You haul it back to the barn and they wrap it up and help you get it on the top of your car. It is cash or check only, I think, so come prepared. You can also get a cute hand-painted ornament for your tree, wreaths, and more. They are dog-friendly at the farm, so some years we bring the pups too. They have 2 friendly black labs so if your dogs aren't friendly I'd leave them at home. Wear sensible shoes! It is often muddy or snowy. Prior to picking Country Pines we had visited numerous other "pick your own" places and this is the best. We won't go anywhere else.

There are many tree varieties to choose from- both pre cut and u cut. After you find that perfect tree they will net it up and put it on your roof if you don't have a pickup truck. There is cider and cookies in a building to warm up in. My daughter was able to write a note to Santa and put it in a mailbox right there. So glad we were able to support a local family and business. As a longtime artificial, pre-lit tree owner, I dreamed of this moment my whole life! I think I was more excited than the bf's 3 year old niece and nephew! The farm has quite a few large lots of trees to choose from, and the prices were decent. They also had pre-cut trees you could purchase. Everyone was very friendly and if I ever move to this area I will definitely get my Christmas trees here!

We had a great experience at Jurek this morning. We were undecided between cutting our own and…read moregetting a precut. Staff was kind when we walked in and explained each process. For those that do cut their own, there are saws to borrow and even a tractor ride that comes around on a 15 min loop. We ended up finding a 7.5 foot Fraser Fir and it cost around $100. Once we decided on the tree, a friendly employee came over and tagged it for us. We paid and were able to pull our car around where they had already taken a fresh cut and some low branches off. Then, they wrapped the tree and tied it to our car roof. Great service and a quick morning! We will be back!
