That said, the total came out to about $20 for two single-scoop waffle cones, which is very expensive. At that price point, I expect more than just decent ice cream--I expect a premium customer experience. Unfortunately, the service was underwhelming. The staff didn't really welcome us in, didn't explain anything about the shop or the flavors, barely smiled, and quickly disappeared to the back after serving us and had not returned even by the time we finished our ice creams. It felt like we were bothering them rather than being welcomed as customers. For nearly $10 per cone, the service needs to match the pricing. We told the staff it was our first time visiting, but instead of being welcoming or helping us with the menu, the lady who appeared to be in charge seemed impatient and rushed us while we were trying to order. For a first-time customer, that really left a bad impression. Overall: okay desserts, expensive prices, and poor customer service. Bianca and Harper took my family order today. They were super friendly and knew about the menu and had great recommendations. My brother in law ordered the strawberry and banana shakes and he said it was super delicious. I ordered a cookies and cream brioche and I didn't really like it because I tasted the bread more than I could taste the ice cream. My twin sister ordered the Cookie Monster brioche and she didn't like it too much as well. My mother ordered a chocolate ice cream cone and she said it was really good. My twin sis and I ordered a coffee affogato which came a scoop of ice cream. It was such an amazing coffee and I would go back for this coffee. I really like this location because there is a lot of restaurants nearby and they have a lawn that they have live concerts from 7pm-9pm on selected days. read more

We heard that Scoops had good ice cream and interesting flavors, so on a hot summer day, we stopped by for some scoops. The place is bright, fun and filled with old-fashioned (and new-fashioned) candies as well as an extensive lineup of ice cream choices. We were impressed with the variety of tempting items on the extensive menu board, including milkshakes, floats, sundaes and other assorted ice cream-based concoctions. Since we just wanted to try the Scoops ice cream in its pure form, we opted for a pair of medium sized cups, each of which can contain two different scoops. I chose the coconut ice cream, which was full of toasted coconut, and the chocolate chunk ice cream. It had several large chunks of dark chocolate. Both flavors were very good. My wife had two varieties of the moose tracks ice cream: regular, with vanilla ice cream, mini peanut butter cups, and fudge; and mint with mint chips and fudge. Both were excellent although the winner was definitely the mint flavor. All the ice cream flavors we enjoyed had a rich, creamy texture and plenty of mix-ins. The ice cream is made locally by The Ice Cream Club and has a reputation as a quality producer of premium ice cream. While the ice cream was delicious, the price was a tad high compared to some other ice cream shops. But ya gotta indulge sometimes! We'll be back to try some more flavors and maybe even some of the yummy looking creations featured on the menu. read more

The ice cream was great but the customer service was subpar. We ordered the banana split and got a lollipop for my son with the sticker price of $1.50. Per the menu the banana split stated it would be $12.95. When cashing out our total was $18 and some change. When we questioned the cashier, Abed, he stated he was unable to give us the receipt. I went back in and questioned why our total was more than the expected $15 we were going to spend. He stated their was an up charge for a substitute of the scoops of ice cream which wasn't stated to us when we asked to substitute a scoop and the suckler price in the lollipop wasn't what we were charged for it. The lollipop came out to being $3 and some change and there was no correct signage of the actual price for it. The ambiance was nice and the ice cream shop was clean. But they need to do better with their customer service and displaying the correct prices for items. read more

I spent 14 dollars for an Oreo milkshake that didn't include a cherry or Oreo crumbs like the picture showed. There is also a candy section that is usually a huge hit with the kids. I got the caramel cheesecake delight. The milkshake has dulce de leche ice cream, Lay's potato chips, peanut butter rim, a slice of New York cheesecake, chocolate and caramel drizzles, and whipped cream. It was SO yummy! The staff was great and pleasant. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. The prices are a little higher than expected. They provided recommendations and unlimited samples. We had a pressed croissant (literally scoops of ice cream inside a grilled croissant) and a medium cup with two scoops. We both loved the salted caramel (Vanilla ice cream, swirls of caramel, and brownie pieces)!!! Butter pecan and calypso chocolate were also to die for. I would give 3.5 if I could. I didn't find anything to be super exceptional since their ice cream is not homemade. It's ordered and then dished out. In all fairness, I did not try a milkshake, but even that would use the same ice cream. The service was great, and everybody was very friendly. The young lady that waited on us was funny and sweet. The decor and ambience of the restaurant was very fun! The bright colors are very south Florida. There is one guy who is really nice making it a fun experience but the last time I went this girl yelled at me for not pushing in my chair. My family and I went to Scoops last night. It was very busy but we waited in line patiently. There were three people working behind the counter, one being the owner. I noticed the scoops of ice cream were smaller than usual but didn't say anything. However when my son told the owner that his dad is a Palm Beach county educator which we knew entitled us to a 10% discount. That's not a lot but at first glance it would seem the family respects educators. When the owner asked for proof and was told he could show a school district email and license, the owner told him that was not acceptable so my husband showed him a card indicating he worked for the district. My son went so far as to tell him where he worked and his position and the owner said "yeah whatever." That definitely doesn't indicate he respects educators! As a matter of fact we felt extremely disrespected. We didn't get a receipt so not even sure if the discount was applied but it doesn't even matter for a mere 10%. The store itself is colorful and cheery, reminiscent of old fashioned candy stores, but the real star is the delicious ice cream, which includes lactose free and sugar free for those people who need it.
