After driving around just to get to this place, I was looking forward to a fun night. I had planned to attend a meetup event (salsa night) being held there. As such, I was under the impression that parking would be free (it was not), valet would begin at 9 (I arrived at 8:30, valet had begun - parking was not free). Also I was told there would be various drink specials throughout the night. As listed on the drink menu, there were specific drinks that were special priced. I ordered a drink thinking it would be marked down, and the bartender gave me a ridiculous reason as to why it was not. I frequently come here and have never had any problems. They have a good vibe and good drinks. Their Latin night on Saturdays is the best. I recently came here and reserved a VIP section for 16 people. When we arrived, they sat us in the smallest section right on the dance floor that could only seat 4 people at a time. I went to speak to one of the guys up front asking if we could switch to a section with more room to accommodate my party. We were told "you only have 2 bottles, bigger sections are for people that have 10+ bottles." He offered a refund saying "there's many people here that would love to take your section." Really?? That's how you treat your guests? All we were asking for was to switch our section. We arrived fairly early and it would've been an easy fix. After back and forth argument, he finally found a bigger section for us. I'm appalled by how he automatically just tried to offer a refund and tried to give away our section away instead of trying to solve the issue. They have two women's bathroom stalls for the entire place. I spent more time waiting for the bathroom than enjoying myself on the dance floor. Maybe if you had gender neutral bathrooms you could avoid this huge problem and some extra construction. Men's bathroom was pretty clear the whole night just saying. read more

I had a birthday get together last weekend. The music was GREAT, the place is nice, The DJ was rocking it all night. However, I am NOT happy with the VIP service. The bottle girl after bringing the bottles to our table, did NOT come back to check if more juice/Ice was needed. The VIP next to us had over 20 people at their table, when I am sure the capacity was between 10-15 people and they only had ONE bottle... People from that VIP was coming to our table asking us for alcohol. Not to mention they asked me to provide them with a Gust list. They had the guest list in their hands (Typed) and they were telling my friends they were NOT in the list. Owner/Manager - should provide their bottle girls more training and/or hire girls with more common sense. read more

It's sad to see such a nice place be ruined by rude and ignorant employees. Specially they're so called wanna be bouncers. So on top of having obnoxious employees who think they are Gods with an ID scanner, the place is pricey and tight. They charge for valet, entrance and coat check. I think we would have gotten a better portion of food at a five star restaurant. I'm surprised they don't charge you for standing in line waiting to go to there 2 stall bathrooms. What a trashy place. I ordered a beer for a friend who didn't speak English, then ordered a drink for myself. The bartender said she refused to serve me because my friend didn't tip her for a Corona. I apologized and explained my friend doesn't speak English and isn't from the U.S. and I would tip in her place. She turned to the other bartender and said don't serve this group because they don't tip. I was ready to give her an extra tip in her place because my friend is visiting from another country and honestly didn't know protocol for tipping bartenders. Even after apologizing, the rude bartenders refused to serve me. After paying a cover and paying for not so cheap drinks, I couldn't get served because of someone else. How incredibly unprofessional - do you really need $1 so bad that you're making the business lose money? My party of 6 left immediately. Sorry for the owner. Save yourself the trouble AND MONEY....first off we prepaid for a vip package...we get there AND THERES NO TRACE OF US....were at the front for 20 minutes with a bunch of balloons like idiots......they mention they only have two people for vip who havent even paid yet so "theyre confused" texted HUBERT the manager who kept texting us the day before to get this money and book... and surprise NO REPLY....finally she gets a hold of him and were put in the tiniest corner for vip (600$) in at this point....next... spent another 100$ on hookah outside just to get kicked out of the area and we literally had to stand with the hookah in our hands...place it down at the bar and the bartender was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL about it ..(diana?)....she got real nice tho when i started dropping money on drinks/shots...so i still kept it there because at this point im about 1000$ dollars in this place ..... this place is a joke ... if youre looking for a good time for w.e the occasion may be ( mine was a dbl birtbday) please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE....apparently they dont care about people spending hundreds of dollars there.....NEVER again.... read more

I was here a few weeks ago. DO NOT DRINK ONE BEER. Mr. 46 will tell you that your intoxicated and dangerous. I had one beer and they would not let me drive myself home. But I had argue to get my keys back for my car and they gave me my key. I had to take an uber home and wait the next day to get my car and I was super late for work. I found some hazards in the ceiling like an extension cord connect other electrical items. I saw one exit's being blocked. They so money hungry that when I needed a water I paid $3.00 for freakin tap water and it was a shot glass amount. If I asked for a bottle I could understand why I would be paying for water then. On the positive if you are 25-40 this is good place. If your 21 not the a place to step your foot in, just stay away. The second positive if you love's Cougars come on down! if you say your with meetup you do not have to pay the valet parking. To this money hungry business. They charge NYC prices, who do they think they are... The Roxbury! You can go many other bars in the area that are reasonable and respect the people. read more

