We usually go to a nursery, which is fine, but I just want that farm experience, you know? (Maybe I'm just cut from a different cloth. But hey, here we are.) My dad actually found out about this place, and we decided to give it a whirl. We've really been looking more fun/outdoor activities to do since the pandemic, so it seemed now they were a little bit more inclined to dive in and check out a cut-your-own farm. It was fairly busy when we pulled up, but there's enough land to keep yourself socially distant! I'm pretty sure this place is a little family-owned spot, but there were plenty of people around willing to give us a little bit of guidance being our first time. We were given a general idea of what kinds of trees we'd be able to find on the farm, where we could find them, and they provided plenty of tools for us to use if we'd like to (a pole to measure tree height, saw to cut it ourselves if we'd like, etc). We actually chickened out last minute and had some of the staff help us take down a tree we'd picked out, but it's cool! They handle everything for you if you'd like, cutting and carrying the tree, wrapping it up, helping attach it to the car. Trees here were only $45, no matter what size. That's right. Big trees. Little trees. Doesn't matter. And these aren't some poor looking trees, either. Thick, full, and healthy as heck, because they're growing right out of the ground! Ok, the tree we picked out ended up being a *little* bit crooked, but it's possibly the best tree we've ever owned. I know for a FACT we will be returning to this farm to pick out our Christmas tree next year. Maybe even for the years to come! We really enjoyed our time here and I'd totally recommend this spot to anyone who's looking for some wintertime agritourism.

I was referred to the Blasz farm, by a friend of theirs, and was happy to support a local family during this time. The offer a ton of varieties in pre cut and you cut trees. Every tree we saw was gorgeous and perfect. There were also wreaths, gnomes and other decorations available for purchase. It was nice to be able to have some deluxe options that would be different from all the neighbors. Our wreath is much more full and handcrafted than ones I've purchased in the past. The prices were reasonable and the quality is excellent. The family members who worked here were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone was wearing a mask and there was a lot of space to look around. I would recommend to anyone looking for a tree. Tip- bring cash or check to pay. They do not accept credit cards.

Nice little FAMILY run Christmas tree farm. The man that helped us said his father used to run the…read morefarm and now he has it. They have a little bit of a walk to the actual trees. So, they have a wagon that carts people out to the trees. It was a nice little touch. When you get out to the trees they have some handsaws that you can take to cut your tree. If you don't want to cut it yourself, then you put a little tag on the tree and they will cut and haul it for you. They had pre-cut concolors, which is what I wanted to buy. The owner brings the concolors in from someplace in Springwater. But my family wanted to hack one down, so we went out to the trees. They have white and blue spruce trees, and I think Douglas Fir. We cut a blue spruce which perfectly fit into our corner. The majority of the trees appear to have grown naturally. They don't seem to do a lot of shaping of them throughout the year. They are still pretty and natural looking. They wrap the trees in the baling stuff and even help load and tie the tree to your car. There's a small shop that they sell homemade wreaths in and some crafts. They also had some cookies and hot chocolate there. A great touch after a cold trip to the trees. Price... very reasonable. I think ours was $35. STILL wish we got the precut concolor though. They hold their needles so well. Maybe they will plant a couple for the upcoming years!
