Just got done with my facial today. I chose Gasi because of the great reviews and also the prices. I've been calling local shops all around O.C. to see who has great reviews, offers the services I need (Microdermabrasion primarily) and also affordable pricing - Gasi Skin was #1 in terms of all of those. As I get regular microdermabrasions each month, I wanted to find someone who was affordable. I was able to call at around 4 PM and ask if she could take me at 6:30 (after work) and she said she was able to fit me in! I opted for the acne facial instead of the micro because lord knows I need it right now. = THE SHOP = I missed the shop 3x because it was dark. You basically want to turn in near CHASE, and park there - then you can walk towards the shop (it's facing BEACH). The shop itself is super clean, and I think I saw about 2-3 rooms for facials. The bathroom was also very clean, though small. = ACNE FACIAL: $40 = She had me go into the room and undress so that I could wear something that would make it easier for the neck massage and shoulder massage. She then started removing my makeup and using this tool that reminded me of an exfoliating brush but more gentle, then giving me a facial massage while steaming my face. I loved this part - it took about 15 - 20 minutes and she used some sort of oil that smelled wonderful. Afterwards, when my pores had opened up she began the extractions. She put on gloves and began to use something to prick my skin (which is great because normally people just start extracting right away) and began extracting my blackheads and whiteheads. She also asked me if I wanted to extract my milia, which I have been trying to get rid of FOREVER so of course I said yes. I'm not going to lie, it hurt - but pain is beauty and sadly I can't tolerate that much pain so she didn't get to extract everything. She was able to do it quickly and efficiently though and I was actually surprised at how many she was able to clear out. Afterwards, she put a sheet on my face and used another machine which she ran over my skin. Then she finally put on a mask while giving me a shoulder and neck massage. Overall, the whole thing took an hour! I loved it and already booked an appointment for my microdermabrasion next month. read more

I'm happy I found this place on Yelp. 4.5 STARS I have combination skin and during this time of the year (cold at night, hot during day), my skin became quite irritating. So I browsed Yelp and found this place. It's relatively new and the ratings are good so I gave it a try. I called ahead but unfortunately the call went straight to voice mail. I came straight here and chi Thuy (the owner) was able to take me in. She was busy with another customer when I called so she wasn't able to pick up the phone. It's understandable since I also want my aesthetician not to pick up her phone while caring for my skin. I had a European facial in 1 hour 5 minutes ($25). $10 more if you want additional time. Chi Thuy started off cleansing my skin. It was throughout as she took time cleansing the pores on my cheeks. Then she moved on to treat my black head acne. I had a lot of them on my nose. After that, I had a refreshing facial mask. During this time, chi Thuy left the room and let me relax by myself. After 10 minutes, she came back and gave my a quick shoulder massage. It wasn't the best I had but still relaxing. Then, chi Thuy took off the mask and applied moisturizer on my face. Chi Thuy was a personal and caring person. I was speaking to her in Viet but she can also speak English just fine. The place is quite small but easy to find. The interior is clean and tidy. I'd come back here for my facials. read more

This place sells the good stuff for total body care; it even comes with a customized menu with product name, product photo, and its uses! How neat! So, yeah, we got started immediately. Tammi used the various high quality products, instruments/machines/steamer, and incredible massage techniques. She gracefully did extractions in areas that were sensitive and hard-to-reach. Just got my facial and first ever lash perm done here. The facial itself was great. She knew exactly what she was doing and the mask was so refreshing. $35 for a facial is quite a deal and $40 for a lashperm! It was easy to book an appointment which is always a plus. I'll be recommending my friends and coming back for more. My lashes were pin straight before the perm. Even after using a curler it would go straight again after a few mins. Hopefully the perm lasts awhile because I would get it done again. read more

All of her product is top of the line, she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and really took the time to care for me. She did a wonderful mask with an amazing shoulder massage. I wanted to wait a while before writing this review, because I've been to many facial places and it takes a while to see if a place is right for your skin. But after coming here for a few times now(4 times) I can assure you all that this place is the place to go if you're looking for a facial that is relaxing yet gets the job done. Tammie is literally phenomenal and I'm soo glad I found her as my esthetician! The process starts with her asking you to change into a robe , then she proceeds to clean your face to remove the first layer of dirt and impurities. She then begins the microdermabrasion, which is a non-invasive way to exfoliate deeper into the skin by using a diamond tip compared to your at home exfoliation. If you're uncomfortable with the microdermabrasion you can just tell her you don't want it, but for me personally this step is amazing as it removes soo much of my dead skin. Then she uses the steamer to open up your pores for extraction. And for anyone who has gotten a good facial before knows that extractions is key, but never fun. Its painful especially for me since I have alot of whiteheads on my nose. But tammie techniques of extraction is beyond what I've ever experienced before. She makes it quick and painless as it can, but nevertheless the less expect to be uncomfortable during this part. Extraction is soo worth it in the end though, I always feel ten pounds lighter off my face afterwards haha. Then she continues on with high frequency in order to kill any bacteria thats left after extractions. Lastly, she finishes off with a cold cooling molding mask, which is one of my favorite masks ever! Tammie also gives you a little neck and head massage at the end, which I notice alot of other estheticians have been getting lazy with. Overall shes amazing and my skin looks great after a day or two. Give her a try and you won't be disappointed. Please remember to tip well as her prices are more than reasonable! read more

I have sensitive skin but need help with minor breakout..i was skeptical to go get a facial because I'd afraid it will cause me to break out even more. I went in Sunday at 4:30 to get an acne facial, and I left with new pimples on my face where she picked at .I feel like I got ripped off.This was the worst acne treatment I have ever paid for. The facial started off by her telling me "I needed microdermabrasion" and I told her "I'd just like to try the acne facial with extractions", since it was my first time here. She was persistent and said "it would be 50$" total so I said "ok". My technician left the room multiple times as if stalling for time to pass. I am really disappointed with my experience because it was not busy. I was the only customer and first time customer. The lady was nice, but basically lazy and did not care. My favorite thing about this place is that they are very attentive to you and know exactly what you needs are. Their facial and brow waxing is must for me every month. So every time i come here for a facial and brow wax my skin comes out so smooth and refresh, and the brow job that they do there is just so fast and painless. When i have a big event to attend, such a s a wedding, i would go there and have my make-up done, and i tell you the make-up looks great on me and it stays on all day and night. I took my teenage daughter and her friend for acne facials. Both Tammie and and Phuong did a great job with the kids. They used numbing cream to lessen the pressure from the extractions. I couldn't make it on any of the available times, so she scheduled me in on a Sunday ( which is closed, and not to mention it is the lunar year weekend) with out any hesitation.
