Cute little ice cream spot for a quick treat. Sadly, 3 flavors were not available that we wanted to try, so I was a bit disappointed. I went with the single scoop pistachio, and it was ok. Bits of pistachio through out. Staff were friendly, greeted guests as soon as they walked in. Inside has a few tables, and some beautiful wall art. It's a standard ice cream spot.

Great location for a sweet treat after stuffing myself on sushi. Lots of flavors, but I went with an old standby (Rum Raisin) served as an ice cream sandwich between two big chocolate chip cookies, and it was a great choice. Service was fast and friendly, the shop was clean, and the prices were good too!

There were two younger women working here and they were both so nice! They offer samples and the ice cream is really good. It was a small place with nice tables and a clean bathroom. Unfortunately the sink in the bathroom was broken but they do have a handwashing sink available near the entrance. I had raspberry truffle and insta-graham in a waffle bowl and I enjoyed them. Also they have zephyrhills water which is my preferred brand and it can be hard to find something that is not Dasani!

The Ice Cream Affair is one of Lake Worth's best Ice cream in Downtown. There are plenty of flavors of ice cream and sorbets to choose from. There is both indoor and outdoor seating along the main road so you can people watch. Funny in the bathroom there are little Toilets for the kids that actually work as well as a mini sink in the front. They even have a little hand washing station. Try the Mango or Tangerine Sorbet.

All of the flavors look good, the line is moving, it's cool inside & I'm so so hot. We walked past the flavors, ordered, paid & our cones were brought to us. The prices here seem fair, they are double outside on the street. Lots of staff working the line. Happy to have a sink with soap to wash my hands and napkins. My cone was delicious!

Pros: Several flavors, I had the peanut butter chocolate and the coffee ice cream, both delicious. They have sinks to wash your hands in the common area, loved that feature. Cons: It smelled of sewage, not sure if they were having an issue, but it smelled like they were hiding a sewage smell with Fabuloso or some other strong floor cleaner, not ideal.

I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream:) Amazing flavors!! We got the carrot cake which I thought would just taste more like spice cake. It tasted exactly like carrot cake with walnuts. They had superman ice cream that looked fun for the kids. Totally geared for kids with little tables, sinks, & potties. Reasonably priced compared to competitors. Support this great local spot!

For 10 years downtown Lake Worth used to have a Kilwins on Lake Avenue until it closed in 2018 and moved to the beach. Within two months of Kilwins closing, Ice Cream Affair opened a few doors down from where the Kilwins used to be in the space formerly occupied by State Senator Jeff Clemens office. I popped in during the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival to check them out. I am glad that there is still a place to get ice cream because I always used to buy my daughter a cone during the festival. My first impression was that the shop was pretty basic. In addition to the ice cream, Kilwins sold all sorts of hand made candy and treats. It was more like an old fashioned ice cream parlor. The line at Ice Cream Affair was long due to the festival but the young staff really worked hard to get everyone through the line. They even handed out menus to people on line so they could check out the flavors before ordering to make the line move faster. I checked out the flavors and they had all the usual suspects. butter pecan, vanilla, Captain's chocolate ,strawberry. Mexican hot chocolate, cookies and cream, pistachio, and birthday cake are all on the menu along with more interesting sounding flavors like garbage can and Superman. As long as they have mint chocolate chip, and they did, I am fine. Two scoops in a waffle cone will set you back seven dollars and change. They also sell ice cream sandwiches. Ice Cream Affair isn't the fanciest of places but it gets the job done.

No vaping sign outside. It's next to a vape bar

The Ice Cream Affair is downtown Lake Worth's latest iteration of an ice cream shop. Location, location, location; it makes sense to stop in if you happen to be downtown already. They carry a freezer full of ice-cream sandwiches- easy to grab and eat if you are hanging in the vicinity. The store is nicely designed, with a tin ceiling, blue wallpaper and fake wrought iron tables. There are two separate small tables for children, and in the front of the store a child-size sink and adult sink for hand-washing. The flavors are run-of-the-mill, your normal fare. My son didn't care for the samples of insanely artificially-colored flavors that appeal to children, so we went with the ice cream sandwiches, pretty good chocolate chip cookies with an ample amount of ice cream inside. My son was satisfied with a few bites of one stuffed with vanilla ice cream and rainbow sprinkles on the sides. Mine was filled with raspberry truffle, but the flavors of this were lost inside the cookies. My son's was definitely better! The Ice Cream Affair suffers from a severe lack of information. There is nothing that I could see that tells us anything about why the store is there, who owns it, or- most importantly- what ingredients they use! I wouldn't visit here again without knowing this pretty important factor about their products, despite the kid-friendly atmosphere. The young staff members were very nice while ordering, but after that, they went back into hangout mode with each other and with their friends who came in to the store. Nothing wrong with that at all, but it isn't the environment I personally (as a no-longer-teenager) want to be in. I assume lots of teens visit here, since a printed flyer at the front counter advertises: bottled water, starbursts, skittles and ring pops. P.s. Please don't swear in front of children!

Cool, no problem... except there's literally no "order now" button or online ordering section anywhere on their website. The person on the phone insisted she could see the button on her end. Walked in less than 5 minutes later (place was practically empty except one other customer) and asked her to show me on her phone. Suddenly she couldn't find it either and got noticeably flustered. Felt like a straight-up lie to avoid taking phone orders. Ordered an açaí bowl at the counter. Ingredients looked fresh and it was made to order, but it still took a solid 10 minutes for something that should've been fast in an empty shop. The bowl itself was good -- nice fruit, decent portion -- but the peanut butter drizzle was that super-sweet, processed squeeze-bottle stuff that tastes like candy more than actual peanut butter. Kind of defeats the "natural" vibe. Paid almost $14 after tax... felt steep for what it was. The space is small and honestly feels cluttered -- random shelves, mismatched furniture, layout is a little chaotic. Not the chill, Instagram-worthy health cafe vibe you might expect. Bottom line: the food is decent if you're already nearby and not in a rush, but the customer service mishap and pricing left a bad taste. I'll probably pass next time unless they get the online ordering actually working (or just admit they take phone orders).

They were packed with filling which made them a bit difficult to eat but I prefer that over sparse filling. $15 for two tacos is a bit pricey but in general seafood tacos aren't cheap. The tacos came with chips and some fresh pico which was good but difficult to eat as the chips didn't fit inside the little plastic cup. The waitress didn't seem too friendly bur she took my order and delivered the food in a reasonable amount of time and it didn't take away from my dining experience. Overall a nice spot for a meal especially if the weather is good and you can sit outside.
