What an absolute joke Joshua was to me . As a paying client this guy doesn't need to be representing any type of company. I brought my truck in for some noise . they found pretty quick . While they were looking I asked to check out the front end and see is I needed any work as I was experiencing vibration. They said that I could use new upper control arms and tie rods . Got an esti for 2,800 . No problem, sign me up . I went on back for a week so I dropped off the truck on Saturday, early so they could take there time with the truck work. This was perfectly fine with Joshua . I get a call Friday saying parts didn't come in and they would be able to get to the truck till the following Wednesday. I told Joshua I could have my truck there anymore that I have to work. He implied, I was not be responsible. I picked up the truck on Saturday when I got back into town. I spoke to Joshua and he went off the deep end again, dropping the F bomb and saying amazon has people crazy . Told him it's not my fault the parts didn't come in on time and that I need my truck to work . I told him he is a horrible employee talking to clients that way . They refuse to do a standard alignment without me paying extra for Cam bolts and also additional labor. They originally quoted $200 for an alignment then when I came in they only adjusted the tow and told me the alignment was done, charged me $100. I thought I was good to go. Car still pulling to the right, I called back, now the alignment price is an ADDITIONAL $500. I never agreed to $600 in the first place. Now I have to bring it elsewhere and cut my losses. The guy who helped me was not forthcoming. Calm demeanor but talked down to me like I was the one being unreasonable. Update: I received a call in response to this review. The technician explained the reasoning for the alignment bolts. It makes sense to me now as to why they are needed in my case. Unfortunately, their rates are more aligned with custom lifted vehicles. In my case, with a regular OEM configuration, it doesn't make sense to pay this much. I intend to replace my leaf springs and buy my own cam bolts to have them installed. I may have to get another alignment but at a typical tire shop where the costs are more reasonable. read more

That was the only issue I had but I would gladly wait to ensure the job was done correctly. They had to do modification to the car to get the size tires we ordered but they did it no problem and didn't charge extra. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really wanted to like 4 Wheel Parts, but I should have heeded the reviews. I took my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a lift kit and tires. Kevin, my sales person, was incredibly nice. However, I got a lot of conflicting advice from other sales people, including the manager, about death wobble on the Jeep if I lifted it. In the end, I decided to chance it. I scheduled an appointment to have it installed. On the installation day, I dropped the vehicle off. I hadn't received a call about the status of the installation, so I got a lift down there around 3:00 PM and waited in the store. My sales person came out and told me that they were waiting to test drive it. I got the keys back about an hour before they closed and started on the hour trek home. Upon getting on the interstate, I immediately noticed and knocking sound from the driver's side front area whenever I went over a bump. I mean any bump, large or small. I called the store around closing time, and told them about the noise, to which they replied "Oh, I see you've already called in about this". I told them I had not, and they said the noise was notated on the account or installation. To me, that meant they let me leave the store with a known issue - didn't even mention it - and I can only assume hoped I wouldn't hear it. So I take it back for them to look at it. Both the manager and my sales person come out after a little while to apologize and tell me that the tech that installed the lift damaged the strut during the process. They would order a new one, but it would take about three weeks. I was more than willing to let it all slide since I understand that mistakes happen. So I drive the vehicle around with the knocking sound for two weeks until I get a call that the strut is in. I make an appointment to get it installed. On installation day, I am told that the wrong side strut was delivered, and that they had no way of knowing as the part numbers were the same. Good news is that they can get the right strut in a few days. I set the appointment for the weekend. I get a confirmation call on Friday to confirm the appointment for Saturday at 11 AM. On Saturday at 9 AM, I get a call that they have to cancel the appointment since the person they want to be there for the install didn't show up that day. They then wanted me to wait another few weeks to schedule another appointment. At that point, I told them that new installs should not take precedence over a repair, so they finally fit me in the following week. I drop the vehicle off the night before my appointment so they can get to it bright and early. I also ordered some running boards, which I was originally going to install myself, but they agreed to install as consolation for the poor experience. I get a call the next day from the manager telling me that the strut was lost between Orlando and Tampa. They have no idea what happened to it. They told me that they are ordering a new one, and they should have it soon. They asked me if I wanted to pick up the vehicle and drive it back when the part is in, to which I replied to just keep it. The manager also agreed that this was a cluster from the very beginning. The part comes in a day or so later and gets installed. They also install the running boards. My wife picks up the Jeep and drops it off at my work. When I leave work for the day, I immediately notice that the running boards are not level. There is a clear gap towards the rear wheel, and no gap towards the front wheel, so I'll end up having to loosen everything up and take care of it myself. I just can't recommend this place after them failing to notify me of the noise and the repeated errors. I notified corporate, and never heard back. read more

No wonder they have so many employees and parts at Tampa 4 Wheel Parts. They charge you for everything up front. I called to make an appointment for a wheel alignment and they charged me $85 (half of the wheel alignment cost) over the phone. That should've been a red flag but I ignored it because I needed it. I dropped off my Jeep and within 2 hours I received a call stating I needed ball joints and to replace the drive shaft for $1550. I declined to proceed with their recommendations and just requested a wheel alignment. Well, they said they couldn't do a wheel alignment and charged me for a vehicle inspection instead which ironically was the same price as a wheel alignment. How convenient. So I wound up paying $164.27 for 3 pieces of paper. I should've known better to bring my Jeep there. Oh, and no military discount because it was on labor and not parts. Never again. read more

