Animal Hospital for the first time based on her high recommendations. It was the best decision that I could have made for Louie. Dr. Tony and his staff treated Louie and were wonderful. The obvious choice for me and best fitting was the Roselle Park Animal Hospital as I was hearing everything that I was looking for in a vet when it came to interviewing them... Their front of the house operations is "Outstanding". No matter how many questions I has she was always ready and available to answer my calls and questions. Her/their professionalism and knowledge was very much appreciated and at no moment did I ever feel as if I was just "another number"! The level of my pets situation was truly stressful, not only for me but for my entire family; was taking a toll on me and my loved ones. It showed this was baring heavy on all of us! However, dr. Bala was truly AMAZING! His attention to detail and his experience made my pet's outcome extremely positive! We started treatmeant early this year and it recently concluded - but at "NO" time during the process did I feel as if I was not being helped appropriately. On the contrary, we went to Bala numerous times and he was always there leading the way. Even when I got word that he had a personal injury, he was always available to talk and strategize for the best treatment; describe regiment. This is what I call exemplary customer service; there's really nothing that I would change or can complain about. Truly a classy and professional individual and operation (Thank you sooooo much Bala!). In my opinion, The Roselle Park Animal Hospital is not the most expensive nor the cheapest in terms of cost but they do have the right team of experts in place to help you get through tough times for any of your vet needs. Was asked if a tech visit would be ok and I said yes. 15 minutes later nothing. After seeing my dog in distress I ask if the tech is going to come out and I'm told they are still waiting for the vet to approve that. Meanwhile people are outside waiting too. Ultimately I walked out because I couldn't watch my dog in distress anymore. Why bother making appointments if you just sit there waiting? I do NOT recommend this clinic…read more I brought my dog, Gucci, in for a surgical procedure on 24th of February and what followed was one of the most stressful and upsetting experiences I've ever had! At discharge, I was told that sutures and surgical glue were used and that everything was secure. I trusted that information and brought my dog home believing he would heal properly. He cried nonstop the entire ride home and continued crying for two days straight. I couldn't even sleep because of how much he was suffering. Just a few days later, on February 28, his incision completely opened and began bleeding heavily. I could actually see inside the wound. On top of that, he was struggling to breathe. It was terrifying. I had no choice but to rush him to an emergency Trumbull Veterinary Hospital, where they had to properly suture the wound and stabilize him with additional treatment and medication. This resulted in significant, unexpected expenses that should have never happened if the original procedure had been done correctly. To make matters worse, I noticed scratches near his private area and called the clinic. I was dismissed and told it was probably razor burn, but it looked like careless cuts. My dog was in extreme pain. Now my service dog has anxiety due to this malpractice. I followed all post-op instructions carefully, so there is no excuse for the wound reopening like that. (no he did not lick his wound because he had his cone and prevented him from getting there) This situation caused serious physical harm to my dog and emotional distress for both of us. Based on my experience, I strongly believe there was a lack of proper care and professionalism. I would not trust this clinic with any animals again. I will be filing a formal complaint.

He volunteered much of his time to my and other police canines in our area. I continued consulting him over the years on both behavioral and physical issues. Further, his knowledge of toxicology and pharmacology (PhD) put him way ahead of the so called experts in the treating of COVID during the outbreak. I have trusted him in the past with the care and wellbeing of my animals and will confidently continue to do so.

The owner does a wonderful deed of rescuing animals and fostering them back to health. My kids are 4 and 6 and we walk around and pet the rabbits. Our questions (and we have many!) are always answered with time and care. They are very nice to my children and their friends - and as a mother of young children, I very much appreciate that.
