Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

Just recently had my roof installed by JR roofing and gutters did some shopping around and got some…read moreridiculous prices .When I called up JR he came down and gave me a professional estimate and explained exactly what he would be doing at a far price .He told me about the GAF complete roof systems which consisted of seven separate items that have to be installed on your roof there's a leak barrier,roof deck protection ,starter strip ,plus the lifetime shingles ,cobra attic ventilation and ridge caps that come with a limited life time warranty.His professional installers came and stripped my roof off in less than three hours and installed 37 square in one day and put in a ridge vent on my house and cleaned everything up the same day and carted it away .Two day later JR came himself and replaced my front entrance gutters and house vents and put new metal Facial over my garage roof.He delivery on everything he said and did a great job .I would highly recommend JR Roofing and Gutters .

Quote was emailed and signed electronically after questions promptly answered by phone. Was told skylights (2) might take a week or two to arrive. 10 days later got a call that they were in and said they could install next day if that worked for me. On job day, I was concerned when they discovered rotten plywood, thinking this is where the price skyrockets, but it went up only $225 to replace the sheet, which I thought very fair knowing it added a couple of hours to the job. They started at 8am and after extensive cleanup were gone by 3pm. Project Mgr stopped in several time during that day, and helped us connect the solar power shades and remotes to our home WIFI network. The crew were respectful all day. Overall extremely pleased with the solar powered shades/skylights and vendor. Would definitely recommend both to anyone in the future. If one regret. We deciding on light filtering shades and wish we had decided on room darkening instead. One last comment. A week after the job complete I went up to the roof for my annual gutter cleaning. I was shocked to find this gutter was completely cleaned out by the crew during the job! Who does that? And they didn't even tell me to try to score bonus points with me - they just did it because it needed to be cleaned and they had handy access to do so!

Andrew arrived without letting me know he was coming and unfortunately the only access to the roof was in a room where a recovery group was meeting. I asked him to please come back a little later he never showed. I called back later in the week to apologize for the situation. he told me i wasted his time coming out there and he would not be coming again. I called more than 8 times to apologize and request that he come out. he has ignored my calls. The roof is less than 5 years old, it is their responsibility to repair it, or at least look at it. Mistakes happen, this is no way to do business. Seems as if the previous reviewer had the same issue. I do not recommend this company at all. I feel bad for Ellen in the office who has to relay these messages, she was very nice and understanding but not much she could do.

The owner came over 2 hours later, climbed on the roof and took the measurements all while it was raining. We agreed on a great price and 3 days later when we had the only sunny day he replaced the whole roof. Great job and the work quality is excellent.
