The 2 stars is only because of the large selection of products they carry. Now as far as customer service goes, or standing behind the products they sell, I would rate them a negative amount of stars. They apparently have a "store policy" of no refunds, returns, or exchanges if it isn't done the same day as the purchase is made. On one occasion I purchased a disposable all in one vape pen. I purchased 3 that day and waited 2 days before opening one of the pens. When I took it out of the box it was covered in vape juice and the pen itself was totally fried and did not work whatsoever. Thinking I could exchange it since it was clearly a defective product, I go back in to the store. They told me that all issues must be handled by the manufacturer directly and that they do not offer returns or exchanges for any vape disposal pens. Mind you, this was a $25 vape. I would've gotten more use out of my money giving it away to a homeless person! But nevertheless, I let it slide and accepted their answer. I suppose someone could have taken it home, used it and then dropped it causing the vape to end up in similar condition to the one I purchased. So I decided to just take the L on this one. Fast forward a few weeks, and I go in to the store and have a mini shopping spree for myself. I spent over $150 that day and one of the items I purchased was a cart battery by "ooze". Again, a $25 item. I get home and excitedly go through all my cool new stuff I bought. Not even a week goes by and I open the ooze battery to try it out. I plugged it into the charger that comes with it and almost immediately the light turns green, indicating the battery is fully charged. I unplug it and press the button 5 times to turn it on and nothing happens. I mess around with it for about 10 mins before realizing I definitely got a dud. I think to myself, "no biggie, I still have all the packaging right here and it's very obvious this item has not been used at all. I'll just take it in and explain what happened and swap it out for a new one"... if only it were that easy. I get into the store and there's a guy working and a chick sitting in a chair behind the counter who I suppose was supposed to be considered working too. I tell them the situation and they immediately tell me the manager is very strict about no refunds, especially since I didn't bring it back the same day I bought it. I explained that I purchased a LOT of things that day and it took me a few days to go through everything. After being shot down again, I ask for a manager or corporate level number if there is one. Right after asking this the chick says to me " there's signs everywhere. We would have to take a loss if we took back items like this so we don't offer refunds" with a nasty attitude while making an ugly face at me, as if I was stupid. I looked at her and said "actually, there are no signs whatsoever that say y'all don't EXCHANGE defective products, not to mention OF COURSE YALL WOULD TAKE THE LOSS. Why the f*ck should I have to lose my money for a product that YALL decided to sell without testing first and refuse to stand behind?? It's an idiotic argument she was trying to make but finally the guy who was working seemed to get my point and said "fine, I'll exchange it this one time and show you this one works. But Once you leave here with it, that's it." Okay?!! Duh. That's all I wanted this whole time. Then he hands me a battery that yes, does work, although he won't give me the box or any packaging for it. Not the instruction card, nothing. No proof of purchase card that comes in the box either. There is clearly no customer service training done by management here and the business practices this company "runs" on are more like scams than business practices. This is only 2 out of multiple issues I've had with products they sell in the past, but these are the most recent so I figured they would be the most relevant. Safe to say, I have learned my lesson. I won't be leaving the store with anything before having an associate show me the product is not defective first. I suggest you do the same, or shop elsewhere. (If it weren't across the street from my house I would've already made my final purchase there months ago!)

This is a cool smoke shop. It is the only real one I've been to while visiting Dallas. The last…read moreone was a phony one, it was actually a video slot game room. The employees all seem either very happy or very high. Especially, the girl & darker skinned guy. He is really jumpy when it comes to displaying how products works & extra nice. I don't think the white guy employee liked that very much. The other employee is a white guy, he wears a hat. He smiles a lot & has always greeted me when my boyfriend & we walked in. He is cool, but I think when the darker skinned guy is off ranting about crazy stuff that the other guy seemed to get very uneasy around his customers. You can notice how nervous he becomes his whole mood changes. I kinda want to tell him to chill.. man. While the darker skinned guy is still bubbly & wild. I think the white guy should not alter his emotions even if it makes him feel uncomfortable. On the other hand, the white girl employee was really cool. Even though we asked a question and she told it all even unrelatable stories. She knew her stuff. Very mellow. You won't get that "eyes always on you" vibe or that "overpowering employee must talk while you lose your train of thought" vibe here.. I hate those vibes. Their selection ain't hoarders house, it is though very well kept & organized. Especially, if prices and keeping to a budget is problematic. And cheap pipes are considered cheap. So, if you accidentally drop it, it will break on the instant. The glass is just not as thick as the high dollar ones. The white guy employee with the hat is very knowledgeable on the pipes & how they are made. He even makes them on his on spare time. Glass blowing is awesome! However, I didn't understand why the all the employees in which we met kept putting their mouths on products just to show how it works. I hope they sterilize the products before they sell. Great shop! Very mellow, laid back, bubbly, extra happy & nice employees. We should chill.

I asked if I could look at a different brand product and Jenn said, "I have your cash and you have my receipt and it says, " no exchanges, no refunds!" Very rude and nasty. The product I wanted was even more expensive so the shop lost a profit. They also lost a customer. Ask for Jenn and if she's there walk out. Better yet find a better business. As someone who enjoys the leaf, upon moving to Dallas 7+ years ago, finding an awesome cigar shop…read morewas a priority for me and Cigar Warehouse quickly became that place. During this time, they relocated from a much smaller location to where they currently reside which has a lot more space. They took advantage of this space and created a huge walk-in humidor along with establishing a couple of lounge areas which included TVs. As with everything else, due to the arrival of covid, they have made a few adjustments to ensure safety. For openers, as per local ordinance and mask is required to enter the store. Both entrances to the walk-in humidor have hand-sanitizer stations with signs requiring the use of the hand-sanitizer before entering the humidor. They are restricting the lounge capacity to allow for physical distancing. The staff here continues to be very knowledgeable when it comes to cigars and the necessary accessories. They are very aware of their inventory and whether a specific item is available. In the event it is unavailable, they will recommend something similar to try. On my most recent visit, I called ahead of time to check on two different cigar labels, one which they had and unfortunately, the other they do not stock (it is a boutique/small batch cigar label which can be difficult to locate). These are interesting time we are currently experiencing and places like this are adjusting as best they can to safely accommodate customers. To assist with this, you can call ahead and place your order which they will have at the counter upon your arrival. Cigar Warehouse continues to be my cigar shop of choice. If you are a #BOTL or #SOTL, I highly recommend checking them out.
