Cute mom & pop floral shop that makes the most beautiful arrangements for all occasions. I stopped by Van's when I needed to buy my aunt a "birthday" bouquet. In about 10-15 minutes, they presented me with the largest, most colorful and pretty arrangement for only $25! (How could I forget to take a picture?!) I'm not from the area, but if you happen to be - I'd HIGHLY suggest getting your flower arrangements here. Van and his wife are hands down some of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met. I was helped by a gentleman, told him I was looking for a small birthday bouquet around $25-$30. Many people have reviewed that they received beautiful bouquets in this price range. It was my daughters 25th Birthday. I had fallen down some stair and sprained my foot 2 days before, I thought I could make it to her Birthday dinner at BJS in Moreno Valley about an hour & a half to drive. But I could not make the trip. I don't know why I didn't think about it earlier then 2 hours berfore her dinner, but I didn't. Called Van's Flowers and talked to David I told him what I wanted and that it had to be delivered to BJ'S within an hour and a half could he do this. He said no problem. I have to update big time: I just have my wedding flowers designed here. I did not like the designs on the catalogue book, but after discussing with the flower designer, she actually made a bouquet based on my request. She used light lime green rose which I have never seen decorated with little white flowers. It turned out beautiful!!!! She also designed all the center piece on the tables, the arch we had the ceremony, and especially, she surprisingly made one corsage as a gift for my dance and that was perfectly match my dress. Everyone loves the table flowers and my guests are fighting for them :D Btw, the sparkly rose is called the Hong Kong Rose. I will posted the pictures when I find out how to. read more

Pretty roses for my birthday last week. It's been 7 days and they are still as beautiful as they were when I first for them. Hubby days the owner is an Asian man who was very nice and friendly. He was very helpful and explained the "forever" roses which have a wire stem attached to each rose and dipped in a glitter and individually wrapped with a mesh and wire tie. I recently went in for prices on an arrangement for my dads memorial service. Other places I went to for standing arrangement started at $180. When entering I was greeted by the gentleman at the counter who asked what it was I was looking for. I explained that my father passed and was looking for a standing arrangement from the grandkids. He gave me his condolences and helped me pick out a beautiful arrangement that was a great price. He made sure it was delivered 30 mins before the services started and even sent me a text showing it had been delivered to the church. Pros: *beautiful fresh roses/flowers - will last at least 1-2 weeks, not a few days *Always delivered flowers on time as promised *not expensive for the quality you are getting *while other florists may not go by the catalogue(they will substitute their flowers); so far, this store had always sent us exactly what we ordered from their online catalogue. If they don't have a certain tropical flower, they would tell us. *My coworkers in this area also told me they only purchase their flowers in this store. *this store will never ask their customers to yelp - two of my family members from out of state bought flowers from another shop in Moreno Valley and were treated very nice but afterward, the owners asked them to yelp (whaaaaaaa!!!!!!.......Ok, if anyone deserves a 5 star, it is Van's.) A hidden gem!! My husband goes nowhere else for flowers (even though we've moved around) and has gotten me beautiful arrangements over the years. And my wedding bouquet/boutonnière was from Van's - I showed them a picture off Pinterest, told them my budget and was a very happy bride. I think they are probably known for their glitter dipped roses (which last a month!) but all arrangements and flowers are perfect and last a long time. We're customers for life. read more

The Asian guy is very rude he get frustrated because he can't understand simple instructions and his hearing is going out I'm guessing. I told him to deliver the flowers to my wife at her job and he delivers them to customer service and drives off then I call him and ask him why he did that and he gets angry and gives complete attitude because he failed to follow simple instructions. I honestly would suggest going somewhere else if your going to get them delivered. Or they need to hire someone that can hear and understand simple instructions. I would give this place a negative review if I could it's not even worth a star. read more

Just had the worst experience with this shop. Ordered a unique arrangement costing almost $90 w/ delivery online on their website. I called, knowing some items may or may not be available in the arrangement because there were some unique items like a bark-covered container (which I really wanted), lotus pods, dried mushrooms, etc. The owner stated he did not have the container. No problem..asked if he could tell me what the replacement container would look like. "It will look similar." Ok, great, can you tell me, will it be glass? wood? ceramic? "I tell you, it look similar." *sigh. Ok, can you tell me if it'll have the lotus pods and dried mushrooms? "some flowers not in season." Oh I totally understand, no problem. Can you tell me which ones in the arrangement you have and what you'll be substituting out and with what? "It look similar!" Riiiigghhhtt...ya, no I understand, but can you just tell me what flowers in general you'll be using in the arrangement? SILENCE.... Me: Hello? "Ya, I'm not going to tell you all that. It'll look nice and similar." But I want to know what I'm getting for $90? Can't you at least tell me what flowers you'll be using?? "Lady I think it's easier for me just to cancel your order." Can I ask why? "Because I been in business for many years and people come into my shop and like it and are happy! I tell you it'll look similar!". Look buddy, if you think you're above someone questioning you and what your product consists of when they're paying almost $100 for an arrangement, perhaps you should get out of the business. Just the rudest thing ever and just plain old poor customer service. As a florist, you need to understand there's an element of trust that goes into ordering things online. If you are unwilling to answer BASIC questions like what the heck is in the arrangement, you need to take some customer service skills courses. read more

Friendly asian couple works at this little local florist. There is a selection of really nice looking flowers and the guy is very knowledgeable. My ex and I got my corsage and his flower thing here and they were the most beautiful looking ones at prom last year. All my friends looked crappy - mediocre. The price is slightly more expensive, but quality is quality. I still have mine in my room. They also have some cheaper roses and "Forever" roses where they spray a long stem rose with glitter. These were super cute. My grandparents have gotten beautiful flower and candle arrangements too and they were spectacular. If you live around the area and are looking for a nice little florist, Van's is the place. But don't be cheap. read more
