This was where he unfortunately encountered the most rude, brutish member of staff who insulted him with a foul level of arrogance stating she has never known someone to not understand the tipping policy instead of steering him in the right direction. And unfortunately for the member of staff, the person who she chose to belittle him to was his partner who was aghast at the level of unproffessionalism and completely ruined the experience and left us disgusted. This is not what you'd expect from British hospitality and I think this needs to be investigated. Shame on the member of staff.

I had the garlic noodles with chicken, $17 for lunch. My dad ordered the banh mi with fries. I'm assuming these prices are the same for dinner, but I really think they should be lower for lunch. I'm even fine with a slightly smaller portion, but Tuesday lunch shouldn't be more than $15 anywhere. I'll definitely be back to try something else! I love the outdoor seating. I'd forgotten about how jam-packed this block of Lakeview is with restaurants and bars.

It seems like most indie/pop/rock/country acts nowadays elect to play at Avondale Brewing instead of here. I do love Avondale Brewing, but it's nice to be indoors for a show every now and then. Security is tight here, which simultaneously makes me nervous and gives me peace of mind. The bathrooms seem newly renovated and were clean! They had a ton of stalls in the women's bathroom, so I'm sure lines move quick if there even is a line.
