I recently adopted (six weeks ago) an eight-week old puppy from Kaley's litter...Cathy was…read moreresponsive to emails and texts, and we had a lengthy phone conversation prior to her accepting my deposit. I brought home a little guy who was born right before Xmas 2025 and everyone, and I mean everyone, who has met him just thinks he's the cutest thing ever. Strangers, neighbors, people in stores, the vet and vet techs...everyone. He is mostly confident, he does startle sometimes with new loud sounds, but he stays put to see how I react. He does play hard w/ the 10 y/o corgi at my house, and also with my friend's two puppies, he really holds his own, but as puppies go, he's really calm (and I would say he was the most calm of his five siblings, based on the video I saw and Cathy's input). I would say they are as de-sensitized as they could be, after eight weeks (when we can adopt them). He is very sweet and very cute, and has been learning commands over the past few weeks (he is just coming up on 15 weeks old tomorrow). I hope to take him back to see Cathy and Mike the next time I get to PHX.

We are so fortunate to find Cathy as the breeder for our lovely Luna. We picked up our Luna when…read moreshe was 2 months old and she was grass pad trained and very comfortable in the playpen and sleeping in her own crate. The way they train the puppies early on really helped them to feel that crates are a safe space. We were amazed at how little training it took us when we first got Luna. Luna was also desensitized by all the different sounds and she was so calm and happy when she came home with us. Cathy and Mike guided us throughout our first few weeks by recommending Baxter & Bella to help us prepare for our puppy. Cathy is always available for questions and she constantly updates her breeder recommendation page to keep us updated. Cathy also allowed us to come to visit anytime for Luna to see her parents again and play with the other Cotons! We are really grateful for everything Cathy and Mike recommended and have helped us throughout this year. I can't wait to one day get another puppy from them when Luna is a little older.

We purchased a 9-month-old Bichon from Gary and Dawn in December 2025. This is easily the most…read moreexciting thing we have done for our family, primarily our children. Sadly, it has also become one of my biggest regrets. Do yourself a favor and use extreme caution when dealing with them. 1. We were told she was part of their "Stay N Train" program. She was not trained in the slightest. She is not potty trained. She does not understand basic commands. She is not leash trained. It was clear she had never been walked in her life. She was already 9 months old at that point. 2. Gary and Dawn said she was fully vaccinated. This was not true. She was not fully vaccinated or even close. We had to get her vaccinations caught up immediately. 3. She had never seen a vet. When we took her to the vet, they required a stool sample and to our surprise, she came back with a Giardia diagnosis. If you've ever had an animal with Giardia, you know how difficult it is to get rid of. If you don't know about Giardia, consider yourself very fortunate. It is a parasite common in puppy mills. Our vet even said they most likely gave her to us with Giardia because that was the most likely way she would have been infected. It took WEEKS of our life disinfecting, cleaning, rounds of antibiotics, loose stools, repeated stool samples to the vet to ensure our dog cleared the parasite. Absolute nightmare. 4. She had never been groomed properly and was matted. 5. I mentioned to Gary and Dawn that we traveled up north very frequently, which is a 3-hour trip. They told us their dogs traveled to California with them and did great, with no issues. She gets severe motion sickness in the car and vomits every time, without fail. I have had to request nausea medication from our vet. 6. Potty training is the biggest issue. We take her out all day long. She may or may not go potty outside; however, she will routinely urinate and defecate in the house. One of the reasons we decided on this particular dog was specifically because we were told she was potty trained. Keep in mind that we have a crawling baby in the home. 7. We hired a personal trainer to help us with some of the problems. He believed she was due to go into heat any day. Our vet also agreed, and we had to schedule a surgery to get her spayed immediately. 8. We were told she would be 10-12 lbs. full-grown. When we received her, she was already 15.5 lbs., even with a parasite infection. I had already ordered a car seat and other items for that size, which was completely inaccurate. Many items were too small and had to be returned and reordered. There are so many other issues, but I have to believe most of these existed before she was turned over to us, and Gary and Dawn chose to sell her when they did. In my experience, they are not completely truthful and omit necessary information from their buyers. A dog is a major decision and potential buyers should be completely aware of any and all issues for the sake of the dog and the families who take them into their home with high hopes.

I am filing this complaint against Puppies N Love regarding the sale of a dog that, in my…read moreexperience, was affected by serious hereditary health issues that were not adequately addressed after purchase. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed because I believe the business failed to provide fair and meaningful resolution despite the significant financial and emotional hardship that followed. After purchasing the dog and bringing it home, we learned that it had major medical problems that ultimately led to more than \$8,000 in veterinary expenses. Both our veterinarian and the surgeon advised that the condition was hereditary. Despite receiving this information, Puppies N Love has not, in my view, accepted appropriate responsibility for the costs associated with the dog's condition. Any assistance discussed appears to be limited to store credit rather than meaningful reimbursement for the substantial out-of-pocket expenses we have incurred. I am also concerned about the representations made during the sales process and the company's warranty practices. At the time of purchase, we were given the impression that the dog could potentially be bred or shown, which suggested a certain level of health and suitability. Because of the dog's medical condition, those options are no longer possible. This has caused me to question whether the dog's health background was fully disclosed and whether the information provided at the time of sale was accurate, complete, and responsible. As a result of this condition, our dog now requires two surgeries and may face a diminished quality of life at a very young age. This experience has been emotionally distressing and financially damaging. Through this complaint, I am requesting a fair resolution, including meaningful reimbursement for the veterinary expenses related to the hereditary condition, as well as accountability for the manner in which this sale and its aftermath were handled. I believe consumers deserve transparency, accurate disclosures, and responsible follow-through when serious health issues arise after the purchase of a pet.

There were people who told us that a brother and sister wouldn't get along, but they have been the best of friends since birth. 10/10 recommend. They are very well-tempered, and great with people and other animals. They are very high energy, and the perfect hiking companions. Their favorite place is hiking on Mount Lemmon here in Tucson, Arizona. They are extremely smart, and know a variety of commands and tricks. Our dogs love swimming in the summer as well, and are always begging to go swimming. If you're looking for a companion to sit by the pool with you, goldendoodles are the way! They are turning 3 years old this July, and are extremely healthy. Our female has valley fever, but has been handling it like a champ since she was a puppy! It's those good genes that make it sustainable for her. And she is still very happy, and never shows any serious symptoms because of it. Keep your puppies inside after monsoons if you live in Arizona! My family and I would definitely recommend this breeder. They are very nice people, and make the process very easy. We drove up to Phoenix to meet them and pick out our puppies when they were small, and a few weeks later we drove up and brought them to their forever home.
