We have never been paddle boarding before but have always wanted to try it. Kelly was so kind and patient when we initially inquired about the rental process. When we decided to go ahead and take the plunge and just do it making the appointment was very simple. The website was user friendly and easy to navigate. We showed up for our appointment and she had everything ready to go. She made sure that our life jackets were on properly and did not skip a single step. Her instructions and demonstrations on how to actually use the paddle board were easy to follow and very thorough. She also made sure that we were comfortable with our paddle boards before leaving. Out on the lake we got to see SO much wildlife, it was nothing like being in a motorized boat that's for sure. I have never considered myself athletic by any means and am far from being in shape but thanks to the equipment she provided as well as amazing instructions and answering all of my questions I can say I mastered the paddle board in no time! There was someone who helped us out with ensuring that we were aware of the instructions on how to operate the Wave-runner and the rules. We grabbed a life jacket and a plastic box to put our phones into the compartment in the waverunner. It was great time that we went at about 10:30am as it was not busy at all on a Sunday morning. It was a blast and we were disappointed that we only booked an hour, and definitely agreed that we will have to do a couple of hours so that we could get out to Lake Michigan the next time.

Action has had my lift cylinders for my Mastercraft boat life since last October and after…read moreattempting to install the lift last Tuesday May 18th and realizing the cylinders weren't repaired, we are now, 10 days later just before a holiday weekend, being notified we need new cylinders and maybe we can find a pair. This is unacceptable and below the credibility and reputation of Action Water Sports. The fact that Action didn't check the cylinders before my scheduled day of install is unprofessional. They also found a crack in a cross member of the lift and said to us "oh yeah, I think I remember that last year and didn't tell you." So we scrambled to find a portable welding service that day to weld the cross member to then find out about the cylinders leaking. There are no words on how disappointing we are in the quality of work performed from Action.

Then we found the perfect brand new pontoon on American Anchor website. It was perfect and the right price (believe me, we looked at hundreds of boats, mostly used and way overpriced). The boat was within the price we received for our 2016 pontoon. Unfortunately, it was Saturday, I was in a panic that it would be gone by Monday. My husband emailed the website, wrote that we were very interested and specifically what we wanted. Tim D. called us right back, said he could do everything we wanted and that the boat was ours. He actually called us back 2 times during his night off to answer our questions. I was so relieved and excited that the boat was ours and didn't have to worry it would be gone. We went in That Monday, saw the boat, and it was beautiful, just like the photos we had seen. They made our purchase very easy and we found the perfect boat for us. They had everything installed perfectly and ready to go in a very timely fashion. Tim even helped us order the diving board and had it installed. First time we had ever been there but in the future I will always go there for our boating needs. They texted us 5 minutes before our arrival that they wanted to meet us at 10pm instead.... We drove 1 hour so we just had to wait around... after an 1 1/2 hour of sitting in a parking lot waiting for 'Susie' we finally get to someone and they basically said yeah you won't be able to go today. Extremely unprofessional. Next to no communication whatsoever. Sad we wasted our vacation day to Michigan on this 'business'
