My wife and I just received the final delivery of our video package from Duy and we're blown away. I can safely say that this is the most worthwhile investment that we made for our wedding day. Let me rewind and start from the beginning. I was referred to a handful of videographers prior to our wedding. When I came across his work, I was immediately drawn in. Cinematic footage, beautiful but natural color grading, super dramatic and exciting video editing, and cohesive storytelling. I thought to myself, jeez I hope our wedding videos turn out this great. I reached out to Duy and he was great to work with right off the bat. Answered my questions promptly and made sure that I had all the information I needed to confidently book his services for our big day. Fast forward to closer to our wedding day, and Duy made sure he had our schedule and all the details needed for a successful full day. Duy and his team are AMAZING!! When my husband and I were shopping for a wedding videographer, we didn't find too many that we were WOWed by, they were more of an "Aite". I asked my sister for recommendations since she was getting married a few months before me and she recommended 3L Films. We watched a few of the highlight videos and immediately loved their style! I would give 3L Films team 100 stars if I can. My journey planning my wedding started over 1.5 years before my wedding date. I love it that Duy and Nga gave us a list of questions to answer before diving into picking a package. Not only did they do our video but Nga also provided suggestions for our timeline. My wedding venue was originally outdoors at Preservation Park but Come the week of the wedding, the weather says it would rain on our outdoor wedding. Duy and Nga was so good about the change we had to make to our venue and kept us calm throughout the process. 3 days before the wedding, we decided to change our wedding to Mission Paradise Banquet Hall 30 mins drive away from Preservation Park. 3L Films really went above and beyond to make sure we had good footages for the film and made sure to stop us as needed to capture those moments. We had an issues with our hotel room not being ready on time the day off and missed a chance to do our wedding party photos and other footages. Post the wedding, the team worked with us to fit in another shoot to make sure we had a good product at the end. I don't know of many team s that would do that for you. We found Duy because he was referred to us by Dreambook Productions. We checked out his website and his previous highlight videos and liked his work off the bat. During our search for a videographer Duy was very accommodating and responsive with emails and/or calls so we decided to go with him. We had to fill out some paperwork, answer some questions about our relationship, and send over the contract Duy and I both agreed on. We requested our video to be private therefore, off social media and his website. There was an additional fee for this request but we didn't mind. On the day of the wedding, Duy and his assistant (wife) came a bit early to set up and get prepared. Duy and his wife were so easy to work with. They basically followed us around without us even knowing where they were sometimes. They went about their ways and only talked to us when needed, which was maybe once or twice the whole night. This worked out great for us because we were getting pulled left and right for everything. The waiting process for our finished video takes up to 3 months and we finally got it recently and we absolutely loved it! They did an awesome job and picked such a beautiful song for our video. 3L Films was our videographer for our wedding this past June and they ROCKED IT. After researching literally dozens of wedding videographers (I definitely did my homework), I stumbled upon 3L Films. I watched a few of their highlight videos and liked their style: smooth transitions, steady filming, a background song with some voiceovers, and good coverage of all the important moments of the day. When I got a price quote from Duy, I was amazed that their prices were so reasonable because other companies were asking for 5K+ for pretty much the same thing! I was sold. After we hired 3L Films, Duy had us fill out a short questionnaire about ourselves and what video style we liked. I appreciated how he incorporated our personalities, the overall feel of our wedding, and our preferences into our final video. (e.g. I mentioned in the questionnaire that our wedding vows were really important to us, and Duy masterfully weaved our vows into our entire Highlight Video) Duy was very friendly and maintained great communication, whether it was answering my many questions or giving us status updates on our final videos after the wedding. He was also flexible and accommodating. He rushed to edit our Highlight Video in under 2 months so we could showcase it at our 2nd reception and we were so thankful! Duy and his team arrived promptly on the day of our wedding. They were efficient, professional, hard-working, nonintrusive, polite to everyone, and worked well with our photographer. We hardly noticed they were there, but they managed to capture every moment! We had an ambitious pre-ceremony schedule and a very packed reception schedule, but Duy's team covered all of it without skipping a beat. Their coverage and shooting skills were excellent. I forgot to tell Duy that we were doing a football play for our Grand Entrance, but he STILL got a fantastic shot of me throwing the football (and it was all fast-paced too). He and his 2nd shooter and assistant all got great angles, so by watching our video you can really get a sense of the full scene that was going on. We got our final videos on time in a cute little keepsake box. We LOVE our Highlight Video; the editing is amazing and they also incorporated some creative/artsy shots. It matched the style we wanted and represented our wedding day well (I hate when videographers waste too many precious minutes on fluff). Duy went above and beyond for us; he included some awesome drone footage in our highlight film and also made us a short Instagram Teaser video. We also ordered the Documentary Film and we're so glad we did! It comes with a Main Menu/Scene Selection, so now we can watch our whole wedding day in high quality without having to sort through a bunch of junk. I'd definitely recommend getting the Documentary Film along with the Highlight Video. I'm so glad we hired a videographer because they captured so many moments that our photographer just couldn't (and um, SOUND, obviously lol).
