This little gem, located off Hawkeye Street was serving up a variety of caffeinated and flavored coffees but I opted for a Blackberry Honey Lemonade recommended by Katie Jo and it was heavenly on a warm Nebraska day. The raspberry crumble cookie, neatly wrapped in plastic was the icing on the cake.....errr cookie. The historic building that houses Gathering Grounds has exposed brick and a variety of old yearbooks, letter jackets and local items of interest including yard sticks from local businesses. The owner was on hand to share some of the history and it was obvious that he took a lot of pride in the community and business. BRAN bicyclists were also stopping in for refreshments on our visit and were warmly welcomed also.
