The person who would be replacing the family bible's cover was about to have surgery and they clearly indicated it would be in June 2024 when it would be ready for pickup. I called the listed number for A&H late May or early June and was transferred to an answering machine. I clearly left my name and phone number. I never received a call back. So today, June 13, 2024, I had some time and had hoped to pick up the bible. Allegedly A&H is open at 7 AM M-F. I left a second message at roughly 8-something AM. After a half hour or so I tried calling around four times. No answer. Perhaps another half-hour while walking I would estimate I called at least another 40 times...finally someone answered. No the bible was not ready. It should be ready for pickup next Thursday June 20. I "pray" A&H's craftsmanship refurbishing the family bible is better than it's communication with it's customers.
