for a Hyundia SUV, which was far from luxury. When I came to pick up my car, there were still marks on my door handles and places they had obviously just hit quickly with touch up paint. It was like they rushed my fixes. To make matters worse, when I went to get my $500 deductible out of the center console, it had been stolen. There was trash in my car that was not there when I dropped it off (cups, straws, etc) and all the gift cards that were in my center console were put in my cup holder. There was NO reason for anyone to be in my center console at all. The manager, Dean, hardly said a word and tried to cover up his worker's criminal acts by throwing paperwork in the police officer's face. The police reiterated that theft is still a crime. This shop is a disgrace and I highly recommend against going here. Geico stated that they will reconsider having them as a recommended shop. . read more

I was referred to 3D by my insurance company when I put in a recent claim. I called them, asked if I could drop off my car on Sunday and leave my keys in their drop box - they said yes. They called Monday and said I needed to come in and sign a waiver. I asked if they could email it to me so I did't have to come in, I explained I was leaving on a business trip that morning - they said yes. I was then called back again and they said I had to come in....the caller said the manager required me to come in. So I was on the way to the airport and my car was there and they weren't going to provide me with an estimate or repair the car until I came back in and signed their waiver...I ended up picking up my car and taking it somewhere else. I felt like there was no level of customer service. read more

Your 6 million dollar investment in your Conshohocken shop will only strain your other shops. I had sent a car here back in March in 2016 to have body work done after a collision with a deer. It was one of the best and easiest experiences I have ever had. USAA is my insurance and said that I had to come here for an appraisal of my vehicle. Fortunately for me, I know Bridgette who at the time, was working at the front desk. I set up my appointment they appraised my vehicle and started working on it that day. After a week, I had my Dodge Challenger back in action. I will be taking all my future bodywork here (knock on wood). Great customer service and excellent work on the car. They are fast and professional. They had even arranged me a ride to the Enterprise for a rental for the week! read more

Awful experience for women! My car was unrepaired with no updates for several days. Meanwhile I'm paying for a rental car this entire time. No consideration. Businessmen with luxury cars treated like royalty. A women with a Honda, completely rude and misogynist. When I called to receive an update I was told " Nothing's been repaired because there is nothing to do right now." Excuse me? I'm paying per day for a rental car and nothing has been done. I come to find out they called a State Farm agent out to "investigate" days later because they didn't believe me on how my car got damaged. That is fine, do what you need to do, but at least communicate what is going on to the customer who is paying for a rental car per day. I was paying cash regardless of the investigation because the quote was less than $500. Still nothing was done! Finally my boyfriend decided enough was enough and went in to have a talk with these guys and suddenly, magically the repairs began. Awful experience for a women just trying to handle a repair. I was treated ENTIRELY unfairly. It's intimidating for women to handle auto body shops alone to begin with and these guys made it 100 times worse! I still can't believe this to this day. It's 2019 and women still get mistreated and taken advantage of in the autobody environment. It's a shame. Don't let your wives or daughters go alone because they won't care about her our her vehicle- and probably won't believe how the damages occurred either. read more

Just had my Jeep fixed after an accident. The entire crew was nice. Their first concern was if anybody was hurt. The estimate was fair even though it was under my deductible. I ended up paying for the whole repair. They have drinks (soda, water and coffee). When I picked up my vehicle the outside and inside was cleaned and detailed. This was the third time I had a vehicle repaired there and if I ever need a vehicle fixed after an accident I will go back. read more

I've taken my cars to 3-D auto body & collision center in Wayne 3 times over the years. First time great work, all good. Then, the next 2 times we had issues with them (good work each time) but -- I noticed that they took too much $ on the card and it took multiple calls and a whole week to get our $ back to us. Next time we actually brought 2 claims to them for the same car - they gave us no discount at all, and double charged on one of the repairs. Their motto is laughable - we talked to them, wrote to them, to no avail. read more

The contract they make you sign before accepting your car for repairs includes language that makes them not responsible for your car in case of theft, fire or damages. The person at the desk said such claims would be handled by my own insurance, and that is was really more for the possessions inside the car. But by signing this contract, you waive or weaken any chances of subergation between your insurance company and theirs for damages that would be their responsibility. My agent at All State advised me that this was an extreme request, and not a normal contract for a body shop. They would not do the repair unless I signed. I walked away. I am not doing business like that. read more

No one ever hopes to have to use a collision repair place, but if you DO have to, 3D is the shop you should use. Some idiot hit my brand new Prius in December, and I was directed to 3D Collision on Boot Road, West Chester, to do the repairs. I didn't have high hopes -- I've never had a good experience with a collision place -- but this shop was fantastic, from start to finish! Even though it was right smack during the holidays, they made everything easy: they assessed the damage and gave me the lowdown on what would be repaired and what would be replaced, they had GEICO right there in-house to take care of me, and then Enterprise brought the rental car right to me at the shop. The people at the shop were great, too: they have a small but very well appointed waiting room, with a single brewer for coffees/teas, a fridge full of cold drinks, and usually some kind of candy or snack. The people are communicative, friendly, and above all, HONEST. They did everything they promised, and more. I can't say enough for how well I was treated here, and what a great job they did on making my car look brand new again. I hope to never need a collision repair place again, but if I *do*, I know exactly where I'll go: 3D in West Chester. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! I recently had some damage done to my Honda SUV 2013 EX ( Left Fender little damaged) and brought it to 3D Collusion , in West Chester, PA to get it repaired. I read the reviews on few website and since there were more positive reviews I decided to give them a try. MY BIG MISTAKE. While the person who gave me estimate turns out to be very easy to deal at that moment, but the problem was he gave me an estimate of $1100, which was $400 more than the actual work required, Which I came to know afterwards . They suggest me to change left side fender and re-paint it. Once I received the estimate I called them to fix the date as when I can drop my SUV .. Only problem was they didn't have open slot for next two weeks. So they suggested me to take my SUV to their other location in Wayne, PA. When i reached Wayne location, they took my SUV and told me that it will take 5 working days. I got a call from them after 3 days and was told my SUV is ready to be picked up. I was happy because they fixed my SUV in just 3 days instead of 5 days. When i reached the workshop and stared looking the work they did I saw a BIG COLOR difference between the Fender they had changed and my original SUV color. When i asked them to take a look the owner stared all his BULLSHIT Tactic on me. First he said yes i can see that difference, We will fix it but I have to pay another @350- dollars. When i asked why the hell I have to pay for your poor job, he said the quote you got was from different location and not from us and also that you are paying for this Damage and not your insurance , so any work we do if it is not correct we again charge our customer. DID YOU READ WHAT I WROTE IN MY LAST LINE. I was so pissed with this ass hole I just cannot say. I had a big fight with them and then he said ok we will repair your SUV but it will be next week. You can take your SUV back and come next week, but you have to pay money now. I did that and took back my SUV. When i called them when to come they said I have to pay that $350 or else they will not repair my SUV. Please don't go to this Workshop for any repair. They do a VERY POOR job and second they are Liar. read more