Bad experience. My girlfriend got her purse stolen from the valet parking. The club was packed after midnight and the crowd is not really classy. Coat check is in the smoking area.. Would not recommend this place to anyone. And most importantly, DO NOT PARK AT THE VALET! I called the cops right away and he said that things always disappear from the valet. read more

Deciding to spend my birthday at this establishment was the worst decision I could've made and I hope my review can help can help those even considering to not make the same mistakes. I purchased my bottle services 2 weeks prior to my event because it was required to pay in full when requesting Patron. I purchased 3 bottles of Patron, 1 Hennessy with comp for 10 guest including food platters and 2 bottles of champagne all in full. When I arrived on the day pf my celebration we waited about 15 mins with the front desk. I was asked to pay an additional $40 on all of bottles before being seated. I repeatedly told the attendant that everything was paid prior weeks to that date and expressed how unprofessional it was to have my guest and I waiting to be seated. The matter was dismissed and when I asked for the attendant to explain she was unable to, it took another 5 minutes just for them to seat me to my section. When seated my guest had to find a service girl to tend to our section as it took another 30 minutes for them to bring out my bottles. When the bottles finally arrived the girls thought it was was best fit for them to pose and take pictures for their camera man before serving me and my guest. Long story short hours went by till I realized i never received any of my platters or champagne. Having a conversation with the service girl took to much of my time. I felt discussion was not needed If I purchased to have food and champagne and never received it. 20 minutes later they brought over 1 plate of empanadas and 2 cheap bottles of "champagne" . Needless to say the service was awful, that was clear to all my guest and I. I chose to give 1 star for the decor, the place was very pretty. I just wanted to have a good time and I wanted my family and friends to enjoy themselves as well, spending as much money as I did, I was very dissapointed with how i was treated and I will never set foot in this place ever again. read more

This is my first review on Yelp because of how annoyed I am. I came to 46 Lounge with a group of 15 people we pre paid for VIP, when we arrived we were all allowed in except for my husband, he had on a very nice sweater and banana Republic jeans, tight fitting not baggy at all (he even had on a belt) they wouldnt look at his ID and told him he was not allowed in because he has on baggy jeans and it did not fit the "dress code" mind you they were allowing people in with hoodies and sneakers. After going back and forth with the manager we decided to just leave and ask for our money back. As we were leaving 2 more black men came and got "rejected" at the door. (My husband just happens to be black as well) someone on the way out told us there black friend got denied in last time they came too. The owner a skinny little short piece of s*it wanna be hipster is a racist a hole... I would never go back there again and would advise anyone with a black husband or black friends to stay away as well. read more

This place is fun and there really aren't many decent clubs in this area . It's also easy to get to and the atmospheres is fun, not creepy. They have cool lasers and lights and there are three bars which is convenient. The only reason why I'm giving it three stars is because of the price . You are forced to valet for five dollars. After 12 the cover charge is $10 and they also won't let you open up an tab unless you put twenty dollars worth of drinks on it . I think not being able to open up a tab for yourself for under $20 is a little dumb. What person is going to buy $20 worth of alcohol for themselves on one round? I went there on a Friday happy hour and when I first got there I saw the DJ coming in and I was nervous because he is a younger kid and for me the music is what makes the night but when he started to play I knew he was gonna rock the house...and that he did. Yikes. $8 drinks get punched in as $10 drinks and there's a separate tip line in addition to the default 18% gratuity so make sure you're sober enough to realize this before you tack on another 20%. There's no reason these drinks should be costing you around $12-13 when you're in the middle of New Jersey? I was here a couple weeks ago for my friends birthday, we decided not to get bottles which I thought was a stupid idea to have to go back and fourth to the bar and possibly deal with the bad attitudes from the bartenders and having to wait to be served.. I've been here multiple times and have had issues with bartenders not really tending to customers like they should be. I gotta say tho the brunette girl at the top bar in the corner was so freaking sweet I've never seen another bartender as nice as her. She was pretty busy so as I was waiting to be served next I also saw how she was talking and treating other customers, she was very professional and very attentive and you don't get that often from bartenders anywhere. I have been here alot cof times. New years eve 08,09. WINTER for the winnter wonderland, even had a birthday party there. The craw is a much oloder crowed(men) , but i like it. The bathroom needs to be redone, females need more places to pee.overall i would go back if i had nowhere else to go. Came here for latin night on saturday. Both guys and girls have to pay cover fee along with $5 valet parking. There were way too many older people (28-50+). Music inside was WAY TOO LOUD and this is coming from someone who goes clubbing ALOT. It was actually earsplitting and painful to listen to. It was impossible to even hear what someone was saying even if they were yelling in your ear.To be honest the club wasn't even worth $10 and you're better off going ANYWHERE else. read more

