He did not call ahead of time and did not respond to my text asking if he needed to reschedule. I tried calling, and he would not pick up nor would he return my call. I had my wife call from her phone and he picked up, apologized and said he was embarrassed about the lack of promptness or customer service. We set another time for him to come out. I even marked the spot with a small red flag. The day came and went, he was a no show again. Now he won't respond to either of us, via text or email, or phone call. I have to assume he does not want to consider warranty work, if that's what it turned out to be. If you check his bio on Yelp, he references wanting to build good customer relationships and offer quality, reliable service. After our recent experiences I'd have to give Brandon and Better Earth a solid F minus, maybe even a zero. The funny thing is, when he came out this past summer he asked me why I've used so many different irrigation companies in the past few years. I told him it was because of reliability and honest service. Now we are having to mark Better Earth Solutions off our list and while they can do good work, I'd not recommend them to anyone. He inspected and tested each of the 8 zones to confirm they were working properly and repaired some wiring. The foundation drip zone worked when he passively opened the solenoid valve, but not when the zone was turned on at the controller, indicating an electrical issue. He was able to locate where the wire was cut and repair it. He also repaired several nicks in the drip line by splicing in new tubing. Ricky was here for two hours and charged a very reasonable rate.
