Everything else would be prepared for you, including utensils, ice, and any painting/ candle making supplies you would need. There is also an instructor who will guide you as you follow along. Though that is the case, you can still customize the painting to your own liking (in terms of colors and painting styles). It was so cool to see everyone's unique take of the painting afterwards. We all had a blast! This is such a nice indoor activity for those cold Chicago days. Since there is an instructor, this is a good activity for everyone; those who are more artistically skilled and even for first-timers heheh. When I got there, 2 tables were already set up for us with boxes of tiles, cutters and glue. The experience was pretty straight forward and to use the subtractive method to get our little mosaic pieces. We were given ample time to create our designs, cut and glue to our base. We weren't given mixing sticks, so our soap hardened while we waited and had to be reheated for another 15 minutes. They also had no drinking water, no bags to transport the finished soap, and would not let me place my purse on one of the many empty chairs even though it kept falling onto the dusty floor. Staff spoke to us only about three times, for less than a minute each. The entire class was disorganized, poorly staffed, and absolutely not worth the money.

I'm pretty sure the owner did all the outlines for us, which was incredibly impressive! The painting was so relaxing, therapeutic, and fun! I love that my friend will have this book to look back on to remember the fun day. They offer SO many fun and crafty classes here. Wreath building, calligraphy, embroidery, macrame, and that is truly just the tip of the iceberg.
