It was 91* on this August afternoon and the office, waiting and procedure rooms were clean and very cool not warm or hot at all. I paid out of pocket at checkout and $399.00 was my bill. Yes of course United Healthcare denied my coverage with their explanation "it was determined this service is not medically necessary". Why is allowed that some moron sitting behind a cubicle in Minnesota allowed to override my sports dr opinion and treatment? Anyway, the staff here at MRI of Southfield are friendly, explain things as we go along, professional and accommodating. Just FYI, the same MRI at Henry Ford is $415.00 and they were scheduling into October. We will definitely come back for any imaging needed in the future.

During the MRI, I was explained what would happen, how long the procedure would take, and received updates regarding how much time was left during the scan. I was also able to have copies of the report faxed to my doctor's office, as well as receive a copy of the report emailed directly to me.

That was not acceptable. I called MIND and got an appointment ASAP. I saw the incredible Dr. Fellows and his resident. The time and care they took to gather my information surprised me. Then they discussed my case, came up with a plan, returned, and spent more quality time explaining the plan to help me. Part of the plan was carried out by Dori, who expertly arranged to get my MRI on the same day if I was willing to wait a bit. I did. The team was fantastic. My whole experience has given me a sense of relief knowing that a group of people is willing to take the time to find ways to bring relief, so I can begin functioning and enjoying my life once again. I would not have come for a treatment that wasn't covered, I called prior and yet still received a bill. I wasn't notified of the problem until after the treatment. Get written documentation the expensive treatments will be covered before you proceed. They are not helpful after.

From music, massage and pet therapy to an incredible care coordinator, rabbi, and legacy book writer, we took advantage of everything we could for my dad when we were told that his time left with us was limited. Rabbi Rachel, especially, provided so much empathy, care, and advice for my family during an extremely difficult time. My dad is the most resilient, miraculous man I know and he defied the odds and is still with us today... almost a full year after we worked with this organization. So, we're no longer using their services at the moment, but I would absolutely attribute some of his recovery to the wonderful hospice team, and I will forever be grateful for the legacy book that we have to remember my dad for years and years and years to come.

He hates tight spaces and is borderline claustrophobic, he was trapped for almost two hours, unable to move and when he asked to get out, they told him to just stay because they almost had it fixed. He was laying on his stomach, and they told him to just wiggle his fingers and he would be out soon. He definitely does not recommend this place, go elsewhere.

They offered transportation services at no cost and were very prompt with the pickup. I arrived to the office and was immediately assisted. The girls at the front were very welcoming and assured me that I would be seen in just a few minutes. The office has a very comforting environment and vibe where refreshments, snacks and drinks are available to enjoy. It was very quick service and the machine was wide and didn't interfere with my claustrophobia. I was comfortable in it.
