This time it was JANUARY, FEBRUARY, and MARCH. which is common but that last manager told me my payment would not be due till May 1st. Well she's no longer there and I was trusting enough to not get documentation ( won't happen again) . Magically though they were able to text me that I owed $64 and some change . I tried for a whole week to get the new GM on the phone , never did . My physical therapist finally allowed me to get off bed rest on Friday to find out why I wasn't contacted and the 2 times I went the new GM wasn't there and was told he dosent work weekends ( hey good for him) , never heard of a GM not working on weekends, they are the last chance to seal the deal . This place has a lot of bad reviews and the are not exaggerated, but with that said you get what you pay for . If you join I would ask for a physical receipt and watch your Cc bill . Still as a gym it has everything I need besides good customer service . I'm a recent member of Snap fitness in Wylie, Texas, and I'm impressed by everything: the staff ,…read morethe equipment, the amenities (the little, very cosy, almost personal bathrooms with a shower, sink, and a little bench, small towels) which makes everything look more like a club than a community fitness place. Sarah and Melody are very friendly and helpful, a real blessing. Everything inside is sparkling clean which is very encouraging and gives a sense of safety when it comes to getting infected by germs and bacteria, etc. The location is excellent for me, and the fact that the gym is located in a very safe area of Wylie (right across from the Fire Station) enhances the security of anyone adventuring in the middle of the night. On top of it, a little incentive îs offered to its members (T-shirt, bag) which is nice even if they're meant for advertisement. Snap fitness is all worth it. I'm really thankful I found them. I like the treadmills on the mezzanine: great for people watching. I like the little mirrored nook full of workout machines in the corner around from the changing rooms I like the wide variety of yoga classes, and most of all I like the pool, hot tub and sauna room. They have a kids club and offer swimming lessons for children. Showers are mediocre. They have cheap curtains, soap dispensers, full of body wash (no shampoo or conditioner, no towel service) and the showerheads are kind of janky. The parking lot is a bit small and it can be hard to find a spot.

After class, Rachel gave us a tour of the facility and was incredibly welcoming and friendly, just like the rest of the staff. The gym itself is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean. I especially loved the white and tan interior design--it creates a bright, upscale atmosphere. The women's locker room is impressive, featuring lockers for personal belongings, a sauna, and a cold plunge. There are also convenient water refill stations throughout the gym. One of the most unique features is the slide, which definitely adds some personality and fun to the space! There's also an outdoor workout area in the corner for anyone who prefers exercising outside. Overall, Recess offers a great combination of high-quality fitness classes, excellent amenities, and a welcoming community. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

The A/C does not work! They have floor fans everywhere trying to keep it cool inside. I asked the front desk if the gym was always this warm and he said yes. I only walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes so it's not like I broke a huge sweat, but still way too warm for me! Also, many of the vinyl seats, etc. on their machines are ripped and cracking making it hard on my skin. What I did like is their treadmills have a monitor showing scenery that you can watch, touring different places while you walk/run.

I literally have to drive 10 miles a whole different direction just so I can actually tan. When I was trying to get my son signed and they acted as if I was bothering them. I have had my membership for over four years and I am really considering canceling it.
