The 5 star reviews are all true! I have a light colored sectional and a poorly behaved dog. This couch was seriously an eyesore and embarrassment. If I could give Rob and his team 10 stars I would! He immediately responded to my inquiry for water extraction in my sons apartment after returning home and finding the water heater in his apartment had broken and flooded his 2 back bedrooms. After apartment maintenance failed to properly extract the water and left my son with sopping wet carpets, one small humidifier and a foul odor, not planning to return until after the weekend, I reached out to 3D Carpet Cleaning. He had a crew out first thing the next morning, which happened to be the Saturday after Hurricane Ian. He went right to work extracting SO much water, sanitizing the carpets and properly setting up dehumidifiers and fans in both rooms. He advised my son every step of the way on what they were doing and even sent me videos for our records! The professionalism, attention to detail and courtesy these guys extended is outstanding and I cannot thank them enough for saving my son's furniture and his sanity in a very stressful situation! Here is my experience- On May 14, I asked for several quotes to steam clean the sectional in my leased condo before I moved out. Three companies got back to me with a quote. As you can see in the first picture, I included the measurements of the sectional and details about what I wanted done in the job. I was quoted $175 flat rate from Robert, the owner. This included the steam cleaning, deodorizing, and sanitizing. This is all documented in the second screen shot. The cleaner arrives this morning at 8 am, looks at the sofa and tells me it will be $400 to clean, deodorize, and sanitize the sectional. I explain that I was quoted $175. The guy called the owner and talked to him. The owner tells him that because I found them on Yelp, they will give me a discount and do the cleaning for $300. When I questioned why the price was SO different (I realize that sometimes estimates change) from the quote, I was told that I was only quoted for the steam cleaning and not the services of deodorizing or sanitizing. As you can see from my photo documentation, that is not the case- I was quoted for all the services. I sent the guy away, because I felt like I was being taken advantage of. The owner somehow saw that I was writing a review and offered to honor the original rate he gave me. He said he would do the work, tomorrow evening, but I have to give the keys back tomorrow, so that is not an option for me. Right now, I'm scrambling to find someone that can come in and do the job, today- which was why I scheduled it a week and a half ago. This was a waste of time that I don't have, right now. read more
