I also wanted to get back into shape... since i turned 40, it has been difficult to lose weight doing what i used to do (counting calories, intermittent fasting, keto, etc). my weight would always yo-yo. Steve's nutrition program is like no other ! OCFit Irvine was one of the best decisions I made in 2024, I made plenty of other not so great decisions ones, so it was time to make better ones. Like many people I packed on a ton of weight during covid, was "in a relationship" with Doordash, and struggled to stay consistent with anything to keep it off. Before doing the 21 day shred challenge I followed Steve's Instagram for *over* two years before ever trying or doing work out. Finally, after being told I was "pretty but fat" a couple more times than I desired, I got pissed off enough to prove some assh*les wrong , and committed and the made the decision to try to 21 Day Shred Challenge. The experience was so thorough and guided with Steve and the coaches that I ended up doing the 21 day shred for *4 months* and lost 20lbs. No drugs, no surgery, just a significant change in my food and workouts. After trying many other diets, I literally just wanted someone to tell me "do this and this" and will work, and I got exactly that from Steve. No guesswork. I'm 5'2 and went from 180 to 160 during the 4 month shred and dropped a whole jean size and had to buy all new jeans. More importantly, I didn't feel like I was doing anything crazy except working toward my goal- drop weight and seek vengeance. If you wanna go fast and are ready to stop screwing around with your weight go to OCFit. Lastly, You will see folks of all fitness levels here and it was extra encouraging to see the super strong women at this gym preparing for their hyrox competitions. That being said, I found getting the myzone monitor helped me "keep the blinders" on and focus on myself during the workouts and stay engaged with my own personal progress.