I purchased a lift kit, took it home and inventoried it. I decided I didn't want to install it. Took it back and they would not take the kit back because I opened the main box. They have a 20% restock fee and I get that, but to not take the kit back at all is ridiculous. Especially since it was in an unmarked cardboard box to begin with. I highly doubt they would have taken it back without opening to check for all the parts anyway. Bad business. Now I will say the salesman in there are really nice and helpful but the company policy is horrible. read more

I ordered a sunrider online for my gladiator, I was going to pick it up at the Tampa store, it showed in stock for pick up at that store, I realized I may not be available so chose to have it shipped. the next morning I found that I had time and called the store to switch it to local pick up. after 4 times explaining to them that it showed in store he kept saying it shows ordered and it's shipping, I said I realize that but your website gave both options. he insisted it was not in the store and proceeded to hang up on me. Went there on Friday with my son as online it stated they had the Baja Squadron Pod lights in stock. Nice gentleman was helping me and told me there were not in stock but they had them in the warehouse and won't be able to get them till Tuesday. After telling him that would not help Me as my installer was installing my ADD bumper on my rig and needed 2 sets right away. He tells me to wait one second that maybe they can go to the warehouse and pick up. I was ecstatic just at the fact he made an effort to accommodate. Forward 5 minutes... and I am standing with my son to the right of the Checkout area and worker comes out and says" give me a second I am taking care of someone" I did not understand him clearly and said "excuse me". He then gave me the most rude comment that he was taking care of someone. I then told him that someone was already helping me. Embarrassed at his tone, I just told my son to let's go. Grateful for the initial gentleman that walked with a limp at his customer service and willingness to go above and beyond to try and satisfy a potential client. I placed an order on 25 March this year for a Rubicon Express 2.5" lift, and the web site said all parts were in stock and would ship next day. I finally received the last part on 24 April. The on line customer service is non existent; I waited on hold two times for over 45 minutes before giving up. I finally called a store close to where I live, and four different techs over five weeks finally got me all my parts. First, DO NOT order through the on line store, you WILL NOT get any support; call a store and get a name. I've had work done by them several times and have always been satisfied. They have a really good special on preventative services and oil changes. They also offer free delivery on the stuff you buy from their website as long as you have it delivered to the store. I've since began taking my Jeep to Xtreme Jeep because I really liked their service guys. They are more specialized in Jeeps where 4 Wheel Parts caters to a broader audience of 4x4 enthusiasts. Jeep owners can't go wrong either way, but guys with Hummers and F150s may prefer this place. I can recommend it. read more

If you drive a lifted vehicle this is the place you MUST bring your vehicle to. I drive a 2007 Ford F150 4x4 with a 6" lift and 35" tires. I have taken it to multiple places trying to get it aligned without success. I won't bad mouth the places that I've taken it to because I'm sure they're competent with stock "factory" vehicles. But we drive LIFTED trucks! So take it to a place that deals with lifted vehicles right? RIGHT!! I brought in my own tires "Kuhmo M/T's" and 4WP not only mounted and balanced them perfectly, but they also aligned my truck PERFECTLY!!! This is the first time my truck has the steering wheel perfectly straight and doesn't pull in either direction since I've owned it. They also found a bad wheel bearing hub on my truck which was exaggerating the initial odd tire wear. They have a repeat customer here for sure!! read more

I recently purchased new wheels/rims and tires for my FJ Cruiser from this store. I needed new tires and wanted to get the spacers off the vehicle. My FJ has a lift, and the spacers were necessary to fit the factory wheels. I explained this very clearly to guy behind the counter when I was placing my order. We specifically discussed it and ordered wheels that were supposed to have less backspacing, which would allow me to remove the spacers. After spending about $2500, the guys in the back of the shop, who actually know what they are doing, determined that the wheels had insufficient backspacing to work without the spacers. The stuff I bought is good stuff, and I got a good price for it, but I should have kept the factory wheels, and didn't need to spend half of what I did. Obviously, it was a huge disappointment. I may order stuff from them again, possibly, but only because they are in town and sell good products, but I certainly won't take them at their word in the future, unless I can talk to someone who knows what they are doing, and it doesn't seem like they all do. The guys were generally nice, and they didn't charge me for the labor on the last attempt to fit the wheels. I hate that it was a bad outcome, and I appreciate their additional efforts, but the bad outcome is in them. Also, the shop has no place to sit while you wait, which can make for a long wait. read more

Cool place to look around, pretty wide selection of anything off-road related, but if you're looking to get any help from staff, bring a good book because you'll be waiting a while. Hung around the rims for a while as they helped another guest and in the meantime we researched rims and tires at two other locations, so we left to check them out while the guy just looked at us from behind the counter and made jokes to his co-worker. Awesome location and great store. Very accommodating and helpful. We have had them work on our SUV and they did an excellent job. Problem solving if it needed it along the way. We have a 6 and 5 lung nut pattern that they found wheels for and worked out the kinks with the lug nuts and the specifics of the vehicle. Definitely going back there for future work. read more
