They serve it sauced and there was no choice of lean or fatty(moist for those that don't like the word fatty). I was given lean and would prefer a mix or all fatty. Hey its either flat or point muscle, the flats for pastrami and corned beef. You straight up eat the point. Very thick cuts, a sign that it's over cooked. No bark on any pieces so I can't speak to there rub. Mac & Cheese was good flavor but a little dry. I love the gooey stuff. Overall we will go back again if we are in the area. read more

Really good bbq. Fun spot in a older home. Well kept inside with real pride of ownership. Back room and yard for large parties. Prices were unbelievable and the ribs were amazing. Really great BBQ restaurant! One of the most western/southern styled restaurant I've been in. There's a huge array of BBQ foods like lamb, pork, chicken, etc. The sauce on the table is sweet and savory on the meats. Had the pulled pork sandwich; very tender and juicy sandwich. Even had bacon on it which was unique. The fries taste great too. The front of the shop has take home desserts and has the aesthetic of a tavern. Prices are decent and service is friendly. This is our second time here and it reminded me we should go more often. The food is super , just what a Texas barbecue should be. Each of the four of us had a different plate from 3 tacos to biscuit to ribs and chicken to pulled pork So much food I took 1/2 of my ribs and potato home. The only negative I can mention is the attitude of the server when we said we wanted to eat outside. But I am sorry that because of my situation I think I would die if I got COVID so I will never eat indoors especially with unmasked people. Yes it was cold but that is what we wanted to do.