Accidentally hit into a girl on the extremely long bathroom line and she repeatedly screamed at me that she was from Camden and she would fight me...for accidentally touching her and apologizing? I went there for my birthday and I had a table reserved for my group ( I got the 200$ package which included bottle of champagne bottle of premium liquor and 4 appetizers) Which was paid prior to this night and they also added 18% gratuity to that, so i had spent 236 before even walking in the doors. When we arrived we had to stand around for 20 mins before being sat at the first table in the bar. (so every other patron basically was bumping into our table while walking in, people crowded around us) Once we were sat it took another 40 minutes for us to receive our bottles and 2/3 mixers. We waited about an hour total for cranberry juice and had to ask multiple times for it. Our server was nice, but not attentive at all. I guess thats why they charge you 18% gratuity prior because the service is so shitty. Appetizers also took forever to come out, and we were given the wrong items. we wound up leaving at 1am because it was just so awful. Don't book a table here especially for your birthday ! read more

so I celebrated my birthday at 46 lounge. I thought it was a nice place from the photos, but I was wrong. It looks nice but first of all they would not let my boyfriend in the club. He went to change and my party went in to our $436 table reservations! When he came back in a different pair of jeans they still wouldn't let him in. He changed a second time and they still wouldn't let him him. I dint think it was the jeans the mek jeans/ skinny jeans or anything but the color of his skin and dreads! his jeans were tighter than the security guards. Over all that place has 2 bathroom stalls (causing long lines of tipsy people) and is overpriced! They gave me 3 french fries and two chicken fingers in VIP with two tiny bottles and a 4 seater table which was too small for other guest that arrived. O yeah and the waitress did not do anything special she got no tip from me the gratuity of $66 was enough for her! In addition they still have not posted the pictures from that night! I could of bought myself a flat screen with my hard earned money! Maybe they dont want a bunch of black people representing their club on their site because they have every other party up! THIS PLACE SUCKS unless you don't mind having to put up with the following: having to pay to park you're car, in addition to the cover charge, watered down drinks sold at NYC prices, racist bouncers at the door (and i'm white speaking for my non-white friend who's "jeans weren't tight enough"). this place wants to pretend like they're a trendy NYC nightclub when in reality it's just a small club in NJ on a busy highway. i've been in and out of this place for 4 years and have noticed a steady decline in the crowd.....less and less everytime i go and they just lost more customers because racist policies. read more

Amazing Time! We partied there with our girlfriends last weekend for the first time and are definitely coming back again. We were very pleasantly surprised by this place as from the outside it doesn't look like much. Great vibe, great drinks, and good music. There was a DJ outside also and they have a hookah man there too. Our bartender was fun and gave us information so that we can come back on his guest list (at a discount) next time. Our only complaint is that there are only two stalls for the girls bathroom so there was a short line both times I went. read more

Horrible horrible horrible ... decided to go for nye 2016 and such a bad idea. I went with 8 people and got a "table". We each paid $150 per person and received $10 treatment. It took 45 min just to get inside, once inside, the host was on the phone ignoring People, and took general admission People first while the people who bought more expensive tickets with a table had to "wait".. then another angry couple was after us but since they made a big deal about the wait the hostess told my group to wait so they can take the angry couple first. ?!After an hour, we went to the buffet and had a group of 8 seated at a table for 6. So 2 of us had to stand to eat. We talked to the manager to ask for chairs and was told " to start drinking we shouldn't be sitting anyway" wow seriously?! Fine so we ignored it and stood and ate. Our $150 ticket was supposed to be for champagne service at midnight which we never received , we were told to go get it from the bar cuz they were too busy.. also was supposed to be breakfast at 4 am that never came out either !! This establishment is RACIST. I came here to celebrate my best friend's birthday and engagement. Her fiancé reserved a ridiculous $500 table... Don't even start me on that and needless to say none of us will put any money into this establishment let alone $500. Anyway, of the ten of us, the one black guy in our group was stopped for "not being up to dress code" in his urban outfitter sweater without a collar while meanwhile I was in some plain jeans and t shirt and had no issues. The person in charge, some little creep who looked like a hipster vomited on him and that's how he left the house, wouldn't change the decision and by the time they were considering letting our friend in we were so pissed and already walking out. On our walk out, the next black guy in line who was wearing a collared shirt was also turned away. This place is TERRIBLE. The few times I've been there in the past have always been crap and this was just the icing on the cake. It is not worth your money. Go ANYWHERE else. read more
