So I take the OLOBD (Our Lady Of Bad Decisions) bus over to Olin Mott, to get front tires and a front end alignment... Kurt, who referred to me as "Mr Rogers", asked me to step outside and look at what he saw... The back tires were seriously cracked and needed replacing. So now 2 tires became 6 tires... Kurt likes to make folks cry; It's not his fault that he thinks more of making sure your ride is safe, before your feelings are... Currently I'm outside of Dallas, headed to Nevada, and the bus drives like a dream on BF "no BS" Goodrich tires! While my budget was not prepared for the charge, I have no regrets, not even for the "Mr Rogers" moniker, because they did a fantastic job! Was so bummed about finding a nail in my Mercedes truck tire(they're special order) I didn't want to spend $400 at the dealership for a new one, so I called several places, but this one stood out. I forget the name of the guy I spoke with but he was so helpful and friendly!!! He asked if I considered just "getting it patched" .... I took it here for them to look at it and they got the nail out, the tire patched in less than 40 minutes for $56 cash. SO PISSED OFF. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS, I WOULD. Got my brakes done at this scam & PAID FOR OEM PARTS. 6 months later & my brake pads are warped, a long with the rotors. I do not drive crazy, nor do I brake a lot. Went to the Toyota dealership & low and behold, THIS SCAM OF A PLACE PUT OFF THE MARKET PADS ON MY CAR. And now, since they didn't put the pad item on the receipt (how convenient for them) they won't reimburse me, AT ALL. It's too bad because when I went here, I thought for sure I had found a great mechanic. Enter, let them touch your car & pay at your own risk. Jeff and the guys do a great job at this shop. They are friendly and will tell you what you need and what you don't need to get done. I went in to get my brakes worked on and my tires checked because I thought they were worn down. Turns out they had two nails in them! Instead of selling me four new tires, they patched them up and they were as good as almost new. The brakes did need repairing and they charged a fair price. When I went to pick up the car the next day, Jeff stated that after driving the car, rthey found that the master cylinder was bad and had to replace it. I knew it was bad, but I didn't know how much. This wasn't a bait and switch as i would have known the MC was faulty just driving off the lot. They replaced it, but since it wasn't a discussed charged, they gave me 10% off the entire bill! Good customer service, friendly people and great workmanship. I will definitely take my car back there. read more

Terrible service, be aware, these people are trying to run a scam , they tried to tell me that my truck needed front end work when I had just replaced most of the parts that they said needed to be replaced. In my opinion the technician did not want to do his job and then they charged me $25 to tell me that I need more work to the front of my truck. They are trying to pull scams on people. I would recommend finding a different shop and not taking your car to this place. I tried to talk to management about this and they were extremely rude. Place needs a overhaul of management and employees. Buyer be ware,avoid this place. I tried to speak with the owner and the staff refused to put me in contact with him and the website has no email for anyone, don't trust a company that doesn't have someone looking out for its customers. On a rainy Saturday on 7/31/15 @ 9:30 am, I pulled in to the Olin Mott Tire Center on Florida Ave. Once inside @ the counter, I was greeted by Matt . First impressions mean a lot to most folks & this guy named Matt was sincere from the get go. Matt let me know he was very busy & then I informed him I had a nail in one of my truck tires, which might not need plugged or patched. I then requested if Matt would just have a tire tech pull roofing tack out to see if there was a leak, Matt then called a tire tech over to assist me. My lucky day, roof tack did not penetrate the tire, I was happy of course. If roof tack had punctured the tire, I was looking @ 1-1 1/2 hour wait time. I went back into the store & inform Matt of the tire tech report. I also asked Matt if I owed him for his services. Matt said not to worry, which really surprised me. Jeff and the guys took great care of me and my vehicle. Tires with balance and lifetime balance and rotation and alignment. Had me in and out in under an hour with hot coffee waiting for me. They also had the cheapest price on the tires I chose. Waiting room is ok. Cable tv with plenty of magazines. Free coffee. Soda and snack machines available for purchase. Overall great experience! I was shopping around for pricing on a new set of tires for my boyfriend's vehicle and after receiving Jeff's advice, I still chose another make for a variety of other reasons. He obtained the tires of my choice, and they were installed in a timely manner and with the promise of lifetime free rotations. However, when it turned out I unexpectedly needed a set of tires for my own vehicle a few weeks later, there was no question about where I would have the service performed. Matt and Jeff are very down to earth, and I feel as though I'm getting genuine small business service. Although the amenities may not be fancy or state-of-the-art, what I see and experience is good work, without the priority being inflated prices. Matt, behind the counter, was very helpful to my mom. She had gotten three nails in one tire. The man from AAA who changed the tire told Mom he doubted a tire place would repair it because of the locations of the holes. Mom was worried about having to match the expensive tires on a lease car she had to return in two months. Instead of selling Mom an expensive tire, Matt said he thought there would be no problem patching the tire and that we should check back in a couple of hours (It was a busy Saturday.). Well, they were able to patch the tire. Matt was also very good and patient with my mom and her concerns. An excellent experience for us. read more
