The spring came and I called and he said I'll fix it and he sent me a bill of $1,900. To fix it , I said no way it's under warranty you have to fix it, after that it all began with the lies to get out of repairing it by saying he went out of business when I told him he was a liar he said he was going through a bad divorce and he was filing for chapter 11 all of these lies to get out of doing what he promised to fix and the worst of it I had someone call to get a price for a driveway and they said when would like it done, how's that for someone who is out of business. So check this out before you hire him. He is not a man of his word. He has not responded to the BBB or myself to repair the situation.

In short stay away, their local TV adds are nothing like our eerience. Something is going on their father/sons ownership of the company. They are due 9/19/25 to come back with a complete new driveway, no charge! We will see. I will post update. Update, successful resolution. The sons were honest and apologetic about the delays. Completed sink hole remedy, down the road well see how it holds up. Offered to return at no charge if needed. Give them a shot, appears sons have taken over operations.

It's kind people who want to help other people. First, I hit a snag regarding my landscaping service regarding my rental. Holmes was mentioned to be right down the road from a neighbor. So, I happened to speak to Crissy, the owners wife, about a quick mow. I would do the rest. We exchanged numbers like just a couple neighbors and was told I was put on the list. They showed up just like she said and it was a whole team! They made the yard look great! They even did my neighbors yard (we live in a duplex with a shared yard) for no extra charge. After settling down, I wanted to do a little landscaping. Again, I contacted Crissy about the yard. Literally that day, I was welcomed to come on down and look through what they have to get ideas for my project. I spoke to John, (the owner) and he's just as friendly. We chatted, I got what I needed and was on my way. I now have an amazing patio that looks beautiful and didn't cost an arm and a leg. From the amount of Holmes trucks coming and going, I can tell they're a very busy company. But, again, they're people too. One of my huge beautiful pine trees had a fungal infection. He explained to me that the best way to keep the tree healthy was to spray it. SavATree emailed me with what needed to be done and listed the price. I felt confident because I could tell this company is a legitimate, "stand-up" type of business. I received an email that gave me a day/date and approximate time of when SavATree would be coming out to treat the tree. This company gave me SUPER / OUTSTANDING service. The tree was sprayed, and I'm optimistic that I do not have to have the tree taken down. I'm an older woman who lives in a nice area. My house is 76 years old. Many of the houses located near me are recently built, and they are large, expensive homes. I get tired of these companies that quote ridiculously high prices because of the neighborhood. Alex did not do this. By the way, the form Alex completed lists date/time he arrived and what was used on the tree. He also signed the form, wrote thank you, and added a smiley face. SavATree purchased Kaiser Tree Preservation whom we had used every few years to trim the many trees on our property. With pools in both neighbors yards, they have requested when we trim our trees, to cut back the bits that over hang their pools. I am happy to do this, and Kaiser never batted an eye lash at the request. SavATree sent their representative out to learn the scope of work we wanted done. We were repeatedly told by this representative when discussing what we wanted done 'don't worry about that' and 'you don't want to do that' and 'don't worry about the neighbors'. We received a price quote for the work the representative wanted done and none of the work we had requested. As I have to live here, I do in fact try to be a good neighbor and my trees have been trimmed the same way for over a decade without harming them. SaveATree assigns representatives to an 'area', so I am not able to get a new quote from them for the work I want. It's sad because I really liked working with Kaiser and their 'tree preservation' business model. Now I have to begin my search for a new tree service provider that actually cares about the health of my trees. Not an easy find.
