I've been going to 3D Fitness 4-5x/week for the past three years -- including all the way through…read moremy first pregnancy -- and it's easily one of the best decisions I've made. The workouts are strong, but that's not the differentiator. The community is. You see the same people consistently, and over time it becomes a tight, supportive group. It's rare to find a gym where you actually look forward to who's going to be there, not just what's programmed. Programming is thoughtful and well-balanced -- strength + high-intensity cardio -- and it never gets stale. Chris (owner/instructor) is especially good at reading people and pushing you just past where you think your limit is. You end up doing more than you expected, regularly. There's also real connection beyond the floor. They organize occasional events -- I recently did a cooking class with ~20 women from the gym -- and it adds another layer to the experience. I've always been active, but this is the first time in 20+ years I've been this consistent. That's not accidental -- it's because of the environment. If you want a place that will push you, keep you accountable, and make you want to show up, this is it.

I love walking into the gym not knowing what to expect, and being surprised by a new challenge each time. It keeps things fresh, fun, and far from boring--even after all these years! They've also added some new equipment, which has taken the workouts to another level--more dynamic, more engaging, and definitely more effective. The thought and creativity put into each class really show. This place isn't just a gym--it's a community and a source of daily motivation for both physical and mental health. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fitness routine that keeps you on your toes.

The gym is very well laid out and has all the equipment you could need. Tons of machines, a large free weight area with benches, a few heavy duty squat racks, cardio machines and a nice turf area. They also offer fitnesses classes, and apparently even have a sauna and a cold tub, but I didn't get a chance to use it. The gym is very clean, including the change rooms. The change room has a shower and lockers with built in locks. The front desk staff were super lovely. I'd recommend checking this place out as a visiter or for a regular membership!

I've tried everything--from traditional gyms to ClassPass and CrossFit, until my sister introduced me to Ark Fit. The facility has all the equipment you could need, but what truly sets this place apart are the coaches + staff. They have created a warm, welcoming environment and built a supportive community. Open gym is always a vibe and kept so clean. The classes are as challenging as you want them to be, and coaches meet you where you're at. Every coach brings the same positive energy, understanding, and kindness to each class. Regardless of your fitness level, you'll never feel lost or left behind. If you're looking for a gym that combines expert coaching, an incredible community, and a truly welcoming atmosphere, Ark Fit is the place to be.

After signing up, I found out it was actually $30 per month, so I immediately requested to cancel. On July 14, 2026, Antoine told me my membership would be canceled and that I would receive a full refund. A week later, I still had no cancellation confirmation and no refund. Then I received an email stating that my annual fee and membership fee totaling $89.99 are scheduled to be charged on July 23, 2026, despite being told my membership was being canceled. I've tried reaching out by text and phone, but I have not been able to get an update. I have kept all of my text messages documenting what I was told. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision and ask for everything in writing before signing up. I hope management reviews this situation, resolves my account, and improves the experience for future members.

The results speak for themselves. The physical changes are noticeable, but more importantly, the consistency, energy, and overall mindset shift have been just as impactful. What truly sets this location apart is the coaching staff and the community. The coaches strike the perfect balance between motivating, encouraging, and keeping things fun (even during the toughest sets). They push you when you need it, support you when struggling, and genuinely care about your progress. Equally important is the community. What started as a group of people working out together has naturally evolved into real friendships. That kind of environment is rare and important to me. If it were not for the great people here, I would have stuck with my other Fitness membership. Speaking of which, in full transparency - I still have another fitness membership elsewhere. However, I have not touched it in months. If one is looking for a place that delivers results, keeps you engaged, and surrounds you with the right people - this F45 Tustin location is the place to be.

They have many class options but they do seem to get busy because they're waitlisted on the app. I managed to passport one Saturday morning. I liked the trainers, the vibe and the music. The DJ arrived for the class after mine so I missed out on that but I still liked the music. I noticed the gym was air conditioned which was different to mine. The instructor's were great at walking around and giving you tips on your workouts. The workout was amazing as always, it's really as hard as you decide to push yourself. So you could have an easy workout by doing body weight exercises or you could lift heavy. Easy parking in the lot up front.

The pool is useless if you are serious swimmer. Frequently 90°, I'm overheating after 300 yards. This pool is for geriatrics and kids. Also for their pool parties but not for real swimmers. Workout area is great, lots of racks. I hate the lighting though. The ceiling is covered in outdoor parking lights. I don't think it bothers anyone else but it's offensive to me. I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. There as a recovery area where there are massage chairs, Normatec goodies for use and hyperice massage guns....and vibration plates. Very nice! Is it worth it. When I answered, the hiring manager(I assume, she didn't bother introducing herself) conducted a phone screening but came across as impatient and condescending throughout the conversation. I understand that recruiters are often busy and screening many candidates, but first impressions matter. Regardless of whether someone is hired, applicants deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect.

UPDATE (AUGUST 2026)…read more I'm updating my original review because unfortunately my experience changed significantly over the two years I trained with Jonathan Brown (Body by Jonny). Based on my experience, I can no longer recommend Jonathan due to what I consider unethical and poor business practices. During what I didn't realize would be my final training session, I showed up mentally and physically exhausted. I pushed myself as far as I could but didn't have the energy to finish the full hour. I told Jonathan I wasn't feeling it, wished him a good weekend, and left about 15 minutes early. A short time later, I received a text from Jonathan stating that I was no longer welcome as a client, without any prior discussion or explanation. At the time, I had prepaid for 36 private training sessions and had 15 unused sessions remaining. Despite Jonathan being the one who terminated our training arrangement, I received only a partial refund--approximately 41% of what I had paid for the remaining sessions. When I questioned the amount, he essentially told me that I had already been given a good deal and that "the least" I could do was not give him attitude. I never negotiated his pricing or asked for a discount. I simply paid the rates he quoted me. Whatever price a business chooses to charge does not change the fact that I prepaid for services I ultimately did not receive. I was also never provided with or signed a contract stating that unused prepaid sessions would be forfeited or refunded at a reduced amount if he chose to terminate the training relationship. What I learned from this experience is that a good price isn't a bargain if it comes at the expense of the service, professionalism, and business practices you're paying for. Based on my experience including the abrupt termination and failure to fully refund my unused prepaid sessions I cannot recommend Jonathan Brown or Body by Jonny.
