So happy I found this boutique fitness gym by my house after moving to Irvine. Nancy and Chris really welcome you into their fitness studio and it is a very supportive and encouraging environment. Let me start off by saying that I HATE going to the gym. But with 3D Fitness, I don't dread going to the gym. Chris and Nancy are so kind and even though I'm a dummy with gym equipment and exercises, they are always so helpful and check up on me and ask if I'm doing ok. You don't get that level of attention from any gym unless you get a personal trainer. I love that the exercises are dynamic and change daily, and it can be for any level so I can do what is appropriate for my health and level of fitness. They will never push you to go beyond what you are comfortable with, and are kind enough to show you alternatives if you can't do a certain exercise. Their schedule and availability are great too. I've been going to 3D Fitness for about 6 months. We found this by researching online and I must say, the reviews are spot-on. It's a small, husband/wife-run business and they are always super personal and greets you by your first name as soon as you enter. Classes are small and you never know what you're going to get when you walk in there as Chris cooks up a new routine every day. Fitness is their passion and it shows! Classes are a bit on the expensive side unless you get a monthly unlimited pass (a pack of 10 classes costs $31 per class for a 45-minute session), but class size is very small and I think it's worth it knowing I support a small, no-nonsense business run by people who really care. I started going to 3D Fitness towards the end of July 2023 as someone who hadn't exercised regularly for a couple years, didn't like or have the knowledge to plan my routine properly for the day, and lacked the motivation to go to the gym or even push myself when I got there since I gym by myself. I was looking for a class that could solve those problems, and 3D Fitness was perfect for me. The classes are 45 minutes of HIIT exercises that will guarantee to have you winded and sweating by the end of it, and you'll feel proud to have "survived" the session. The classes are small (4-12 people depending on the time and day) so you get individual attention from Nancy or Chris, and everyone is focused on what they're doing which creates this no judgement, productive atmosphere of people working out hard to finish the circuits which are different each day. As someone who's felt gym intimidation before, I never felt bad for not being able to keep up because everyone is nice and understands what it's like to start. My husband and I joined 3D Fitness earlier this year in our search to find a studio that catered to both of our workout preferences. I tend to gravitate more towards moderate strength training, spin and pilates-type classes while he enjoys more of a Crossfit-style workout and 3D Fitness was the perfect mix of all of those things for us. The 45 minute circuit training classes are challenging, effective and can be scaled for all ages and fitness levels. The vast age range of members in their 20s to their 50s is a testament to this. We've never once repeated the same workout as Chris and Nancy (husband and wife duo) are super creative and constantly change up the routine from day to day. Equipment is also top-notch which shows they value quality - they have Versa Climbers, Concept 2 Rowers and Ski Ergs and Airdyne Bikes just to name a few. We always leave class drenched in sweat, feeling majorly accomplished and excited to return for another round. We initially joined with just one goal in mind: to spend more time together after work while attempting to get into better shape.
