Everyone at 3rd eye meditation lounge is so warm and friendly when you enter that they make you feel like you are old friends that haven't seen each other in years and are so happy to be reunited. The ceremonial Cacao is absolutely delicious! You can have it warm or cold. I prefer it warm as it is very soothing. The space is the perfect size to create a more intimate and cozy setting which I love. The zero gravity massage chairs are unlike anything I've ever tried before. They put you into such a relaxed state you might catch yourself dosing off but that's ok no one will rush you away and you can get a quick midday power nap. The Gong Fu Cha tea ceremony is so stress relieving and beautiful that it always gives me peace and helps to slow things down a bit in a busy world. I highly recommend it. I love being able to create custom elixirs to be able to meet your specific needs. I tried the butterfly pea tea with nettles and cordyceps and it helped calm my upset stomach while tasting absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a place to meet open minded and kind individuals or just trying to unwind after a stressful day this is the perfect place to stop in. 3rd Eye Lounge has become my safe haven. As a busy, stressed out college student, it can be hard to find peace and serenity. After only have attending classes for a few weeks now, I have already seen a drastic change in the way I carry myself thanks to Neil, Ash and the support system I have gained. There is nothing more special and solidifying than feeling understood and that you are not alone, and this is the place where I feel most at home so thank you 3rd Eye. With a homey space and the cutest, most loving dog, I am excited to go meditate every week and feel at peace and as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulder after each session. No one knew what to expect and we all walked away beaming with light. This little meditation lounge is really amazing! Every time I have been in there has been some really cool conscious event happening with the sweetest people that I have met. Neil holds such a beautiful space welcoming members of the community. I was new in town and found this place right away and have met some wonderful people there who all made me feel at home. I love all of the practitioners that come in and offer their unique healing services! I have attended some lovely Sound Healing and cacao ceremonies as well as kirtans there. I met Neil through a 3rd Eye Tonic Tasting Party. Typically I am skeptical of tonic drinks and their makers but, Neil immediately impressed me as the real deal. I selected a couple in person classes and went to my first in person session excited to visit a studio that a couple of friends had recommended. First, the location is a bit odd, as I had been warned, but it's not nearly as difficult to find as people made it out to seem. Parking for my mid-day class was easy. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was greeted and given a tour of the studio, which is really charming and seemed to have all the amenities you might want. I love that they have a token system to indicate whether you're okay with being touched, storage spaces for your personal items, and a very calming light/curtain set up. The instructor and the class itself were fine! I've practiced yoga (mostly at home) for many years and was easily able to drop into the flow and pace of the class. I really love that the floor is cushioned and comfortable. It seems like there is a good range of class style options, but I did wish there were more options for classes (an early morning option would be ideal!) I also wish I had gotten a chance to take more classes in person, but I decided to take the remaining couple of classes that fit into my schedule virtually. After that first class, I overheard a complaint to the instructor about how their household was experiencing covid (?!?!?! I 100% realize this is not something a studio can control, but it made me feel uncomfortable that someone in such a seemingly health conscious, community-oriented, and small space would feel ok exposing people to potential risk like that.) Obviously I didn't get the same community feel in the livestreamed classes, but I did still feel somewhat included and able to communicate with the instructor, had I needed to. Big ups to O+L for offering virtual options for their classes to make them more accessible. Sam Pullen was the yoga instructor and the stand up comedian was Stephen Campbell. We enjoyed his authentic story telling and comedy while also doing chair yoga followed by a sound bath. Although I was a member of Flow Yoga at some point after it took over Yoga Yoga, you don't have to be a member to attend this event. The energy and relaxation was just what I needed after a long overseas trip. I look forward to checking out their future events!

The classes remain consistently intense and a fantastic workout. There's a wide range of classes offered every day, and I really appreciate the variety of instructors--you get to find your favorites over time, which makes the experience even better. The studio has a friendly vibe, and most of the spaces are clean. That said, there are usually some stray hairs on the studio floor and a persistent fly that seems to live in Studio 1 (it's become a bit of a running joke in my head). The bathrooms and locker areas, on the other hand, are always very clean and well-maintained. I also love that they provide two hours of validated parking for the nearby garage--super convenient. If I had to point out a couple of areas for improvement: I wish they cleaned the studio floors a bit more thoroughly between classes. I've started wearing socks anytime I'm not on my mat to avoid stepping on anything. I'd also love to see more studio-wide challenges. In the four months I've been attending, there's only been one (the Summer Glow Challenge in August), which was super motivating--it would be great to have more of these throughout the year. Overall, I love this studio, have an all-access membership, and plan to keep coming here for the foreseeable future!

This location is right across from Mueller Lake Park with plenty of street parking and a pay to park parking garage ($2 an hour but the studio covers parking here). There are 2 bathrooms with showers and a large locker/cubby area that also has a sink/vanity area. There are 2 class rooms that both have a wall of windows open to the street. I have really enjoyed taking classes here! It is clean and instructors are friendly. I recommend this location if you haven't checked it out yet. I love to go for walks in the park after taking a class for an extra cooldown. Happy flowing!

You can come in late, the welcome crying, naps, and anything you need to comfort your baby. I got some good stretching in and poses to balance my core. My little one had fun with tummy time on my legs and seeing new faces. Highly recommend!

Pretty cool place…read more This meditation group is pretty cool. I went in 5 mins. late and nobody cared. Everybody was super friendly and laid back. I got some tea and then listen to this girl talk about karma for 10 minutes. Apparently they do diff rent talks on diff rent basic Buddhist stuff. After the talk, we were free to ask question. (The talk was really clear, so I didn't have any questions) After that we did a guided meditation which was really nice. We talked some more after it all and the whole thing last about 45 mins. The meditation room was really nice. They had cool Buddhist stuff in it and a nice library. Definitely going back again.

I attended the Dave Romanelli Chocolate and Yoga workshop this morning at the new Bodhi Yoga…read morelocation out near the Galleria (the Dave Romanelli workshop was AMAZING, btw). I'm reserving the 5th star until I take one of their regularly scheduled classes. I didn't even know until I saw this special event advertised that Bodhi had opened a new location. Years ago I used to be a regular at the downtown location, but the classes got so crowded that I eventually looked for other studios. According to a classmate of mine this morning, the classes at the new location are still pretty small since they just opened. Even though it is a bit of a haul for me to get out there, it might be worth it to take a more intimate class with some of the instructors that I loved from the original location. This studio also has a small boutique and cafe in the front and the studio itself is really nice and clean with a wall of windows. I did find it funny though as we talked about taking life slower and not getting caught up in the rat race of life that I was looking at the sign for Best Buy in the reflection of the mirror.

The studio is beautiful and Blake's instruction was top notch. I can always tell when someone has mastered their craft. I would definitely visit this space again.
